Star Army: Secrets of Yamatai

Well, aside from Jenn's retirement, I haven't been on much because I am desperately trying to clean my room. And yes, it is taking days! I wish I could meet all of you wonderful people in person.

Aside from that, the only other thing I've been doing is rekindling my friendship with my friend Justin. Friends are all we have sometimes and are invaluable. If anyone needs any help or would like to JP, just post on the boards and we'll plan a time. I'm happy to RP, I just need to know in advance for the time being.

...and it is much appreciated. It's only been a week since I've joined, but I have yet to participate in any role-play thus far. I'm patient, but I also know that this kind of game is what you make of it.

Which brings me to where I am now... I feel kind of awkward asking about setting up a role-play session when I have zero experience and realize that my character is purely temporary until I get a feel for this community and the fictional universe it resides in.

I wonder if there are new players, just like me, who are wet behind the ears when it comes to this sort of gaming experience. Maybe all the rookies could get together under the guidance of a veteran and try our hand at an inconsequential role-play/Q&A session geared towards learning and fun? Maybe I'm the only rookie who feels this way. If that is the case, I'll most likely bide my time until the community role-play picks up again.

The Next JP...

Hey guys. I have some free time coming up this Sunday and Monday (Labor Day in the US). It will probably be the last free days for me for a while, so who's up for a JP? My main char is stuck in the Celia, but I can always write up a new char. We can get the SoY plot going again.

I'm on the west coast though, and I insist on waking up late. So this will have to be fairly late in the evening for Wes.

Oh yeah. Derran mentioned that he might continue on with the Sentinel plot some time this week. I'll be busy with school, but maybe we can work something out, like a chained JP or something. Stay tuned.
 
Hmm. We might have trouble getting anything done without Wes. But I'm gonna show up on YIM anyway later today (around 6 PM EST), after I get some sleep.

I suppose that's an informal way of not wanting to continue in RP. That really was a REALLY bad situation. What happened to Yuuko btw? I still think someone shoulda nuked the joint once the civilians were out. I guess the FC police would handle that one.
 
Tyler, his first character was one he didn't like and was just using to get the hang of the RP and then he'd kill him off. So that's what happened. As for Yuuko, she likely went back to her ship.

I'll need one more SP before inserting Tommy into the SoY plot. So I can't make this Friday's JP.

School projects are starting to pick up steam. But a guy still needs a creative outlet. I have always said that schoolwork comes first, but I'll try not to disappear completely. :p

Ugh. 8 AM lecture tomorrow. Now that's inhumane. Somebody call Amnesty International. X_X
