Hi! I'm Wes, the site founder/webmaster guy. I'm pleased to personally welcome you to Star Army! We've been going for a long time but I still am thrilled as ever to see you and all the other new members joining up. And if I can do anything to make your first few months easier, let me know.

Starting Tips:
  1. There's nearly 10,000 pages on the wiki, but you really only need to know the general setting to start. Anything else you can just look up on demand.
  2. People in the chatroom can usually answer your questions immediately, and asking on the forum gets you the most comprehensive answers, so do either or both as needed.
  3. Use the guides we've made for new players and character creation. They'll help you make a smooth entry into the SARP universe. If you find something unclear or problematic in the guide, let me know and I'll make sure it gets fixed.
  4. You are not necessarily confined to the guides. Have a cool idea? Maybe we can make that happen. You can create your own aliens, RP plots and threads, and factions as long as they fit the setting.
  5. Like all group RP sites, your enjoyment is correlated to what you put in (creativity and effort). Be proactive in participating! It's not about how long you've been on Star Army, it's about your RP.
  6. Be positive and make friends! I already want to be your friend. *Thumbs up!*
 
Hello Wes! Its good to meet you :) Your site guides, by the way, really do help out an insane amount. It still took a while to make my first character, but I would have been seriously lost without them.
