I plan to update the Star Army forums to the newly-released version of XenForo tonight. You can read about XenForo 1.4 here. While the new files are open, the forums will display a message saying they are being upgraded. I don't expect this to take more than 30 minutes and do not anticipate any problems.

The upgrade process consists of:
  1. Files backup via SSH
  2. Database backup via SSH
  3. Upload new files via SFTP (once this starts, the forum will be closed)
  4. Run upgrade via admin panel (after this, the forum will be accessible again)
  5. Upload new files for add-ons
  6. Run updates on add-ons
