Personality: Very protective of the people she serves with almost to the point of recklessness. She is very light-hearted and likes to kid around but is serious when needed. She will try to lighten the mood during dire straits.
Likes: Her job, fooling around, playing jokes on lower ranking crew.

History
Matsu was on the the last NH-17s made during YE 27. Her career started off slowly, but in the last few months she has started to climb quickly in rank and assignments. She had been stationed on the Akuro for the last month and is hoping to serve the Taisho to her full ability at the Iori.
Skills:
Communication: Ushiba Matsu is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. Ushiba Matsu is fluent in English and Japanese. She can speak and write both correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc. She Learned these skills at base when she was first programmed but her skills grew better as she used them on the battle field.
Fighting: Ushiba Matsu received hand-to-hand combat training, followed up with a rigorous training program. She is skilled and experienced in combat both in Yamatai-like conditions and in zero-gravity, with and without weapons. Weapons she is trained in include energy pistols, knives, and power armor. Ushiba Matsu learned these skills when she was first programmed. She Prefers close combat but not necessarily hand to hand. She likes to be up close and personal with the ones she kills.
Technology Operation: Ushiba Matsu is capable of operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information.
Mathematics: Ushiba Matsu received basic mathematics training, to including up to algebra and trigonometry when she was first programmed.
Knowledge: Ushiba Matsu Knows of all of the various laws of the Yamatai Star Empire. She learned of these when she was first programmed. She is also Fluent in the history of the Empire, because unless we know our pass mistakes they will repeat them selves in culture and on the battle field.
Leadership: Ushiba Matsu is a not so naturally born leader. She commands her fellow officers with a gentle hand, but she doesn't tolerate any cowardice and will punish transgressors accordingly. She learned these skills on the battlefield, where she saw some of her crewmates holding back if a situation became too dangerous. She saw this as an insult to the Empire as she rose through the ranks.
Demolitions: Ushiba Matsu received these skills when she was being programmed so she could identify and disarm most explosive weapons left on a ship to be used for sabotage. But she as time went on she grew more interested in the field and at this point she can make a bomb out of a energy cell and a wrist watch.
