RP: NSS Sledge Mama [NSS Sledge Mama] Ep. 3 - Into Steel

Mark felt something click inside of him as the sights and sounds of the explosion from the rockets registered. The fire enticed him and made him want to make more. Unfortunately he was snapped out of his trance by the return fire. "Well there was no need to be rude ya bastards," he exclaimed as the focused on the bucket of bolts that was currently trying to kill him. He fired two of his rockets in quick succession before moving on to assist Max. "This one's coming your way Max so try not to get exploded," he shouted as he fired his final rocket. With the tube empty Mark quickly tossed it aside before getting into some sort of cover.

With a firm, metallic clank, the shield managed to catch and lock onto Richard's forearm just in time. Just a few meters away, Ylfa stood tall; covering both targets at once, she couldn't fire accurately enough to reliably force down both Militants. With each faltering moment in her suppression's accuracy, her energy barriers crackled and flared as autocannon shells struck. "Any day now marine!" the Sergeant yelled, shooting at one killing machine, then the other. His suit beeping as its barriers recovered, Richard's wrist-gun pulsed as particle bolts streamed down at his opponent. "Finally!" she yelled, the armored shoulder of his opponent melting away under the barrage.

Taking advantage of where he landed, Terrance went prone. Armor piercing shells were raining down on Mark's position, forcing the rocket launcher armed marine into cover, but he lined up shots with the LASR as the other marines fought. Pulling the trigger, the rifle cracked as sparks flew off of the rapidly moving Militant. Unlike before, they weren't taking it slow anymore! "They think we're D4n93r0us!" Kelly yelled back at him, the flamethrower in her hands spewing liquid napalm every few seconds. "They're not going to hold still like before!" The weapon in her hand sputtering bits of flaming goo as it died, the Freespacer leaped into cover as shells peppered the Daisy she was hiding behind. Moving up, he took aim for another shot; another crack, another blow to his deepening bruise, and the damaged Militant rocked back as the cracks in its chest grew, shards of armor falling to the ground.

Taking the initiative, Max fired on his opponent. With both of his forearm guns blazing, the Daisy his opponent used for cover was literally boiling away as liquid metal madly hissed and bubbled as it splashed onto the floor. Strafing to the right, the changing angle of fire rewarded him with several strikes to carelessly exposed bits of his enemy as he fired on the move. However, his energy barrier suddenly flared as autocannon fire beat on it like a drum! Another Militant rose from cover to his left, but still on his feet, he dashed for cover as the Daisy's weaker shields held out just in time. A pair of rockets sped away as Mark fired, the two war machines Kelly wrapped in flame quickly being engulfed by the explosion and thrown like dolls. Their parts shattered from the blast, the concussion shaking the battle long enough for the third and final rocket to streak home.

Autocannon fire immediately turned on him as Ylfa's opponent fired from cover, the rounds striking close; speeding away from him, the rocket went low and bounced off the ground before blossoming into fire against the ceiling. "That's all of them! Move in for the kill! You got two seconds before the shield goes down!" the squad leader yelled, dashing forward as her weapon blazed away.

At the call for an advance, Terrence grimaced. He didn't have the armor to survive a close quarters encounter with Militants, so he reluctantly determined that staying behind the others would be better for everybody. However, he did move up to another piece of cover up ahead from his position. He slid into position and aimed around the side of his new found shelter... The left side, as it were. He wasn't ambidextrous, but it's easy enough to switch shoulders with a rifle. Just a bit awkward. Besides that bruise on his shoulder was starting to hurt like piss. The colonist set his weapon against his cover to steady his aim and waited for the enemies to pop back up. Unlikely with the state of their shields, but it would make them think twice about taking shots at the advancing NSMC.

Richard sprung up immediately when given the orders to move up, wanting to make up a bit for just a moment ago. He placed his arm shield in front of himself and charged forward, firing his wrist mounted laser as he tried to close in on one of the Militants. At the half way point he activated his thrusters and propelled himself forward, to the center of the group of Militants to shield bash the one that was there and then swiftly bring the impactor to bear swiftly and using the spike to attempt to stab out the optical sensors in it's face first. He knew he was doing something a bit risky, but he hoped the disruption of their formation would give the others time to act before they all came back on him.

