Sakura II Discussion (formerly A THOUGHT Experiment)

Yai gave Ren a promotion and a chance to leave active duty. She can find another ship, take a desk job so the character is still doing something even if not played, or enter civilian life. She's welcome to return later if she wants.
 
Nice post. On my end, I'm trying to get an interview done and see if I can fill the ship's pilot slot. It'd fit in really well if I can get that done before my next post, but running into a few hurdles. Before that, it was IRL stuff that was a hangup.

Life Events - Basement flooded and Grandma death preparations

So you know, I am in the midst of two dilemmas. First is the need to remove everything from Grandma's apartment and preparing for her imminent death, and the second is the need to clear out and redo the basement due to recent flooding. Both hit at the same time, so it's kind of rough right now...

Thinking about it further, I have been tempted to put my Nepleslian, Menelik Berhane, on the Sakura II rather than the Kaiyo II, in light of his certain set of skills and background in being on a ship full of tinkerers and mad geniuses, affable nature, and having been tutored in mecha piloting by a Lorath Ace.
