[
Shosa Asleif Belemtal]
With the teams beginning the hike, Asleif took a long breath as she paused a moment to reference her map to make sure the platoon was moving the right way. So far there'd be hardly any Kuvie patrols, much less presence out here. Probably so confident in their security to detect anything coming to the planet first that they didn't bother with anything else. Was the small mercies that helped everyone. Except the Kuvies. "Jôtô Arturius, send Sparrowhawk to swing to the north, and Shikra to swing south. Tell Shikra to be extra careful, as they'll be approaching from open water, and close to the radar post. If Shikra think they can hit it, have them disable the radar. If not, have them attempt a port landing of the main compound." She said, seeing that they were close neough that breaking up from a single platoon into their respective squads was the best move right now.
[
Ittô Hei Elenor Herrick]
Climbing a tree, Elenor was serving as Goshawk's scout. She was the senior-most Farseer (not hard being there was only two of them), and so was the point. She had her binos up and was examining the enemy compound as best she could from this far out. She could make out the area with it's complexes and the perimeter wall. It looked like the compound was sheltered on the north and east by tall mountains, though the north were definitely less rough, sheltered from approach from the south by the large bay that had several islands, one of which housed the large sensor tower that had them in a hurry. And the west approach had a 5 meter tall, and at least 2 meter thick wall she could see from here. It also seemed to house several heavy cannons that were currently unpowered, to judge by their barrels pointing down at a firm 65 degree angle. There was a large gate, leading to a large flat field that looks to serve as a landing field for various, likely large, craft to move supplies around.
"Count is 4 cannons, unpowered by appearance. Unable to ID any personnel along perimeter. Compound looks to be unalert. I count 5, potentially more hangers that I can observe several haulers of medium size moving crates in, out, and around. No sign of power plant, or admin compound." Elenor reported, directly to the team leader, and by extension, the Shosa and Lucas.
If the rangers continued their current pace, they'd be there easily in an hour or two, depending on how fast and hard the Shosa wanted them to be.
