Whatever happens with Candon's Lorath bomb and the consequences IC, just gotta say you're super creative with how you have him do unconventional "spy stuff." You're like the D&D player who has his wizard use non-combat spells to kill enemies. Or MacGyver.

I was actually considering that at one point but then thought about how he'd transport it without the risk of damaging it. My final idea looked kinda like the Fatman from Fallout 3 or an aircraft carrier's catapult.

Just saw this, time to chime in.

L-Mark-Two shells are designed for anti-emplacement and anti-starship usage, and are intended to allow the L-Mark-Two to perform comparably to the anti-starship turrets used by Star Army of Yamatai vessels. By this reasoning, the 9kg of antimatter material found in a L-Mark-Two slug is comparably tame for the usage, with damage potential largely being linked to acceleration and blast direction. While the damage is substantial, draw-backs originate from ammo capacity and speed limitation.

EDIT: Further note, the SAoY already has antimatter shells in its inventory, those used in their shoulder cannons. M'Cel launchers are designed to be compatible to those shells with the use of an easy to insert modification to the barrel, as indicated in the wiki article.

EDIT2: Also forgot to mention, the original ammunition manifest was written back when we were only stressing the diameter of a round, as opposed to also including the length. It should be noted that the L-Mark-Two round was intended to be longer than grenade-launcher style 40mm, for the L-Mark-Two its meant to be the dimensions intended for 40mm artillery pieces, with a length of somewhere in the ballpark of 300-400mm

Part of the reason I went with non-Yamataian equipment is because the character using it is a SAINT operative who wants to have untraceable equipment ready in the event a situation calls for it. So the 30 mm Yamataian round would work but he prefers the safety of plausible deniability at a moments notice. It's part of the reason he carries both his NSP and an HHG while on duty.

Perhaps the measurements of our site's antimatter munitions has simply been set to higher than realistic estimations. These articles could always be edited with more appropriate amounts of antimatter.

In any situation requiring clandestine operations and plausible deniability, it is frequently the case that something that makes a loud 'bang' is not recommended. Usually, the big explosions are reserved to field ops in which there is little need to worry over tiny matters of 'who shot who?' and 'why?'. As someone who plays a SAINT operative, one with a splendid record for maiming and killing, I can safely state that the standard Yamataian armament is suitable to the task of effectively neutralizing hard targets in a full-on engagement. When a need arises for clandestine neutralization of hard targets, I would recommend something far less conspicuous than an antimatter warhead, usually a plasma munition, directed conventional explosive, or a kinetic munition focused on delivering damage through kinetic force as opposed to the use of an explosive reaction.

tl;dr version: Use the Yamataian munitions, it won't be a problem, especially since their manufacturers also sell to civilian operations and paramilitary groups.