Without fear of being exploded, Max moved up on the offensive towards the unit he was attacking. Remembering these suits are thought based, he remembered back to the rather impressive moves he had seen the Nekos doing during their sim. Perhaps he could vault over the war machine and lay into it with his PEW. Charging forward he let loose a suppressing volley at the remaining slagged cover before thinking really hard about jumping over it, doing an aerial ballet move and pumping more energy into the militant at close range to finish it off. Max held his baton tightly, just incase this didn't go quiet according to plan, just incase he had to bash the things face in.

With two down for the count and four enemies left, the squad moved in for the kill.

Firing on the move, Richard advanced with his shield raised. Bolts of energy boiled away pockmarks in its armor, forcing his enemy down into cover, but the moment he thruster dashed in close, the both of them lashed out. Servos whirred and whined as the Militant's right hand made to grab the elliptical shield on his forearm and yank it to his right. Partially pulling it over his chest, the impactor in his hand faltered; the weapon's spike collided with the side of its head as sparks few, it's lens cracking, but only that. Already however, it struggled with him as it attempted to jam its autocannon around the shield. The muzzle blast of the autocannon washed against his suit's barriers as the two fought hand-to-hand, a handful of shells bouncing off of his defensive field!

Max however, had a spark of inspiration and did something thought impossible in a Nepleslian armor. Charging forward, his unshielded enemy was forced into cover by his barrage of fire. Seeing this opportunity, he braced himself and went all in! The Daisy's thighs clenched and easily launched him into the air, flipping over his opponent and landing right behind it. Only for him to lose his footing and fall backwards into another Daisy in its rack. Time seemed to slow as the two drew on each other - forearm guns blazed away as the machine's autocannon hammered into his barriers! The stream of fire literally carved into the Militant and split it across the chest as his defenses drained, the contents of its fission reactor falling out before melting down through the floor.

But even with all that, Max had ignored the second one gunning for him! It rapidly bounded a few steps through the forest of power armors and brought him into its sights!

Ylfa was busy chasing her own opponent around the deteriorating remains of a Daisy like a lethal game of merry-go-round when she saw the other marine fly through the air, but the moment he fell, she swore. "SHIT!" Rushing her own fight, she dashed forward and tackled her opponent, sending them both toppling onto the floor. On top of the Militant, Ylfa managed to grab onto its autocannon arm and force it away before firing a spray of bolts at the one bearing down on Max, buying him a few precious moments. "Marine! Get clear!" Her vision became a garbled mess as a a tungsten armored fist smashed into the side of her helmet; still feebly clenching onto its left forearm, it reversed their positions as it straddled her. Its clawed hand reaching out, blond hair spilled out as it wrenched Ylfa's helmet away before bringing the barrel of its weapon to her face.

Sparks flew from its head; having moved and lined up his shot, Terrance squeezed off an easy shot into the Militant as Kelly drew her NSP. With the two of them hammering into its armored hull, metal plate glowed cherry hot as the rounds sent bits and pieces spraying everywhere. Autocannon shells gouged into the floor right by her ear, but with the element of surprise, Ylfa let out a throaty roar and flipped it over, this time holding onto its weapon arm with both of hers, forcing it down and away. Its servos whined against the marine's grip, unable to bring the weapon around, but its free hand clenched into a fist; sparks flew as it collided with her ribs, again and again.

"Finish it!" her hoarse voice yelled at Terrance and Kelly.

"YES! FUCK YOU!" Terrence celebrated in his mind, pulling an imaginary fist pump as he winced at the mighty recoil of his weapon. However, his shot hadn't finished the hated machine. It was still attempting to fight Ylfa in close quarters, which sounded familiar considering she saved his ass from a similar situation. Guilt and rage drove him to fight through the pain of his right shoulder and bring the rifle back to his dominant hand. He took careful aim, as not to hit Ylfa. His target was the area where his shot had hit the machine before, but even he figured that was a tough shot. But in the back of his mind, a memory came into the decision. "Aim for a head, you might miss by two yards. Aim for an eye, and you might miss by two inches." His father's voice echoed through his head as he lined up his shot and fired one round. Even if he missed, he'd still hit the Militant.

