Okay, I have some questions: What size is this? Where are they getting aether generators from?
 
Whoops-forgot to add that. Taps' are likely whatever they can salvage/cobble together-as stated production is pretty limited by available salvage. And of course the amount of alcohol available to the Smiths.
 
Fixed some wikification stuff for you.
 
I don't think aether power systems, especially miniaturized ones, are available to your faction. Is there something else you can use?
 
Could leverage Motoyoshi connections to get QF generators from Yugumo. (Note the need for capacitors, because QF is a trickle, not a geyser like aether). Unlimited energy, a tiny bit at a time
