A story about how the fun became fail
It was two thousand three, the war was on
The president told the troops to get gone
To Iraq we were going the commander said
"But first you're getting checked if you're right in the head"
Murphy was a private at my duty station
We were both young soldiers trying to serve the nation
But Murphy had a habit of blasting musical sound
When Murphy drove up up you felt the bass in the ground
Around our helicopters we wore hearing protection
Because the decibel levels gave a high detection
But when Murphy drove around to my recollection
He always had the volume level up on the highest selection
The Army said "Rejection! You can't go overseas.
Because your ears are messed up from the speakers Mur-phy"
So I got on the jet to the desert place
And murphy stayed behind, stuck on the base.
While were flying aerial missions to defend the homestead
He was washing dishes wondering what other people said
So when you feel a rumble from the musical pollution
