SchererSoban stepping down as staff.

As you may gather from the title the content of this post I will be stepping down from Staff. I thought a post was owned to the wonderful community here and I didn't want a lot of idle comments or conjecture happening. Instead I thought I let the community know here why I'm stepping down and to leave on a positive note. As any one would know I love it here and I'd rather keep things positive especially with how the world is these days.

This year is a important year for me since it marks 24 years being in the wonderful hobby of Warhammer and also being involved in a lot of roleplaying communities and events. In that time I have had the luck and utter privilege to run events as well as be involved heavily with my local community. I also lucked out and was able to be part of even game testing and professional work in that time. To say I'm utterly proud of things i've worked on is a understatement and I've always striven to bring the best where ever I go. My motto is passion brings about passion and if you bring passion to your work with great vibes other people will see that and also bring their passion.

That motto is one thing that has stuck with me in my time and I also try to live with that. Now when I joined staff I had grand ambitions and goals in mind. I think any one who wants to become staff or involved in the ongoing creative process as something as large as Sarp have these goals in mind. I mean we have a wonderful community filled with a passionate community so I think you do have to think large when you want to be here in a large role. Though I hate to also admit I didn't complete those goals but there is a good reason.

When I joined staff I also stepped down from local events, since I think you should dedicate your self into any passion project. I won't say I regret stepping down from it locally but I do miss it. I also have a yearning for working on a few projects I have pushed off in the years and I feel this would be a good time to start. Though in order to do that it will be hard to balance Sarp goals with personal goals.

So in order to do that and also to make sure Sarp gets the best possible result i'll be stepping down here as Staff. Though a little sad to do, its honestly what is best for all of us. I don't think me being distracted and more focused elsewhere is good for the community. Though this won't be the last of me here.

I still intend to be part of the community as a player and I hope I will keep making wonderful stories here with the site. To the person who will one day join staff to replace me my advice is balance life with passion and you can do anything you set your mind to. To my fellow staff thank you for the time we got to work together on some fun content planning and I look forward to what you all do next to move us forward. Lastly to the community that I've have the distinct honor of being staff for thank you for putting up with me and I look forward to all the passion you bring.

So onto the next chapter my friends and I hope the next chapter keeps being a fun one.

Sincerely,
Scherer Soban.

Schere you have been a great person to rise to the ranks as staff, and I am looking forward to continued rping with you as another player. Passions are awesome to have so I am fully in support of you doing what you wish to and need to.

I've told you before but I want to publicly say it here too: You've been a great help and I appreciate the time you spent and effort you made as a Star Army staffer. You've been a big help and I am very grateful that I got to work with you keeping the site running. Thank you!

Thank you Wes, again thank you for letting me be part of a wonderful experience :)

It's confusingly hard to say how much I'll miss you when you'll still be here, but I think you know how I feel so I won't try toooo hard

You are a quick study of admin duties, a compassionate communicator and mediator, and a great community staff member. I am happy you will continue to be the excellent member of sarp you have been throughout <3
