This suggestion has been implemented. Votes are no longer accepted.
Hello! Let's see if this submission meets the requirements for inclusion in Star Army's lore...

Here are some fixes this article still needs:
  1. Would you convert the article into the Weapon Template, please? The Shank Gauntlet is a good example of how melee weapons fit within the template.
  2. Would you change the title of the article to "Section 6 "Cross" Long Combat Knife,” please?
  3. Would you mind adding the following DRv3 information, please? I'll explain my reasoning below.
    • The Long Combat Knife's purpose is Tier 2 (Medium Anti-Personnel).
    • The strength of a fully-charged electrical surge is Tier 2 (Medium Anti-Personnel).
  4. In the Monomolecuar Edge section, the word "ludicrous" needs to be changed to something that isn't so bombastic.
  5. The listed price of "600 DS" in the About the Section 6 Long Combat Knife section needs to be removed, as the value of 1 DS has not been approved as being equal to that of 1 DA.
  6. Also in the About the Section 6 Long Combat Knife section, what has to be unscrewed in order to replace components? The pommel?
  7. How long does the weapon's battery last?
When these fixes are made, please post a reply here so I can re-check the article. Thank you!

Status: Pending

Note: The reason I said Tier 2 and not something higher (like, say, Tier 3) is because I can't see the knife itself causing "explosive separation of body parts/tissues" (the description for a weapon 3 tiers above its target's defenses) against a random Tier 0 dude lacking any sort of armor - however, I can easily see it causing "severed limbs [and] eviscerated torsos."

Now, if this was something the size of, say, a longsword then yeah, I could see it causing the aforementioned "explosive separation" - but not when the weapon's only a foot long, even if it's vibrating extremely fast. Regarding the electrical charge being Tier 2, well, it's for a similar reason: even with a fully-charged power cell, the burst itself wouldn't be able to do much damage because of the cell's small size - and besides, a Tier 2 electrical attack against your average Joe on the street is (in my official opinion) still quite capable of inducing things like heart attacks so long as they aren't grounded/insulated/etc.

Edit: Additionally, would you mind adding nomenclature information to the article, please? Sorry for not bringing it up earlier. >v<

I’ve gone ahead and marked this submission as On Hold for now; when you return, @SirSkully, notify me via DM or PM and I’ll change the status back to Pending. ^v^

(Hope you return soon, bro, and I’m always available if you need someone to vent to - I’ve been in similar situations before.)

I've made most if not all the edits listed I think. DM if there is something I did that's off or not quite what you wanted. (Sorry took so long. Had to eat breakfast.)

Thanks for helping with this submission, @Jack Pine! ^v^

I started a history section for this since it was missing, but you need to flesh it out.
