Art Uncle Beb's Paintstravaganza And Compliment Fishing Thread (Warning: Image Heavy)

it's rough, but assembly is finally done

done enough, at least. a lot of the small parts were broken on the sprue, so i've opted to not include them on the model. it's as done as its going to be. priming and painting soon

found a blast from the past for y'all

this is a bounty hunter from the necromunda line of games workshop figures that I painted close to... who knows ago. it was before I'd mastered a lot of painting techniques, like using wash to accentuate depths and highlight to accentuate ridges. Or paint skin. He looks like some hebrew golem that some enterprising rabbi scribbled 'amaeth' on his forehead and come to life, but all in all, one of the better miniatures I produced in those darker times

at least he wasn't crosseyed

so I got a little somethin' in the mail today

in a frantic 7 hours I took three cadian autocannon teams from sprue to 'ready for priming' phase in what is perhaps my quickest complete unit build time in years.

ran into some logistic problems with the ferdy, so it's on pause while these new 40k models trickle in. stay tuned folks

I'm digging the Chicken Tendies camo. However, you have fallen on the same pitfall of getting an autocannon instead of a lascannon again.

Loving the chunky camo and that light weathering.

You actually play a full tank brigade, or are there a whole bunch of flashlight mens somewhere we ain't seeing?
