I'm wondering if we can tweek some of the restricted and NSFW access. As I understand it, there are several plot arcs like the Nep dye screaming and the hiromosho sunrise that are restricted under the NSFW. However, speaking to the people that RP there, there really isn't a lot of restrictive stuff going on.

Could we change plots to only be accessed by registered members and keep the real NSFW separate?

I mean, I'd like to participate in some of these plots, but I do not want to see the pornographic stuff.

The NSFW filter is intended to keep Star Army more-or-less a worksafe site unless you opt in to viewing the adult content. It's already an 18+ site as a whole.

Those plots are in the NSFW section because that's what their GM asked for. If there's no adult content (e.g. sexual stuff) in them, we could make them non-private if that's what the GM wants. You should talk to them about it. Until then I don't see what action you expect me to take with this.
 
I didn't know how it worked, that's why I was asking. If its as simple as asking the GM to change the settings then that's what I'll do. Thanks for the info Wes.
 
it would be great be able to tag / limit access by the thread, and have it maybe be a bit more granular. That way we wouldn't have to have so much stuff buried behind the iron curtain. I dunno if XenForo does that by the thread or not, but if it does, I don't think cleanup will be an issue because there are far, far fewer threads in those sections. And some we can just leave in there behind the nsfw-wall

That said, there is a lot of stuff behind the nsfwwall that is all over the place and might contain a broad range of content, with the reasons it is walled off being brief and infrequent but present peppered around.

Another thing is the fact it used to be something people just did to keep literal children from getting involved with plots when we used to let younger teenagers in.

It is possible to set a user's permissions for any forum individually if the need arises.
