RP: YSS Genesis [Aside] Something to do.

"Well, considering artifacts from before the empire are rather rare, and ones in pristine condition like these are even more so, A reasonable price is probably 2,500 KS. Which, you can buy an entire shuttle for, but I think I like your taste better. Shuttles are just tools, Something like these swords are far more than that." the young man winked, giving Yuril a flattering smile, as he took the swords back and rested his hands on the table.
"Take as much time as you want deciding, there's no reason for there to be any pressure over it."

Shizuka, for her part, had somehow managed to disappear from view, she had discovered another rack of uniforms behind the first one, and could be heard sorting though it, the occasional "Oooh!" emanating from behind the wall of clothing.

The Nito Hei rubbed her chin thoughtfully, thinking of anything she had to compare it to but... nothing was really popping into mind. She wasn't exactly lacking in funds, but at the same time...

"No pressure... lemme mull it over a few moments. Thanks mister!" replied Tsukade happily, strolling off to find her new neko friend.

Whom, as it happened to be, was looking through clothes. Yuril cracked a smile as she carefully poked the girl on the shoulder to get her attention.

"Find anything nice? If you wanted to go clothes shopping, wouldn't be a boutique be a better place?" joked Tsukade, "I'm thinking of buying some swords myself... kind of pricey, I think, but they look pretty good..."

Shizuka turned around with a swiftness, which might be enough to surprise Yuril, clutching in her hand an old Uniform- it was an old dress white Star Army officer's uniform, and looked to be about her size. She seemed to be rather happy with this discovery.
"I did in fact find something nice, but I don't think that the boutique or clothing stores would have one of these!" the Neko brandished the outfit, having taken quite a shining to it.
"I really like it, especially since we can't get these anymore! Not that I'm an officer anyway, but still! it's such a nice outfit...."

Tsukade gave the dress an apprising eye - it did look very nice, although it struck her as odd that a curio shop had something an officer would wear laying around...

"Doesn't look too bad at all! And, as luck would have it, seems it'd fit you like a glove, eh?" commented Yuril with a smile, "Perhaps you could ask the owner if you could try it on? Although... I wonder if that's appropriate... it does look like it'd look really nice though... wonder how he got hold of it."

"You think I should try it on? Shizuka asked Yuril, Holding it up to herself again as if to make sure that it did indeed seem to be the right size. There seemed to be a gleam in her eyes as if the thought of doing such was one that made the Neko very happy. "I mean, this isn't just like, normal clothing or anything, so...."

But the shopkeeper had overheard their conversation. "You're free to head to the fitting rooms in the back and try it on, if you want" he confirmed, again with a smile. Shizuka practically sqee'd.
"Ah, you don't mind if I go in, do you, Yuril? I don't want to just leave you alone or anything."

Yuril gave the fellow neko an appraising eye, looking her up and down, then looking at the dress, attempting to visualize it as best she could. It wasn't a skill she was particularly good at - she was a pretty decent drawer, if she had to say so herself, but that didn't particularly translate into being good at imagining someone in clothing they weren't wearing.

When questioned, Tsukade offered Shizuko a warm smile, "Sure, go right ahead, I need to mull my thoughts over for a few moments anyway." the silver-haired neko paused, then leaned forward and whispered quietly, "Need me to go with you and help?" she said in a joking tone, a grin crawling onto her face.

"Pfft." Shizuka responded, blowing a raspberry at Yuril. "I'm three years old, I know how to dress myself, sheesh!" she continued, somewhat jokingly. "Well, then I suppose maybe you're just being shy about Mister smiley over there... hehehe.." With that little quip, the other Neko made her way to the dressing rooms, and locked herself into the stall, leaving Yuril alone with the store's proprietor.

Tsukade laughed and shoo'd the younger neko away playfully.

"Alright, alright missy, go have fun trying it on and dazzle me with it when you're done!"

With Shizuko now in the dressing room, the Nito Hei was alone with the shop's proprietor and her thoughts went back to the swords. They had quite the pricetag attached to them, but on the other hand... they were really nice, and of some really exceptional make.

She wasn't particularly starved for money either, so maybe she could treat herself to something nice... a few mental cogs clicked into place, and the neko's mind was made up.

"Ya know what mister," announced the silver-haired neko, striding back up to the counter, "I'll take you up on that offer. I always liked to gamble a bit, so why not take one with some really awesome looking things, right?"

"Well, I wouldn't call it gambling, but rather catering to impeccable taste. I doubt you will find another set like this, especially not in this condition." The shop owner placed a hand on the set, patting it gently in a fond sort of manner, before picking up the swords and their stand, and moving them over toward the register. "Alright. May I see your KS card, so that we may finish this transaction?"

"Impeccable taste huh?" thought the neko aloud, "I suppose if you want to put it that way. And well, if I do find another one just like it, I know where you work." teased Yuril with a laugh.

The soldier withdrew her rarely used KS card and handed it over to the shop owner, "Had those swords for long? I can't imagine too many people come in here looking to buy something like that."

