Personality: Shina carries a cheerful aura about her that is very infectious. She is also very protective of Henry in her own way, and her diplomatic skills have more than once helped Henry out of situations where his technical skills could not.

History
PNUgen occasionally awards students under its care (who has shown exceptional talent) NH-17R nekos as personal assistants (as opposed to the more commonly available NH-12A and NH-12R models). Shina was created and given to Henry in YE 22, and has served as his assistant, secretary, sidekick, maid, friend and confidante ever since.
Skills:
Humanities: Shina has developed strong diplomatic skills in her efforts to serve Henry, as diplomacy could be considered Henry's weak point. She also has a good understanding of both human and nekovalkyrja psychology.
Domestic: Shina usually finds herself cleaning up after Henry. She is proficient in doing domestic chores such as room cleaning, laundry, and has even acquired some cooking skills.
Communication: Shina is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. She is fluent in English and Japanese. She can speak and write both correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc.
Fighting and Physical: Shina received hand-to-hand combat training by way of loading all the necessary related knowledge into the soldier's memory, and then following up with a rigorous training program. She is skilled and experienced in combat both in Yamatai-like conditions and in zero gravity, with and without weapons. Weapons she is trained in include energy pistols, knives, and power armor.
Information Technology: Shina is proficient in the use of the typical sensors aboard Yamataian military ships. She is capable of operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information.
