"Can always take the ship up out of the atmosphere and bombard it from orbit" Natsumi suggested. "It's the only way to be sure" she added
This made me laugh.

I'm going to get you some meat for your lighthouse posts that you can build into them:
  • The lighthouse is abandoned and there's nobody alive on it.
  • There are also no corpses to be found, although there is some blood and it appears the blood has been mostly licked up.
  • Every piece of clothing has been taken/stolen
  • Every item of food has been taken/stolen.
  • There is Rixxikor feces in the food supply areas.
  • There are several Rixxikor eggs planted in the beds and in various nooks and crannies around the station.

I would love to see that happen on here, do you have a gun and a flamethrower? all you need to do is tape them together and you have Ripley's gun to kill all the bugs that are around.

Ah, that scene brings back memories... all for torching those eggs!

On that note, Wes, what should Umeshu be focusing on now? Shall I return to the camp and aid with the damages, or is there a situation from the air that needs dealing with still?

@Rizzo You need to make sure that with in your post you name your character. There are so many players now in the Eucharis, along with the other players I interact with on other plots, I don't remember who's character is who's. On top of that it is required by plot, and I think, site rules.

I think she should probably return to the ship for now. Alternatively she could get more info on the shuttles that the Rixxikor have been using to try to find out more about the ships that shot us up, although this could be dangerous as they've recently unloaded lots of missile-launcher-wielding Rixxikor and could be armed themselves. Note: these are not in the Eucharis' immediate area.

Aye, that's exactly what I was concerned over. I didn't want to chase something with no backup -- Umeshu is not particularly headstrong, and is waiting for planetary assault troops to come first. I was more concerned if the transport shuttles were in any way using the Lighthouse, but from what you typed before and now it appears that it was just a grab-n-go type of thing they did and are not using it for anything serious... at least I did post doing some extended area reconnaissance, so we know we have a "safe zone" of control established around the ship's site.

So, what exactly is wrong in the Power Distribution room? I know the foam needs to be cleaned up, and there's probably fire damage, but what's broken, and how can it be fixed?

Note: There needs to be a wiki page with detailed instructions on how to do maintenance. I can never tell if there's a strict procedure that needs to be RP'd out, or if you can just use buzz-words such as "Jax fumbled around with the wiring for a bit, and then climbed back up to his feet, soldering iron still hot from use.", and then call whatever it was fixed.

Mainly wiring and the large capacitors that hold huge amounts of power in there might be damaged. At least one of them was on fire and might have melted. It can be fixed by replacing the cables and capacitors (maybe a spare capacitor in the cargo bay?).

I agree with the maintenance instructions idea completely. In the meantime, I think a lot of issues can be solved with parts replacement, though.

I just checked the inventory, and it looks like we're fresh out of capacitors! So I guess I'll just have to wait on the reinforcements to bring in another.

Okay. Don't forget, the supply people need to gather a list of parts to order so you can add that to your post as he says what he wants them to have delivered.

Hey, in order to work with the capacitors, we'd have to cut off all electronics onboard the ship, right? Seems pretty common sense, but I wanted to make sure in order to be technically correct.
