Star Army had a good year in 2024, with lots of RPs happening, including a steady stream of Open RPs and events, and the addition of a lot of cool lore, characters, and plotlines. As we start a new year, it's good to take a moment to reflect on the accomplishments we made. So, over the last 10 days, we asked Star Army's members to nominate their favorites from the last year and then to vote on those.

The artwork is composed of two AI-generated artworks I merged together - one of Poppy's head and hair, and one of the Type 47 Explorer uniform that has been used as this year's "Trading Card" image for Star Army characters and NPCs. Both of the artworks were made using Midjourney Niji 6 with character references to my earlier AI-generated Poppy artworks (helping to give her a consistent look). I edited the uniform art to have Poppy's patches and rank pink and recolored the armor panels to the medical teal, using ancient Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7.04 (a piece of software from 2001!). I also edited her eye color. I love this artwork so much that I made an animation with it!