"These swords have been here a while. Usually, people come in here and buy smaller trinkets, or the clothing that we sell. The antiques in the display case do not move often, usually only to serious collectors who know what it actually is they are looking at." the man explained as he took the KS card. "My first concern, however, is making sure people get what they want. And, since you seem to want this very much, I think, maybe, I'll give you a little discount." The man entered something into the register, then swiped Yuril's card- on the keypad for payment authorization, she noticed that the shopkeeper had taken off 250 KS from the price, meaning he was only charging 2250 KS. He winked at her as he handed the card back and waited for her to enter her authorization on the purchase.

Tsukade nodded her head, "I see, I suppose that makes sense. Antiques are probably not on everyone's shopping list on a daily basis. I'll be sure to take good care of them, at least I don't have to worry about damaging them... they look nice, but I think I'll just need to keep them for personal practice and display."

The neko took her card back and authorized the purchase, glancing towards the changing rooms.

"Wonder what's takin' her so long... ah, right, thank you very much mister."

"What's taking who so long?" Shizuka asked, as she appeared from the changing rooms, wearing the white formal dress uniform, and looking rather like she belonged in it.

"I think I'll take it." she declared, fishing a KS card out of a pocket buried in the bundle of her normal uniform, and handing it over to the proprietor. "Ahh, looks like you got the swords. So, how do I look?"

Yuril nearly jumped as Shizuko's appearance surprised her - she didn't hear a single sound. Maybe she was too focused on admiring the swords she had purchased.

And now she was a bit too busy admiring the other neko in the dress. It did look really good on her, and she wasn't even all that much of a clothing knowledgeable person. Taking a half second to compose herself, she nodded in approval at Shizuko.

"You look really good! Lovely? Maybe that's the right word... maybe even sexy," the silver-haired neko laughed, "it just... looks really good. I'm not doing good at putting a good word to it, am I? Ahahaha..."

Tsukade tugged nervously at her collar, "But erm, yes, yeah I did get them. They look nice, eh? Not as good as you're looking right now though, I'll admit."

Shizuka spun, seeming very pleased with the awkward praise given by Yuril. Her shoulder-length pink hair flowed about as she did so, and she gave a smile, definitely enjoying herself. "Yes, this will definitely be mine." she said in a singsong voice, practically dancing over to the register in a graceful way to key her payment authorization, not even looking at the price.

"Thank you, sir!" she thanked the proprietor, and grabbed Yuril's free hand, pulling her gently to the door. "Let's go find the others! show them what we got!"

"Well, like I said Shizuka it does look very, very good on you. Maybe it was made, just for you eh?" commented Tsukade with a playful grin, watching the younger neko spin.

Before she realized it, she was even being pulled out of the store, managing a quick wave at the owner before allowing herself to be dragged off, "Thanks again mister, best of luck with business for the day!"

With that, they were off! Yuril with her new-bought swords carefully clutched in one of her hands, she began to think of how she'd exactly carry them around, maybe if she had like a loose belt, she could tuck them into it or something...

"Is it even time for us to meet them yet? We want to make sure they've had plenty of time for themselves too, right? I know you're eager to go show yourself off in that new dress though."

"We'll just go find them in the clothes store. I wanna surprise them." Shizuka answered, looking determined as she dragged Yuril from one side of the mall to the other. "Why? You got something else you want to do?" the younger Neko asked, stopping in front of the store, suddenly, and turning to Yuril.

Tsukade scratched her cheek sheepishly, "Not really, no... I was just mainly looking for a set of swords really, and I found some. Perhaps, overly fancy, but they look nice, so who am I to complain, eh?"

"Well, shall we go surprise your friends? Then we can go check out the park! Oh right, we need to make sure to see the weather schedule..."

It turned out, they didn't have to go looking, as the trio they were trying to reach suddenly walked out of the shop's front doors, one of them grabbing his communicator to call them, but putting it away as he noticed Yuril and Shizuka. Dick was the first one to make a sound, Wolf-whistling at Shizuka's new outfit, which illicited quite a bit of a blush from the Neko, who tried suddenly to hide behind Yuril.

"Aww, don't be a dick, Dick" Tom said, chuckling. "I think that might be a bit more than she was looking for. I think you look Great Shizuka," the man kicked the distracted Neko Saito, causing her to start, dropping the bag of shopping she had been fussing with and looking up at Shizuka.

"Ooh, Yeah. That looks great. Just don't let the Taisa see it, She'll think you're trying to steal her job!" Saito chuckled a bit, picking up her bag and moving over to Yuril and Shizuka. "Ahh, and it looks like you got yourself something fancy, too, a nice shiny set of swords, Eh?"

The silver-haired chuckled and flashed a smile to the trio as she spotted them, which then turned into a grin as her shy neko friend hid behind her. It was rather cute, and the dress was very, very nice indeed. She'd probably wolf-whistle herself if she had seen it at this point, or well, ever had done such a thing.

"Ah, yeah I did! Was quite the find, didn't think you could find something like this just laying around a station shop like that." said Yuril, presenting the swords proudly, "Expensive. But very nice, so I guess I can't complain. Found some good things, I trust?"
