Throughout various parts of Kyoto
Analiese had just gotten in from the Anbruch, blinking as she took in the festivities. She had heard of this holiday from her mother, but had never had a chance to participate in it before now. She was still not too sure about the whole concept, but if it allowed her to walk among others without fear. She was dressed up in a really fancy dress, making her look more like a princess than the mechanic she was in reality. Her dress was made of taffeta and it had golden colored thread making designs in the off white base of the material itself. Her hair was done up in a style that allowed for the crown of flowers that was braided into her hair and flowed otherwise down her back. She didn't wear a mask, for who would be able to recognize her like this anyway? Her eyes took in everything...or as much as she could.
Anabel, however, was unable to really hide much of what she was. So she made the best of it by dressing up more angelically than usual. Her hair was all down and flowing, but she did have a specially designed halo that hovered just above her head. She had a bit of sadness to her, for she missed her sons and knew they'd enjoy this time, but she also knew she had to make the most of it for them.
Aldis and Herdis, the twins, were also dressed up in their own way. Aldis was dressed up like a particularly familiar young boy while Herdis was dressed up as a fairy. The two of them couldn't remember exactly where they had heard the story, but knew that this was the best idea for them this year. They were both eager to get into the spirit of things and were anxious to see what would happen.
Jo had opted to dress up as a typical witch. She had the pointy hat, a broom in hand, and even wore a black dress and boots. She didn't have any makeup, for she wasn't going to be an 'old hag' of a witch. In her other hand was an empty cauldron, where she hoped to gather her 'winnings' as she went around asking for treats.
Merna had opted to dress up as a blind beggar, of sorts. She had on what looked like rags and even carried a tin cup and a pillow case. The tin cup was to be used to get the candy, the pillow case would hold it once she could dump the cup into it.
Jasmine was dressed up like a huntress of old, even going so much as to carry her bow and arrows. She had war paint on her cheeks and her hair was pulled back into an intricate braid. She wasn't doing this for the candy, just to be dressed up in a way that was more befitting to her.
Sebastian, however, didn't wear any type of costume. She was never one to do so. Instead, the dark-skinned warrior had on her usual attire and just walked around in that, not really caring. She had no use for this particular holiday and was hoping to get back to work as soon as possible.
