So here's the idea. You post up the families of your characters (if applicable) and mark off available ones that other people can use. If you find something you like, just PM the user and ask him/her if you can use the character. Essentially, this is just to offer some options in character creation. In addition, this might be an interesting way to set up Pre-RP relationships for characters of similar backgrounds.
