CHrysanthe looked at Babs as she was talking about being better in everything. "Let's hope you are not just loudmouth prettyface." Chrys said in cold voice. She hated arrogant people, but she did not want make to many problems in the group. As long as that woman stays out of her hair Chrys can work with her. But if she starts commenting and being arogant bitch Chrys will beat her up. That baseball bat won't help her.

She then looked at Lucas. "So you are the boss for today eh Captain Loud?" She said and kneled to the buggy starting to go through the guns. Maybe there was some rifle she could use.

In a matter of moments after Babs made herself known, the observant may have noticed a slight disturbance in the crowd. Almost like a sea parting, the crowd would move apart in the path of one man. Unlike Babs, who had to move people out of the way herself, the crowd naturally stood aside for this man. Why? It was unknown. Perhaps it was the way the man carried himself - like there was a beast too big for his body moving just beyond the eyesight - or perhaps it was the large black hard-case swinging from his right hand. Perhaps, and this was the most obvious one, was that - beneath his heavy waxed overcoat - was the suit. Although most would recognize it as the uniform of a mob capo or a professional assassin and still move accordingly, there were a select few who recognized the cut of the jacket - the unofficial uniform of Nepleslia's 'spooks', the Intelligence/Pacification Group.

The man came to the front of the crowd in his suit and broke free just behind Babs, moving purposefully towards Alex. His face was a mask of disinterest, possibly reflective of the guerilla leader's own. He stood next to Babs, taking no notice of her respectable bosom, and stood waiting, setting the hard-case down next to himself. The sound of a heavy gun settled inside was obvious.

"Chandler." The man introduced himself in gravely tones, extending his right hand in a perfunctory gesture. "Heard the call. Decided you need help. Brought my own weapons, came with me from Rok'Veru." He said nothing more, waiting silently for Alex to respond.

Alex turned on his heel mid-stride to regard the approaching agent. Then came the obligatory pictures, the looking up-and-down, and all the usual bored looks. You know, typical Alex stuff.

"IPG." He said stiffly. "You or one of your coworkers didn't show yesterday."

And that was all. Alex returned to his former gait on the way back to the submarine. He seemed disinterested in the spook. Lucas made a hissing-sighing sound on this note, and stuck a single finger up to Chrys in the 'wait-a-minute' signal before approaching Chandler himself. His greeting was a bit more polite.

"Hey there, bud. We're glad you guys decided to show up after all." He said, extending a hand to shake, "We're doing a sneaky operation over here on the West Side today. I'm sure Alex won't mind you hangin' around, pal. Just come over here to the buggy with me."

As if to punctuate his sentence, Lucas extended a welcoming arm as he walked off towards the buggy and confronted the rest of the gang. The small crowd of resistance fighters was dissolving, some back to the sub, others back to their homes for some reason or another. Lucas shooed the nearest ones away before pulling a map from the back of the buggy.

As he unfurled it, Rennik would see exactly what Alex had only hinted at. It was a certain downtown police station.

"Today, our main objective is to free some police officer's stuck in their own jail. This police station has been defending against NMX probing for the last few months. Finally, the NMX overtook them and threw them all into the prison yard in back." Lucas said, gesturing to the splotch of brown on the far right side of the map. "Alex has a plan to get them all out. Archie and Rennik are gonna set up camp on the roof of the storefront across the street with their rifles, while the rest of us go in through the front door in handcuffs. When we're safely in, our snipers will take out the guards in the guard tower while we make a break for the armory."

His hand shifted to the armory building on the map. "Once there, we will grab enough weapons for the police officers and ourselves to mount a joint assault on the heavily defended precinct building. With all the chaos going on in the area, they ain't even gonna know we're there until we attack if nothin' goes wrong."

Then, Lucas upended a box sitting next to the truck, spilling its contents all over the ground and revealing them to be a large amount of handcuffs. "Here's the catch, boys and girls, everybody but me is gonna have to pretend to be a prisoner until we get in. I'll unlock you when the guards get taken out. Any questions?"

"Yeah, I've got a question." Dimitri had been silent during the meeting. Same silence he had during most of yesterday with the other militia members. He motioned his face over to the IPG guy since both of his hands were in his pockets. "How come he's here if he's IPG, and they're the ones paying us to do this? If he's here, why not get the whole IPG to do this job?"

