This is an idea I have been thinking about for awhile and watching Deadman Wonderland, has given me a few ideas that can work.
Tartarus is a prison space station with one purpose to keep those who have broke Yamataian Law locked up. The prisoners are the ones who do all the work with wardens and an head officer watching over them. The only way on and off is from shuttles that bring prisoners and resources onto the station.
The idea I am thinking of is to have the plot for the prisoners and wardens where they go through their day to day lives in the Station, being able to work and socialise in the day. The prisoners have times being used to get more money as they are given jobs to be filmed, one example would be performing random circus acts for the camera.
