Who was your favorite player character of 2024 on Star Army and why?

I nominate Hoshi Sanda.

Why Hoshi:

• Continues to grow as an individual and in her relationships with those around her
• Changes over time, showing the effects of the war/battles on her and the trauma of going thorough ordeals like being kidnapped and almost turned into a Mishhu zombie
• Takes ownership of her situation and leads the player team on a regular basis
• Is always fun to RP with thanks to @Cowboy 's great writing
• "Miercoles!" always makes me chuckle

Sif Ignemar

One half of the quality additions to the Kaiyo plot. Well-realized personality, active in interacting with other PCs, proactive in missions, well-thought out actions and a distinct take on the cultured neko warrior angle with her Valkyrie theme.

Yoshida Rio

The other half of the quality additions to the Kaiyo. Sweet as a button, proactive as any good character should be, and is quickly establishing a voice for herself. The expressiveness of her body language is always refreshing to read.

@Ametheliana and @raz got me this art, and I think it is the cutest/best art they have ever commissioned for me! <3 Also, I have played this PC for who knows how long, and has been one of the longest running Kaiyo members

Alriiiiiight. To even out the PCs of the Kaiyo and because I genuinely enjoy her on the plot, I'll put Molli Byrne out there for nomination!

Not only is she supportive of her comrades but she supports the mission elements and how multi-faceted they can be well. She's been a good guide to the other PC and to me, at times, in a way that I'm really appreciative of. As a GM, her addition has really elevated Kaiyō but also how I look at missions. There was even one point where I showed some of the plot to another writer/GM on the site I respect and he zeroed in on her responses in particular. I felt really proud to have her on the plot not just in that moment but all others.
