Ship idea

It would be the type of thing to land once you secured a zone, I don't think your going to land it on the front lines as fire support.

Think of it like Starcraft where you have a barracks which troops come out of no where, or a mobile factory in C&C. That is what a "Clone / Robot" ship would do.

If your ship doesn't have the manpower to take on the planet, land this baby with a few troops and secure a zone until you pump out enough to send to the front lines.

Each ship would probably have a limit though rather than how much minerals you got :3

That doesn't change the fact that you are making a risky decision with a considerable amount of resources by putting the factory on a landing barge when you could put it somewhere safer and just shuttle them in. The landing barge's internal space would be much better spent on weapons and defensive system that will enable it to hold its drop zone.

Also, 'front lines' and 'secured territory' are pretty relative terms when you are dealing with militaries that deploy entire regiments of PA that can travel transonically. Valuable facilities should be kept somewhere safe, such as a fortified system or at the least up in orbit with the fleet.

Yes that is true, same can be said for any base of operations. That is why you would deploy defensive systems if that was the case. Star Wars had a planetary shield that prevented air and space attacks, same could be considered for mindies or teleportation.

As for equipment, it would be on the cheaper side but nothing too old. This would lower the cost if it did go down, while making it a viable threat if it landed. No, its not going to win a ground war by itself, but it can supplement the forces that you sent to invade the planet.

Considering that both Neko's and Clones are considered the fodder of their respective species, it does make some sense that they could have something like this. Though it would be better to place it in a secured zone rather than a hot zone with a good number of troops already stationed in the area for the long haul.

However I do agree the cost for things like the actual manufacturing equipment may be expensive and thus this kind of technology may not be for current SARP species unless there is one based on this kind of ideal attack strategy.

to prevent the obvious taking of the ship possibility the ship would have a self destruct feature, typically turning the Aether generators into run-away aether bombs thus eliminating all enemies in a large radius.(of course you would be losing men(or robots in this case) caught in the radius but they were built to die anyway).
anyway you guys are right dropping this in a hot zone would be a bad idea. That is why there are either drop pods or transports that go and secure a LZ for the ship. Plus mobile factories are just that, mobile. The ship can just take off again if need require it lol.

Also i was thinking that a neko become a squad "pilot" of the RABBITs or Nekomachina, basically in the ship neko's "jack in" to a system that is similar to the ST but instead of a full transfer it merely keeps their neko body in suspension as they are controlling a group of RABBITs and when all of the RABBIT bodies die they return to their body. IDK just an idea to make the neko still superior to the RABBITs

I would agree that the Mass Cloning Ship would be like a logistic ship for a massed planetary invasion. Take this scenario for instance. The SAoY wants to invade a hostile planet. First it goes in send in its special forces to undermine them and whatnot, then the main fleet comes and engages any defense fleet and automated systems, and then bombards the planet from orbit, then what if it is needed elsewhere. Like an old enemy knocking on the backdoor. So after the fleet has taken away the planet's ability to strategically fight, they would dash off to handle th situation in another sector. But not before leaving one of their Mass Cloning Ship either in orbit or landing it directly on the planet. To either 1) Destroy/subdue the enemy by attrition 2)Holding the planet and enforcing the population. But of course to save money, all their equipment will be second-rated, not top of the line. Top of the line would only be reserved for true Nekos. They would be saving money and not risking Nekos lives, and at the same time destroying resistance by attrition.
Of course the ship would have defensive armaments and shields. But immediately after landing perferably near a body of water, they would establish a buffer zone around the ship. They would also have the intel from the previous invasion on enemy weapon's range and capability. BUT if this is already out there in some form, that would be the tru answer to why we don't need a Mass Cloning Ship.