Richard was in a dead lock with the Militant, struggling for even the slightest advantage in the power struggle. He didn't have the luxury of just sitting around, the Militant had kept his machine gun firing and it quickly ate away at his shields. He recalled something Ylfa told him before about how the Hostile could rip the arms off other armor, and while he did not remember how strong the Daisy was nor did he have any free hands, he did have an idea. He steeled himself for a moment and then put his all into throwing a kick as hard as he could at the Militant's shin, hoping he could at least break a servo or something. Just After connecting with the kick he let his weight fall back to pull the Militant forward as he tried to raise his feet up between them and put them against the militant's torso and push with his legs while his arms tried to hold the machine's in place to rip them out of socket.

Mark stopped for a moment to plan his next move. Seeing Richard in trouble he formulated a plan. He picked up the launcher from where he tossed it and held it like a club. Mark activated his thrusters in order to fling himself at the militant with the force a fat man flings himself at a doughnut. Once he got close enough, he swung the makeshift club with all the force his enhanced muscles along the added strength of the suit that he possibly could.

Max watched as the plasma literally cut the militant in half. He had to admit, for a cat suit, that was pretty fucking cool. Despite his failures at being as acerobatic as his former adversaries, he had to admit he wasn't doing half bad. That was until he started getting hits from his left as the remaining unengaged militant started to shoot at him. His barriers taking the full front of the autocannon fire, Max raised his forearm gun and while his hand grabbed at anything he could use to his advantage. Energy bolts blasted across the militants frame while autocannon rounds clashed against his shields. Reaching on the floor, he felt a helmet and reached for it, before hurling it at the militant.

Max watched as the armored helmet sailed across the room, slamming into the head of the approaching militant, knocking it off balance. Realizing that this was his chance, Max scrambled to his feet and engaged a full thrust charge into the militant. By the time the war machine had recovered, Max flew into him, shoulder checking the machine into the the nearby wall. Much to his dismay the machine didn't instantly break apart, but let out a mechnical groan as its damaged servos tried to move against the daisy. "God damn it" he thought, the lighter daisy not as forceful as his heavier Hostile or Aggressor. Max raised his baton and began to drove it into the militant in the face. "DIE!" he screamed, smashing his baton against the machine. While not as sharp as a combat knife or chainshaw, after a couple of blows with the baton, the militant stopped moving and feel lifelessly to the floor.

"Target down" he said before turning to the rest of his squad to see how they had fared or if they needed any assistance.

As Richard fought with the Militant grasping at his shield, each trying to hose one another down with fire while avoiding the other's weapon, he lashed out with a foot. The blow landed across its shin and was less than impressive, but knocking it back was just enough - pushing hard, he knocked the killing machine down with another blow and soon grabbed onto its flailing arm. Placing a foot on it however, it lashed out with its legs, knocking him down onto his side. Mark however, dashed up with the launcher in his hands and began beating the Militant down, giving Richard enough time. Its servos whirring to fight against the Daisy's synthetic flesh, metal groaned and sparks flew as the entire arm was ripped free from the machine.

Richard quickly got up on his feet again and with Mark, both began to beat down the black painted robot on the floor, rounds scattering on the floor as its ammo belt tore. Hitting it over, again and again, the Militant's optics burst before its armored housing began to crumple with each blow, finally giving in under the relentless assault.

With the brief amount of space Ylfa gave him, Max managed to turn the tables on the 'bot he faced. The two traded shots with one another before the marine grabbed onto and pulled another Daisy on the racks over, shielding himself from a barrage of fire. Soon enough though, he closed in to finish the fight. Sparks flew as the entire power armor around him flexed its muscles, driving it hard into the machine's head. The tungsten alloy of its head caved in, more and more with each strike of the baton, the Militant becoming more and more sporadic in its attempts to fight back until it suddenly went limp, the central processing unit inside destroyed.

At the same time, blasts of energy pelted the machine Ylfa was holding down as Kelly fired. The armor began to slowly melt with each flash while the edges of the Master Sergeant's hair began to catch on fire. Her face screwed up in a pain, she couldn't stop it from starting to crush in the side of her suit as she held it there. For Terrance, time seemed to slow as he focused - if he missed, he'd hit Ylfa in the head instead! Taking a breath and letting it out, he slowly pulled the trigger back, only to feel the powerful mule kick and deafening crack from the gun. Head snapping to the side, the 7.62mm round zipped through the heated alloy like putty as it impacted on the other side, the machine going limp as Ylfa rolled off to the side, out of sight.

"Squad, what's your status? I want any wounded to be treated first, then grab any gear you can get," she ordered them all. "And where's the damn cat from earlier?"

