Year-End Festival Winter-Nights Solstice Spectacular: The Ice Palace! (YE 46)

Winter-Night Lights Pavilion
Lynira

"Oh no, it definetly is time to unwind," Lynira said, playfully tossing a snowball at Endrol. They were off duty and about to have their hands full setting up an embassy in Yamatai. Now was the perfect time to let off a little steam before getting elbow deep into work. "What do you want to do to unwind?" she asked Endrol as her onyx-colored eyes looked over the joyful crowds gathered. It was such a change of pace from the whirlwind that had unfolded for her over the last few months. Here people were safe, they were celebrating the holidays and it brought a smile to Lynira's face to see.

Lynira knelt down to form up another ball of snow, the hem of her dark green little yule dress brushed the ground. When she stood bouncing her newly formed snow ammo a strand of aqua hair from a messy bun atop her head fell into her line of sight. Deftly she tucked it behind her slender pointed ear as she eyed up any who might want to join in on the snowball festivities.

Endrol

"Oh we do, that is good to know." Endrol turned to the now familiar voice of Lynira, he was going to be working with them, so best to be polite, turning though was his mistake as the snowball that was playfully tossed at him, got him square in the face. He wiped his face as he chuckled "good shot, and unwinding, I was use to sparing with someone, helps release frustration and could ease the body." He shrugged as he looked around "too dangerous out here, too icy and also too many people, but there is something else we could do..." With this he bend down and scooped up some snow "lets see how well we can work as a team." He stood closer to the woman and looked around as he got ready with his snowball,

Katsuko

Katsuko laughed, the sound mingling with the crisp winter air, and tightened her embrace around Akina. "Absolutely, she won't see it coming," she replied, her voice filled with mirth as she brushed a few strands of red hair from Akina's face. "Let’s make sure it’s a snow job she'll remember fondly!" Katsuko’s eyes sparkled with playful scheming, reflecting the joyous chaos of the festival around them. "First though, let's explore a little," she suggested, grabbing Akina's hand and leading her off the stage.

Cheol

Cheol nodded thoughtfully, appreciating Mikael’s question. “Good question,” he responded with a hint of gravity. “The Craethel are indeed an enemy from where my people originate. They wear exosuits, and every time we've managed to open one or breach it, the contents inside liquify, leaving us clueless about their true appearance.” He paused, scanning Mikael's expression to gauge his interest.

“If you’re intrigued and wish to delve deeper into this, perhaps we could schedule a time to discuss it further,” Cheol suggested, shifting the conversation back to the lighter atmosphere of the festival. “For now, let’s enjoy the festivities here. Would you like to go in for a drink?” Cheol’s invitation was casual, offering both a momentary escape from their duties and a chance to foster friendship. Yet he noted Mikael's name mentally, as a possible soldier to vet for missions associated with his unique department.
