RP: YSS Ryūjō YSS Ryujo, Pre-Mission 2

Orbiting Planet Gamjie

The FTL drive on the YSS Ryujo shut down, and the ship returned to sub-light velocity in the star system around Gamjie, within the Gartagen Union's sector of space. The ship carefully maneuvered into an orbiting pattern.

Ryujo Bridge

The Comms officer sent a message to the planet's surface. "YSS Ryujo to Gartagen command. We have arrived at the rendezvous point. We await Authoritarian Dies' arrival."

Down on the planet, Dies would get notification from command that there was a Yamataian star ship in orbit waiting for him to board. He'd turn to collect all of his gear, getting his Edjia powered armor onto his slim form before grabbing the miscellaneous bags and boxes of gear that was going to go along with him including his sheshka, M-SAR and other weaponry. He had no idea what was in store for him but he expected it to be interesting nonetheless.

Errowyn stood by the T7 Raccoon shuttle waiting for the Gartagen Diplomat or some Gart V.I.P. She was there to over see the operation of the shuttle and crew to make sure the Gart VIP and stuff was secure for the trip to the YSS Ryujo. Her eyes scanned the field and taking in the various Gartagen space crafts. From her spot she missed out seeing what she was most interested in. The Gart Fighter crafts.

The co-pilot sat the helm ready to respond if there was an emergency. Two other crewmen were on stand by just inside the Shuttle to assist with the luggage of the Gart VIP. Which left her for the Meet-n-Greet.

Ryujo, Medbay

Zion was extremely grateful for his past engineering experience as he worked, tirelessly, on the AMTC. He sat, surrounded by datapads and various tools, and assisted by the ship's regular engineer, to update the machines' programming and treatment capabilities. A regular AMTC was capable of providing treatment for only regular Yamatain and Nepleslian species. That would most certainly not work on board this ship.

"Separa'Shan, Mishhuvurthyar, Cyborg, now a Gartagen..." Zion spoke to the engineer working alongside him. "And the only other medic has no experience with any of them. If something takes me away from this medbay and one of them needs medical attention, they're out of luck."

-"You don't have to explain it to me, Zion." The engineer had already become rather comfortable with the new doctor. Their common engineering knowledge gave them an easy bond. "I've been sending in suggestions to update the entire empire's systems for months now."

"Well at the very least, this system's going to have the necessary updates." He peeked out from beneath a control console. "And hopefully, it'll be done before we have to leave this system."

What Errowyn and the others would see arriving would be a rather short, barely five foot five Gartagen come walking up to the shuttle, no luggage of any kind other than a pair of gun cases, a uniform bag, what looked to be an armor case and across his back within the light powered armor that he was wearing, what appeared to be a Paragon produced Multisystem Armor Rifle. Otherwise known as the M-SAR, On his hip was a blade of a bronze-like metal and his armored head would turn to look Errowyn over before speaking. "Authoritarian Viras Mortanes Dies reporting as ordered." He'd give the customary salute to friendly forces as he looked the shuttle over and his own rank insignia of a sand colored rectangle containing two smaller black squares flanking a brownish square emblazoned on his armor.

Errowyn returned the salute with a bow of an equal to an equal. Once she verified his orders, she gave a soft smile. "Please come aboard and get settled." She slapped the hull to alert those inside to get ready to assist the Gart. "Authoritarian Dies, Mortanes. I'm Yumeoibito, Joto-Hie. Senior Pilot of this Auxiliary Craft.

She would let him board first as she gave another look around to see if any other passengers were needing a ride to the YSS Ryujo. But according to her manifest. There was just one. Him. She let the two helpers deal with Dies' Gear. When she got the signal that the Gart was settled and gear stowed. She boarded the T7 Raccoon and made her way through the shuttle. Giving everyone the once over to make sure they was secured.

The Co-pilot used the remote to raise and secure the loading ramp and hatch. He was increasing the output to the thrusters for take off as Errowyn settled in her seat, putting on the headset and began talking with the Control Tower alerting them of their departure and getting vector for the return to the Ryujo.

One of the crew near Dies, handed him a headset to put on, so he could communicate and hear over the increasing roar of the thrusters warming up for launch. Then realized that their passenger was in power armor.

Another glance back into the passenger/cargo area, Errowyn scanned everyone in there. The two Helpers gave her the thumbs up. She turned back, nodding to the Co-pilot, the Raccoon took off with a roar and quick acceleration to break free of the planets gravitational grip as they climbed for the stars and the rendezvous with the YSS Ryujo.

YSS Ryujo - Bridge

Notification was received that the shuttle had departed Gamjie en route to the Ryujo. The first officer left the bridge and went to the shuttle bay where they were intended to arrive to properly receive their new crew member.

Zion and the engineer had hit a bit of a roadblock in the reworking of the AMTC. The serpentine biology of their captain's race was easy enough to incorporate, as was the reptilian nature of their newly assigned crew member. Getting the machine to accept his modifications to what it was designed to do with cybernetic modifications was proving to be more difficult than he wanted; and, Mishhu DNA was even more difficult. He was going to need to have some time with Nocnimura in order to make it feasible for the automated system to work on her.

YSS Ryujo

Errowyn took care of the co-pilots duties in assisting the co-pilot as he flew the Raccoon back to the Ryujo to the preselected hanger it came from. Soon the lighting changed from deep space to the well lit hanger bay. Then the Raccoon rotated on the lift as it rose into Passenger / Maintenance Section.

She saw the Chusa waiting as the shuttle finally came to a halt and the seals were activated lock the lift in place as the co-pilot powered down the Raccoon and began post-flight checks.

