Approved Submission [Pact] NT-560UM 'Vedma' Light Transport

This suggestion has been implemented. Votes are no longer accepted.
@CadetNewb - based upon the Star Army of Yamatai's starship speeds, shouldn't the Vedma have at most a FTL speed of 0.50 light-years per minute?

(For reference.)

Speeds
Air Speed: Mach 3.5 (Below 20,000 Ft)
Vacuum Speed: .375c
FTL Speed: 3.5 LyM
Range: Sixty Hours of Thrust, Five Hundred Hours of Life Support
Lifespan: Deep maintenance every two years.

Is there a reason for this high speed, Arieg? The FTL speed is over 4 times faster than the highest of tech civilizations, and as contextually known, the Colonial Pact isn't very high tech.

I mean sure, strap a really big FTL to it...but I don't think FTL works like a thruster, you can't stick a bigger one on and it goes faster.

Guys, I know you're trying to help, but there are more important things than a potentially misplaced decimal, which I'll deal with later or let Arieg fix in the meantime. Given that players don't interact with FTL speeds, what's far more important is DR. Right now, that rate of fire is better suited to a point defense grid on a ship, since it'll currently melt a tank. Cut it down to 650 RPM/10 RPS for each individual gun - that'll still dish out the pain, but not be excessive.

No, the military variant has offensive missiles mounted on it as well. As a mod, I aim to keep things balanced, and this is in no way, shape or form underpowered. It's very dangerous and formidable already. Even in real life, attack helicopters don't have autocannons that cycle as fast as you're trying to aim for here. What I am asking for will do serious damage.

Change the rate of fire to what I specified.

Ok, and you fixed the speed, good.