He honestly found a lot of this sketchy. Why were there so many civilians endangered and yet no one knew? Should the planet be under martial law after the infiltration of so many undercover squid forces were present? It just didn't add up in his head.

Dimitri had a pretty good pokerface going on, his sunglasses definitely helped the stoic presence.

Chrys looked up in gesture of tiredness of stupid act. She then turned to Dimitri. "Sure why even bothering. Let IPG do the work so we can just sit on our arse and drunk few cold ones. Are you an idiot?" She asked with straight voice.

She then looked at the map. "Well this plan is craptastic. I hope Twitchy and Grandpa are good shooters then." She said pointing to Archie and Rennik. "Also, can we at leas keep our sidearms? What'S their security? Any scanners? Would they frisk us? Also are there any Mishu? I would hate to be victim of tentacle just because something went downhill. That said I would rip any Mishu a new one with my bare hands, but you know... I just wanna be prepared for it." She said and meant every word. None of them knew yet (except possibly Alex) but she was Elysian. She could probably rip tentacles off a Mishu. Probably.

Chandler had stood quietly by the map, observing the plan. He had his own set of questions, but he had decided to let the others ask theirs before he voiced his own. His ears perked up when he heard Dimitri's question, but for the moment he kept his mouth shut.

He let the tall one, Chrysanthe, voice her own questions, then he turned towards Dimitri. "First off, looks can be decieving. I'm no longer operating with the IPG, not since one of their Operators broke a portion of my skull and got me discharged." His face got dark as he approached Dimitri slowly, flexing one of his hands. He came within mere inches of the man, raised his right hand, and slapped Dimitri, open-palmed, right across the face. "Second, never relate me to the IPG again."

Then he turned back towards the group. "Third, the tall one with the idiotic machismo has a point. I want to know the prospective size of their security detail, and every possible method of egress from the building - every door, every window, every ventilation shaft. Finally, I want to know if you have a backup plan beyond 'kill everyone'." Chandler crossed his arms, still looking down at the map.

Chrys snickered and looked at the not-IPG guy. "Tall-one with the idiotic machismo would like to know why you wear IPG-liek attire if you do not want to be associated with them." She said giving back his little blow. Chrys slowly started to think that she is surrounded by idiots. That said she knew that she was idiot herself. Future of this team did not look very bright.

Chandler turned towards Chrysanthe, expression still unreadable. "It's effective," he said simply. "People fear the uniform, so it helps me get what I need, as much as I loathe being attached to it." He shrugged. "And it's the only thing I had left in any semblance of a clean state. I spent I don't even remember how long on Rok'Veru, crawling through the dust, the dirt, the mud, the blood and the miscellaneous parts of the dead trying to eke out a living, and ruined cities don't offer much in the way of cleaning facilities."

Then he turned back to the map, effectively shutting out any witty retort Chrys may have been able to summon up.

Lucas stared blankly at the potential chaos. After a few healthy blinks, his mind came back to him.

"Now, there's no need to slap the guy, nobody here knew you wasn't IPG, waltzin' around dressed like that. 'Makes you look like a jackass." Lucas said, holding the map kind of sheepishly in one hand whilst waving the other along with his words.

"Anyhow," he went on, not really sure what to do about Dimitri, "We got a job to do, so let's stay focused and pretend that little event didn't happen..." Back to the map for more gesturing. "Everyone will be unarmed at first, but there will be weapons in the truck. This huge stack I've set out here is for you guys to get familiar with your selection and make sure there's no conflicts of interest. Feel free to add one or two of your own weapons to the mix. Now, onto Chandler's question. The thing that makes this so dangerous is that we don't know much about it."

Lucas swept a hand across the storefront adjacent to the police station.

"All we got to go on are reports from resistance forces in this building. They've noted the presence of a squid, and a small contingent of ID-Sol's. " Lucas explained, "They've seen the police officers in back. They're being treated well, mainly because the NMX are scared to go back there while Paragon's offensive is going on. We've also heard reports that the Paragon offensive has drawn a significant number of them out to the fight. Pretty much, nobody's home. If we can take out the Guard Tower and arm the prisoners without anyone in the precinct building knowing about it, we'll far outnumber them."