"Look sharp!" Errowyn called back into the Cargo/ Passenger section of the Raccoon. "Chusa is watching. Authoritarian Dies, you're cleared to disembark." She hit the switch that lowered the ramp/hatch to the deck in a polite manner, since this was just a simple ferrying passenger(s) from one place to the next.

The two other crewmen of the Ryujo, stood up and began to unsecure Dies gear and crates and unload it for transport to where ever Dies wanted to go.

Errowyn quietly talked with her co-pilot as they both did the post flight checks.

Dies would incline his head to the pilot before standing as his armor whined slightly from the different gravity as the servos readjusted themselves before he stepped to the back of the shuttle and took his weapons back before hooking the weapon cases for his personal weapons on his armor and then striding off the shuttle and giving the officer that was there the standard RRF salute, his arm held out the side, right hand clenched into a fist with the knuckles facing towards the one being saluted as he spoke in a somewhat deep voice for a being of his stature.

"Authoritarian Dies reporting as ordered. Where should I be going next?"

After he asked that question his gear would start analyzing everything about the ship and the personnel onboard as he pondered the events that resulted in him ending up on this ship including infiltrating a pirate crew.

Shuttle Bay

The first officer returned the salute in kind and nodded in respect to the new Gartagen crew member.

"Welcome to the Ryujo, Authoritarian Dies. I'm your first officer. You'll be expected to report to the Medical Bay for an initial checkup and mental backup with Shoi Kohosei Zion. There should be enough time afterward for you to choose your cabin assignment before a ceremony the Captain has scheduled for later. Any questions?"

"Not at the moment, thank you"

Dies would reply as he pulled his salute back down before he started to head down to speak to the person in medical as he pulled up a map of the ship on his HUD.

Medical Bay

Sebastian had been on medical leave for some time now, due to what had happened on her last mission. She had accepted the leave for a week, but the amount of time given her was more than that. It was a whole month! She was getting antsy and so, because of that, she headed to the medical bay to pace back and forth as she waited to be seen by Zion. The tall, dark-skinned woman clearly looked agitated, though she never let it out towards any of those who tried to speak to her as she waited.

Medical Bay

Zion put the finishing touches on the AMTC's computer system and washed up before coming back out to talk with the pair of crewmen in the bay. He addressed Dies, first. He greeted the Gartagen with a smile. "Authoritarian Viras Mortanes Dies, I presume? You can call me Zion. I've just updated the ship's Autonomous Medical Treatment Center to include Gartagen physiology. It's programmed and ready for your examination. The ATU will take care of the initial portion, move you to the ANU, and you should be done. Just have a seat over there."

He pointed to the ATU. "If you have any questions, Tora will be able to assist you."

After making sure Dies was taken care of, Zion went over to Sebastain.

"I doubt I have to guess why you're here." He gestured to one of the exam rooms. "Let's see what we can do.

Medical Bay

Sebastian paused in her pacing as she looked over at Zion when he emerged. She glanced briefly at the newcomer and then nodded to the head medical officer. Walking into the exam room he indicated, she sat on the bench-like bed and huffed, "How soon can I get back to duty?"

Medical Bay

Dies would nod slightly as he shifted to remove his powered armor and set it in the side of the medical bay before going to where the doctor had directed as he spoke. "Thank you Zion, Dies is fine with me as well. I'll let you or Tora know if I have any questions or issues."

Hanger Bay 5

Errowyn moved through various corridors and Hanger bays where her fighter wing fighters were stored. She check with the Deck chiefs of the craft to keep up on the conditions of the fighters. Covertly checking up on the pilots, seeing how long they spent with their craft, learning the quirks and nuances of their assigned crafts.

She reached Hanger 5 where Nocnimura had her craft next to hers. She move to '5' and began her daily routine with her Kawarime. She was behind schedule as she had to make the shuttle run to pick up Dies. She began with the visual exterior rounds of her craft, taking her time to peek into access panels she could access.

Medical Bay

The procedure Dies had to undergo was fully automated, and was quickly completed without incident. Tora signed off once it was complete and told Dies where to find the crew cabins.

Zion examined Sebastian and was impressed with her recovery, both mentally and physically. He signed off on her returning to work, making a corny joke about being allowed to interact with another Nepleslian without having to need a medical procedure.

Medical Bay

Sebastian breathed a small sigh of relief as she was allowed back to work. At the corny joke, however, the dark-skinned warrior simply arched a brow before heading out. Once out of sight, however, and after checking to make sure the corridor was empty, her features relaxed and she allowed a small smile to appear.

Armory

Sebastian walked into the armory, where she was better suited for her skills. Though she could most likely work on the fighters, she had opted to be in here where she didn't have to interact with others too much. She could just work on the suits that the fighters wore and keep them up to speed as well as their weapons. After giving a nod to the desk clerk that checked in and out the various equipment, she got to work.

Medical Bay

Dies would nod to Tora before rising and heading for the armory, he felt that it would be wise to check over his gear and clean and rack his power armor before heading to a cabin.

Armory

Dies's armor would clunk slightly as he walked into the armory, a few minutes after Sebastian did. His armor would peel open at the back and he'd step back out of it. His tendriled head turning first this way and then the other as he grabbed his person weapons and strapped them on, grabbing the M-SAR from the back of his armor and settling down to start going over it as he set up diagnostics to be run on his suit.

Hangar bay 5

Nocnimura had been hard at work since the moment she'd been assigned her team. The simulator log read her hours as being nearly double that of the next closest of her fellow Santo Hei pilots, which just so happened to be her wingman. She'd made sure the program she ran was specifically designed for their exact crafts, not just their same model number.

At the moment Errowyn came to catch up on her work, however, the Nightmare pilot was going over the real life version of her own craft with a fine-tooth comb, making it a point to not only inspect, but also to memorize every last detail of the machine. The more she knew about the systems that could save her life, the greater chance that they would.