"Hai, imasu," came a young woman's reply. The Yamatai-Go 'Yes, I'm here' was followed by the Daisy from before coming out from behind the wrecked TASHA, limping on a bad leg. "I can help you all equip heavier weapons onto your suits, I saw the enemy go lower, into the medbay, but I'm also certain they're above where MEG - "

"Shut up and tell us where the nearest airlock is at so we can leave," Ylfa snapped back. Sitting back up, the squad could see that the left side of her face was slashed up by the fragments from the bullet impacts earlier - she was too close to the Militant when the rounds struck. And that wasn't mentioning the left side of her chest either. The knuckle marks from the war machine were clearly visible on her plates. Darting her eyes over to Terrance, she jabbed a finger at him as well. "And you, get in a suit. No time to be picky cherry-boy."

"W-wait! We need your help! You can't just leave!" the Star Army Daisy pleaded.

"Hmph. You know where I stand on this," Kelly's voice chimed in. Stepping forward, the Daisy seemed to cower a little at the Freespacer's presence despite being taller.

"Hell yeah!" Terrence celebrated when he downed a Militant. He shot up with both hands in the air like a referee nonverbally communicating a goal had been scored. He cleared his throat and adopted a more grouchy expression when Ylfa ordered that he go put on something that wasn't NEPSLESLIA, YEAH. Ahem, sorry, still getting off the excitement from winning. "Yes, Master Sergeant." He acknowledged as he rushed towards the area they had come from to look for a Daisy. After looking at the available resources, he went with a Daisy II, equipped with one of them flashy wrist blades. "Looks cool, I'll give 'em that." The colonist conceded as he donned the Daisy, which was a female variant, but it was designed for someone with an extremely small bust, so it wasn't weird. He was about to rush back outside to the others when he must have hit something wrong, judging from the fact he was literally flying out of the entrance. "I REGRET NOTHING!" He yelled before landing, rolling along and disturbing a destroyed Militant's resting place before arriving in between Ylfa and the surviving Daisy. When he had stopped sliding along the floor, he had placed one hand on his head and another on his waist while lying on his side, facing Ylfa. "Guh, you sure you want me in this thing, Master Sergeant? Also, which way are we going in the station, I'm sure there's still asses that need a-kickin' and Yamataians who need a-savin'." He was clearly unaware of his suggestive position, and the topic at hand, though it was obvious that Terrence wanted to clear out the rest of the station.

"Well that was fun, huh Rich," Mark sarcastically asked tossing aside the launcher before leaning against the wall to catch his breath. All the excitement left him slightly tired but with the only ailment he was going to suffer from was slight muscle soreness in the morning he decided keep quiet and grin slightly while watching Terrence make a fool of himself.

"Well Top, I didn't think it was possible but somehow your face got even more fucked up," Mark joked, taking his helmet off and activating his lungs filters so he wouldn't lose that nice strange taste in his mouth. He was in the middle of taking a step forward to look get a better look at Ylfa's face whilst making sure that Kelly wasn't going to eat the cat when he heard Terrence yell.

Seeing that he was standing at his landing point Mark quickly jumped back in surprise before regaining enough composure to glare at Terrence. "W Fucking TF was that Marine? Did your parents throw you at a wall as a baby or were you born this stupid," He yelled, coming up and delivering a swift kick in the ass. Distracted by stupidity seemingly not his fault for once during this attack he completely forgot to question the cat on their numbers and the crazy 'spacers to see if it would be safe to leave them on their own.

Briggs ran down a hallway with another marine both unarmed and running for their lives. Two unarmored soldiers ran after them both with Assault rifles spewing bullets at them. A few managed to hit the marine he was running with as Briggs ducked around a corner and stopped to press himself against the corner. He leaned out to see the marine he was running with dead and in a pool of blood with both militants kicking the body to make sure its dead. They both looked at each other satisfied and said "let's get the other one". Briggs was ready for them as they came around the corner Briggs kicked the knee cap of the closest soldier snapping it in two and grabbed the rifle still in the soldiers hands. He made the soldier shoot his buddy with half a clip before his dead body hit the ground. The soldier eventually let go of the rifle and grabbed his broken knee screaming in pain. Briggs put two in his chest and one in his head before moving on.

