Kyoto, Yamatai--SANDRA has learned today that Shosa Iemochi Seinsuke, a science officer on the YSS Resurgence, was removed from the Star Army by order of the Commander of the Star Army of Yamatai for a "loss of confidence" and "due to a security concern," Further information was not available from the Star Army as the case was closed and sealed by Star Army command, however the Yamataian government's Department of Justice said that the Senator had been initially charged with Unauthorized Self-Duplication in violation of the Memory Backup Protection Act of YE 30. The DOJ also added that after review of the case, there were grounds for an arrest, but ultimately lacked sufficient "clean" evidence to proceed with the trial and that all charges were thus dismissed. The incident also raised questions among the public whether the senator's dismissal from the Star Army was politically motivated, which Taisho Ketsurui Yui denied.