His face drew down at the next part.

"If we're found out early, our only choice will be to cover the prisoner's escape from a position at the armory so Paragon can vaporize the place." Lucas bit his lip for a second before going on, "We'd rather not do that, 'cuz the building might have valuable intel."

Chrys was looking at the map and was thinking. That plan was risky but doable. "I see two problems." She said after few moments. "Since it is prison for cops, we cannot just go there like this. I doubt they would take civvies there. That prison is obviously for more important poeple like army and police. So we could use couple of uniforms. Paragon uniforms would probably do. Also all hell will cut loose when Twithy and Grandpa fire those rifles of those. They have no silencers on those things you know. So we could probably use some silenced rifle. Don't tell Paragon doesn't have any."

"It's your standard metro precinct office, but it's not the central hub for the West Side" Rennik interrupted "The prison work yard is small, with little tasks for petty criminals mostly; all the serious criminals get sent to actual prisons instead of precincts" There was a mask of cold fury across his face. He spoke with a severe authority on the matter.
"Once the guard tower guards have fallen and your escort is dead, I will be making a break for the Guard Tower; there are no windows on the side of the building facing the street, and there is an interface to open the gate to the yard" he scanned the map
"This map isn't entirely accurate, how useless" he added with contempt "There is a small door here" he said, pointing to a point on the side of the precinct building that faced the work yard "that leads into the work yard. It's supposed to be there in case of breakout attempts, where officers can quickly get into the yard. There is a keypad on the outside; most of you can get in through here with the Police (they have the code for the door), while some of you stage an assault on the front doors as a distraction" he finished, finally taking a breath.
"Oh, and Archie and I will have to start on the upper floors of the Storefront; the Guard tower was built to be exactly level with them and the surrounding civilian buildings. We'd be exposed on top"

SLAP!

"..." Stoic face, inner rage. What the hell was that wannabe's problem?! His sunglasses went askew, but he simply put them back in place. He grabbed his pack of cigarettes and pulled one out of the box, put it to his lips, then grinned as he flicked the end of the cigarette to light it up.

As everyone continued to focus on the plan of the mission ahead and went on to figuring out how to best go about it, Dimitri would take a drag of the cigarette, making sure to inhale a good portion of the *** before he'd blow it out into the air. After having taken a big enough drag, he pulled the cigarette from his lips and from his body, letting the cigarette hang in the air in front of him.

He'd then speak out a couple of words to get his point across.

"Never heard of men slapping so weakly. Much less IPG goons."

"Oh shit, guys." Lucas sighed aloud before Dimitri even got the word 'goons' out of his mouth, "You want to be a bunch of fucking babies, fine."

As he was talking, Lucas took his hands off the map and stepped forward between Dimitri and Chandler. The massive ID-Sol stood between them, looking back and forth as he spoke with the sterness of a military man.

"This isn't a fucking game, you brats." his hands came up at his sides poised for their throats, ready for them to ignore his words. Challenging him to ignore his words, "We're trying to do something nice here, trying work to-fuckin'-gether. If you want to fight here in the middle of this shit, put 'em up boys."

Between them stood a piece of military hardware. Lucas was an ID-Sol, a hulking monstrosity designed to take on far more at one time than two well-trained men in a fair fight. His muscles flexed, his eyes darted. He was ready.

Archie simply stayed silent through most of the discussion, busy stealthily eying up Babs impressive attributes. However at the mention of lack of suppressors he held up his very own non-chalantly. He was, after all, nothing if not prepared.

Chandler analyzed Dimitri first, then Lucas. Dimitri he may have been able to take by himself, likewise with Lucas. But two at once would inevitably form a problem. He chewed the inside of his lower lip, actually for a second considering what would happen if he were to go toe-to-toe with both of them. Lucas was hardcore military, that much was apparent - worst case scenario of fighting Dimitri, who was a complete wild card, at the same time as ID-Sol, mercenary commander Lucas, was that he ended up unconscious with several badly broken bones - they wouldn't waste their time killing someone who could potentially help their efforts, but they would definitely hurt that person to the point where a lesson would be learned.