Eventually Briggs found his way into the power armor bay where he found other marines, now that his squad was dead he would join up with them until assigned a new squad. He saw a few of then jump into Daisey's astonished so many actually knew how to properly pilot one. As the gunfight broke out Briggs checked the power armors and found there was a extra tall Mindy amazingly. He tossed the assault rifle to the side and jumped up to the split open torso and put his feet into the torso. It sucked him into then power armor and he hit a few buttons closing the torso and replace the head. Checking a few systems he found this was a Shrike Assault variant that was being repaired. Logs indicated the guass cannon was not replaced yet. The only weapon attached was a type 30 service pistol to its right thigh for close quarters along with its built in forearm mounted energy saber. It would have to do for now until better weapons could be added. Luckily the systems and armor were replaced they just didn't bother to re arm the damn thing. Powering it up fully and its shields Briggs walked over to the group of daisies that he knew were NEP marines with ease. His power armor specialist training kicking in.

Walking up to them Briggs spoke the mechanical speakers trying to keep up with his male voice. "Who's in charge? Briggs Cassidy, requesting permission to tag along and transfer to this squad. My last squad has been killed moments ago." Briggs didn't salute or anything he was in power armor after all. He just waited for someone to say they were in charge or tell him to fuck off.

"I don't know if it was fun...but it felt pretty good to hit something hard like the old days." He sad as he dropped the auto-cannon and straightened himself up, making sure there were no breeches in his armor either. "I'm starting to see why people like bigger guns though..." He did a quick stretch to loosen himself figuring that if he gets in another fight like that he's gonna need to out maneuver them instead of out strength them.

"No injury here, Boss. I would like a nice coffee right now though." As he was finally getting into a more stable mindset, Terrance let out a yell and came flying into the room, literally to throw Richard's nerves for a loop once more. If he had more experience he probably would've fired on him, but instead he took a defensive posture for an instant, till he confirmed Terrance was not a hostile. "Don't do that! Someone is gonna shoot you like that."

A sigh escaped Richard's lips as he tried to relieve some of his stress again, not all of it though, he knew he was still on the battle field. He listened to what was being said between Ylfa and the Daisy. "While I'll save slaves regardless of the nation, I don't feel inclined to stick my neck out for Yamatai to stop a fight they picked unless it's for a favor, Boss. Having Yamatai owe the squad or even the Sledge Mama could come in handy later." He felt a little ashamed saying something like that, but this really was a situation too dangerous to just help because it was the right thing to do.

The new marine showing up was a bit of a surprise but since they were asking for the person in charge he just pointed over his shoulder at Ylfa. "Boss is right there."

Rachael kept her cool the entire time, as she always did when in combat, and finally stood straight and relaxed as she brought a hand to her chest. She then looked at the new guy and moved to stand next to Richard as she normally did. She studied this new man, Briggs Cassidy, sounded like an action hero from the days of earths movies, it made her slightly giggle at the thought before nodding at what Richard said. She checked her ammo and made sure she was loaded before turning to Ylfa; "I agree with the pretty boy. I think we should put these pussy-cats in our debt, in doing so they could really come in handy later when we call in the favor." She had no shame in what she was saying, Yamataian Neko's were sluts to her, so it didn't really matter.

Max turned his head to see the Neko climbing from behind cover before listening to the call for help. With the arrival of Briggs, he could see that there numbers were growing. They controlled the power armor bay and could effectively mount a counter attack. Remember Freia upstairs and those cats could be useful for taking back the station. Listening to Rachael's comment he had to agree. Neps leading a counter-attack to take back a star army station? Couldn't pass that up.

"Top, I agree that we should take the fight to the enemy. We've got the power armor bay, weapons and manpower to do it. If we sent word upstairs to Freia maybe those cats could join the fight too. I say we go for it" stated Max before walking over to the weapons cage. "Hey Star Army, you wana help me get one those cannons strapped to my suit" questioned Max, pointing to one of the shoulder cannons on the rack. He remembered how effective they were against his aggressor and was sure that putting one on his armor would shred a militant.

"B-but you can't! We're allies now - you're supposed to help us!" the shortest Daisy there sputtered in shock.

