The Status So Far

What's up, everyone.

Here's a small update from your faction manager.

Well, not your ONLY faction manager. As we all know, due to popular demand, the ever ubiquitous and popular @Lamb was recently elected as the co-FM of this faction. This might seem like an odd arrangement, but it offers players two FMs in two wildly different timezones and thus more "coverage" if there is a question regarding the faction. We are always in communication with each other, so the answer to your questions is almost always something we discuss and agree on.

As the players in it know, I will be taking over GMing duties for the NSS Sledge Mama. While the plot reflects faction policy geared towards always maintainig a "PA-centric" or "Infantry-Centered" plot, I do plan on forcing our Marines to branch out in terms of types of missions they will run.

This includes missions where they will not always have PA, and will also include missions where they will be contracted out to various organizations for other purposes. This is in an attempt to explore parts of Nepleslia that have not been touched on as much in the past.

All in all, the faction is still going strong. We are however looking for new GM candidates, which is always a chore when the faction is made out of newer players. It's my policy to "test" new players by giving them more responsibilities ICly and when the time comes, OOCly with regards to plot management.

I would also like to use this time to draw your attention to the Nepleslian Arms and Munitions page, which I have updated with various new submissions for vehicles and starships. I mostly scoured the recent approved articles in the setting submissions forum, but if your recently approved vehicle/starship/etc is not found there, please let me know so that I can place it there. Alternatively, you have my permission to add it to the list.

That out of the way, I'd like to open the discussion up for questions for either me or @Lamb.

Suggestion: Perhaps we should aim for establishing a joint-forces plotship as a priority. I'm hurting for GMs too, if we can put our peanutbutter with your chocolate, we can end up making something lovely with half the investment of GM manpower.

Suggestion II: I would like to suggest that NAM's page also list what they are manufacturing on license from third parties. For example, the R88.