He stepped down, refusing the potential fray. "Believe me, I can think of at least twenty-three potential ways to kill both of you, but all of them would end badly for me, and every other person gathered here if the jarhead's 'work as a team' speech is to be believed." He scowled. "We'll settle this another day." Besides, fists weren't the only way to disable an opponent.

Then he simply turned back towards the table. "When do we move out?"

Dimitri chuckled. He looked at Lucas and put his cigarette back in his mouth, proceeding to talk with his lips partially sealed.

"What? I haven't even touched the little tart. She's the one with her IPG panties in a bunch." He then proceeded to take a short drag, then put the cigarette back to his side and spoke as he exhaled the smoke. "Maybe you should tell her to get off her high IPG horse and start acting like a grown girl. I've heard of better porn stories than the load of bullcrap he's said so far."

Chandler didn't even dignify Dimitri with eye contact as he formulated his next move. Face focused on the map, still blank - although his right eyebrow twitched a little bit - The ex-operator was going over the battle plan with a pencil, looking over it with a razor eye, trying to analyze the most logical places for doors and (if necessary) emergency exits. Being a prison, the windows would probably be barred.

"Just remember, if the large one is to be believed we're most of us going in there together. And if we're on the same team and involved in a firefight, it might be very likely that I completely forget you exist, and if you are wounded in action it might be very likely that I won't hear you should you request assistance." He shrugged. "So you have two options here. One - you continue speaking, and you are either wounded here if things go badly, which is always likely on the battlefield, or wake up one morning with necessary parts of your anatomy missing if you're lucky.

"Two - you stop your juvenile high-school meathead banter now and maybe I forget you ever spoke. Your call."

Both palms flat on the table, Chandler shrugged and then turned towards Lucas. "Now," he grunted, "if the big one would like to calm down for a second, I have a question. Is there any way we can contact the resistance fighters in the building you mentioned, or have they moved on by now? Perhaps they've managed to find any other potential exits from the armory, the main building, anything of that nature."

Dimitri scoffed, looking at Chandler though only keeping his distance because there was a good 8 feet of fighting machine in his way. He looked up at Luca, taking his sunglasses off. "Can you believe this dip...?" Before finishing his question, he directed himself at the ballerina with the attitude problem.

"Listen up IPG princess, I'd rather die getting raped by squids before getting saved by some immature dyke like yourself! I also find it kinda cute when a little IPG girl sermons others over prepubescent behavior when she's the one handing out slaps over stupid bullshit! Hypocritical little tart!

I hope not sleeping is on the list of things you like to brag about, cuz I'm lookin forward to brandin ya with an IPG logo on the forehead in your sleep, ya freak! I'll make sure your non-existent father calls you an IPG when he makes breakfast for you in the morning you grime sucking bastard! He'll spell it out for you in the fuckdamned Alphabits cereal bowl and spoon feed it to ya!"

His head then turned to Luca once more, pointing his free hand at the princess. "Why is that IPG goon in the team, anyway!? She filling in for our local douchebag position!?" He then used the cigarette carrying hand to gesture to the side of his head, pointing at his brain. "Think before you start adding useless body bags into the team, muscle for brains! Or am I talkin too fast for ya!?"

He withdrew the hand back to his mouth and took a drag of his cigarette, his stoic disposition now completely gone, then turned around and walked away. Any other guy would've shot the IPG bastard in the kneecap for pulling that kind of stunt. He would've done it, too, had he had his guns on him at the time. And how he regretted that a million times over. The idea of just taking the gun out of the case and shooting the idiot in the back crossed his mind, but he instantly discarded it... but why?

He'd killed people for less before. What was stopping him now?

Chrys facepalmed after so much drama. "Men...." she whispered then. "You are both idiots! Can't you go measuring who has bigger cock somewhere else. We are bloody trying to do something important here. And if you do not like each other, then keep it to yourself. But in the field I want you all to be professionals! If you princessess are supossed to cover my back then I want you to be at it and not throwing frowns on each others back. You bloody little babies." CHrys shouted at them. "Now if you cocksuckers are done let's get back to bussiness shall we?"

By this point Archie had sort of given up on his little contribution, he turned to the more attractive of their new teammates and quietly sighed "Can we put them all in chains now, wot?"