"Well," Ylfa began, her voice oozing with extra-niceness reserved for pre-schoolers, "It never said how. So we'll just waltz on out and tell the other Marines to lend you a hand, okaaaay?~" the tall blond smiled at the armored Neko. Though it wasn't a nice one in the slightest, Terrance drew attention off of it and onto himself. His desire to move faster only lit up his thrusters, sending him through the air, only to land face first and ass-up. Hearing the young marine's entire ordeal from beginning to end, the squad leader's eyes cringed as he came to a halt, metal screeching against metal. Turning to the Star Army woman in front of her, she apologized. "I'm sorry, he's sheltered." The uproar that Mark flew into before one power armored boot flew into a power armored ass only made Ylfa pause, waiting for them to finish. "And he's a Roidasaurus-Rex that I still look better than," she remarked at his comment.

"Kokoro yori okuyami moushiagemasu," the helmeted Nekovalkyrja replied solemnly. Having given condolences from her heart, she went to start help Max mount a cannon, only to briefly bring her own attention to the newcomer that suddenly arrived before finishing. Hearing Richard address him however, the Master Sergeant turned to face Briggs, revealing a tall blond that simply looked good in the Daisy she wore. At least, she would have, if it weren't for the fact that the left side of her face looked like it took grenade fragments; they could all clearly see her teeth, a good portion of her cheek having been torn away.

"You sure you want to tag along Private?" the woman asked Briggs, setting a hand on her hips. "The ride never ends you know." Pointing at Terrance, who was still on the floor, she added, "I mean, this guy wants to stay and keep fighting like a White Knight after the hell we went through, and that guy," she then pointed at Mark, "Thinks with his manliness rather than his brains. I really don't need to go into how bad that is." Before either could say anything more though, both Rachael and Richard gave their own opinion and wanted to keep fighting.

Hell, even Max wanted to do the same!

"Oh, come on guys, really? You want to help them after all the crazy shit they've done to everyone?" Seeing the determination in their eyes, the squad leader could only grumble to herself before letting out an exasperated sigh. "Well, at least you guys want to do it for more practical reasons," she admitted. Looking to Kelly - the only Freespacer in the group and practically one of of the same killing machines they went up against, but in a much smaller package - the answer they all got was very clear.

"I H@T3 Y0U @lL." She then stomped off to arm herself by clambering into a Daisy. Given that the Yamataians committed Genocide against her people and got away with it, who could blame her?

"Shit. I'm starting to think she's my little sister or something," Ylfa admitted, rubbing her temple with green armored fingers. Taking a breath in to clear her mind, she barked out her orders. "Alright marines, listen up! We're retaking this facility - that means heading upstairs to beat the shit out of whoever is messing with their MEGAMI. But in order to do that, we need firepower. So drop your pacifiers and grab your guns, you big babies! We're going hunting!"

"OW, WHAT THE HELL!?" Terrence yelped as he shot up from the floor. He was rubbing his hind quarters to take the sting out of having an armored boot make contact. "You threw me at a Militant, I think I have as much of a right to kick your ass as you do me!" He turned to Richard with an apologetic expression on his face, though the former sports star wouldn't be able to see it. "Well, I didn't do it on purpose! I think I hit something by accident is all." However, his expression changed into indignation with the rather pragmatic and cynical way of operating that some of the other marines were looking at the situation with. "What? If these were marines, we wouldn't be talking about favors." He hissed out that last word, obviously disgusted at it's use when it came to saving lives, regardless of the uniform. "If we're going to blame individuals over the orders of a bunch of suits, I guess those 'Spacers gotta point with the whole 'corporate lap-dogs' idea." Obviously, he didn't believe in that balloni, otherwise he probably wouldn't be here, but it was a point nonetheless. The apparent White Knight sighed to calm himself. "I'm going to go help Kelly with that armor, don't want her to go flying like me." He stated quietly, more so to Ylfa than anyone else. He did a quick about face and walked after the Freespacer.

Terrence jogged the last few yards to Kelly, holstering his rifle to help her into her armor. "Kelly, you green? You good?" He asked, walking slowly towards her so she didn't break his jaw in place of a simple refusal, though that would probably get the message across more effectively. "You mind if I help you into that?"

With the direction given Max wasted no time in making sure he was combat ready. Hopefully his teammates would do the same. "Alright guys lets go. People are dying out here. Hey Solider, whats your name?" asked Max to the Neko helping him arm up. Max thought about what Ylfa had said and began to think about what would be good for him as he looked around the armory. His suit, almost instinctively began to bring up numerous weapon tags as he scanned the area. In addition to the shoulder mounted cannon, Max say a shopping list of other weapons. Max decided that he would go for the firepower route since it seemed to work so well for him before. So he picked up the biggest weapons he could find.
