Approved Submission S6-SB steel ball ammo

This suggestion has been implemented. Votes are no longer accepted.
Muzzle velocity is left blank.

Capitalize each main word of the title headers.

Put text beneath the Stats header.

@FrostJaeger am I right in thinking that they should be listed as the highest tier possible? Right now they are listed as three different tiers.

@Ametheliana - I’d recommend making a mini-table showing the tiers and the corresponding ammunition size, as only showing the highest tier would probably result in confusion later on. “What do you mean the 2-centimeter ball is Tier 3? It says on the article it’s Tier 4!”

For point of reference, this bullet flies at 2,933 feet per-second, or, 894 meters a second. This makes it faster than the 7.62mm NATO which I believe maybe smaller than this unless the current measurement in cm includes the casing. I could and am likely wrong on the size so don't quote me on it. But, I'd like to suggest switching the velocity to feet or meters per-second and switch the measurement to millimeters for the bullet/cartridge diameter. Just some thoughts to consider.

@Soresu there is no cartridge, just as the name implies, a steel ball. The measurements are of the diameter the projectile are available in. It's a kinetic round.

@Ametheliana this is embarrassing to admit but I do not know how to format in a table.

@Jack Pine - Here’s what the formatting would look like:
Code:
^ Steel Ball [[guide:damage_rating_v3|Purpose]] Quickchart ^^
^ Type ^ Damage ^
| 1cm | [[guide:damage_rating_v3_quick_reference#tiers|Tier]] 2 |
| 2cm | [[guide:damage_rating_v3_quick_reference#tiers|Tier]] 3 |
| 4cm | [[guide:damage_rating_v3_quick_reference#tiers|Tier]] 4 |

Edit: so it seems I mistook this thread for another, sorry about that -,-

Just a heads up. I mistakenly thought this was an actual bullet because FMJ rifle rounds (Chemically propelled ones) are called 'Ball' ammo in the military sometimes. So that was a big'ol brain fart on my part. So my advise/concerns are retracted.

Would @Ametheliana (or anyone else, for that matter) mind moving the article to the appropriate namespace, please? I would, but I’m on my phone at the moment. >.<

@Jack Pine - Would you mind changing the tiers of the S6-SB ammunition to the values listed below, please? It's because having the ammunition at its current tiers makes the S6-KAS "Hailstorm" too powerful when compared to other personal shotguns within the setting.
  • 1cm: Tier 1, Light Anti-Personnel
  • 2cm: Tier 2, Medium Anti-Personnel
  • 4cm: Tier 3, Heavy Anti-Personnel

This is a rail propelled round, that hits targets at high speed. The 4cm is basically a grape shot from like colonial age cannons. That is going to mess up a T4 light power armor like the Revenant power armor pretty well.
