Greetings once more, my good friend.

I hate to ask for a favour so soon in our relationship, but with the sector on the verge of heating up so quickly, I feel like the Wire Guided could be of much more industrial use to Yamatai with an increased number of small-scale worker vessels.

Is there any way you could arrange a purchase of about 10,000 KiS-2408es escape pods left over in the scrapyard system? In exchange, we can offer 500,000 Calorie-Tons of fruit and veg over the course of the next year. Delivery is included within 80LY of Port Hope. Could be useful if you have a northern-sector colony that needs a supply line?

Regardless of the result, thank you for your time.

Good friend,

It is nice to have you call upon me for yet another endeavor that I wish to back fully. I will make an inquiry within the hour if the opportunity to make this exchange is amicable to her. I do hope it is, but like you I am content only to be able to speak to you, if that is all that comes of this correspondence.

Ever happy to have your time,

Friend,

There is a hope that the embassy for the Freespacers will begin to have all Types within it and within Yamatai, proper. Perhaps another encounter with one another may be beneficial to finding a way to get your people something equivalent to those escape pods, as well. I hope so.

Always with care,

My fair lady, Child of Bliss,

I hope that this message is finding you well.

Unfortunately, Yamatai's apathy towards aiding us, and the impending invasion of these foreign creatures from the next spiral arm... It has lead my organisation to taking rather more radical development concepts to heart. Please understand, without the protection of the larger nations, the Freespacers cannot hope to survive without weaponry. But at the same time, Yamatai has shown itself to be spectacularly unwilling to deal with us in matters of either civilian business or defensive weaponry for the last ten years.

Please understand, the existence of not just my organisation, but my race, is at stake. And there are many people both inside and outside of Yamatai that would benefit from us being squeezed into an even more desperate situation.

If all goes as planned, we will be solidifying our influence in the northern sectors very soon. I can meet you within a virtual interface at any time, of course, but there are important matters beyond a trifling glance that require my attention, I am afraid.

Your friend and confidant,

Linelayer 88.

Friend,

This is no news, what you share with me, sadly. What you speak of is a part of a condition that your people have faced for too long. I hope it is not too late for me to extend a hand once more, but this time further than before.

Perhaps a meeting outside of Yamataian space, to the place where Freespacers' vexation lives —but where it does not belong— is next in the natural order of our relationship.

If you are to accept, I will come with an entourage of some Yamataian National Police, for my protection, and a ship with which to dock but not remain, as I expect we will be under the umbrella of your Mothership, instead.

Your response is awaited,

Ambassador,

You are of course welcome to join us, as are a non-Star Army body guard. The most discrete location to meet up is likely sector 1518, away from prying eyes. The Steel Liberty was a mothership that was quite well armed under the Viridian Array's ownership, but please do not be alarmed by it's approach, as I have only chosen this vessel for the purposes of fending off pirate attacks as we travel northward.

I will meet you there in two weeks hence. There will be an environment dome prepared for your use, so there is no need to worry about contamination.

Your ally,
