Hi everyone!

After an impromptu interest check on discord, I thought I'd make things official with a real interest check.

Welcome to Battlegroup Warden

Battlegroup Warden allows the player to take on the role of a commanding officer aboard their own Nepleslian Naval warship in the battlegroup. Starting with escort vessels, players can upgrade their ships by selecting a larger ship to command, getting their own escort ships to control, or special upgrades for their ships. Players also get to control the interactions with their bridge crews.

The plot will follow Battlegroup Warden as they secure a Nepleslian foothold in the new Kosuke Sector.

That being said we do have a couple of questions - mainly...


Is it Nepleslian ships only? Or are there options for non-Nepleslian ships/participants?

Either way for the above question, would any forces we control need to be officially associated with the Nepleslian armed forces? Or is there a possibility for PMCs, Mercs, etc.?

Also! You mentioned them on Discord, but could we have a list of available ship choices for the start of the plot?
 
I've expressed interest before, and I am still interested :D.

Arbitrated's question was something I was wondering too. Would 3rd party personnel be welcomed? Thinking along the lines of advisors or liaisons for manufacturers which could factor in for later upgrades.
 
To answer you're question Arbes, it will be nep ships to start. Once we progress I had planned to have Lorath auxiliaries vessels for those who choose that upgrade. As for mercenaries, it would probably be handled the same with the Lorath as escort ships for your ship and we'd have to rp them becoming offical privateers. I don't see it being too far a stretch since Warden is heading to Kosuke and will be far from home.

Nameless, liaisons would probably be pretty easy to work out. Though the only manufactures would be from NAM as they are Nep's go to manufacturer.

The Cobra
The Longsword

The Hray

X of the Sneeki Breeki Service. Point him to all that oppose the Green Weenie, be that Mishhu or Red (especially Reds), and he will make sure they die the most horrible deaths possible.
 
If we have a couple of Hray gunships, it seems like we've got a nice "artillery" compliment, plus stealth capabilities. Wondering if a Jackdaw or Atlas would fit in...
