RP: Fort Ready Class 1

Niether Kumiko nor Krasus were successful in their endeavours, Krasus' kick missing completely, Kumiko's blows being knocked out of the way. This did, however, leave both of them rather close to each other and ready for another attack.

Yuril's knee connected square with the center of Devonus' chest. The most likely astonished Yamataian could feel as all the air rushed out from his lungs, causing him to instinctively let go and grab at his chest, gasping for breath.
 
As Yoroko walked with Noboru back to the barracks she struck up a conversation with him. "Ne, Noboru. Gomen nasai." as Yoroko said this she stopped and bowed to Noboru, "I was more than a little upset at the time, can you forgive me?" she asked.
 
Kumiko instantly continued her attack, bringing a round house kick in the dropping low with her arms up to block.
 
Krasus saw his opening, Jumped back, and kicked at the base of the leg trying to round house him.
He was attempting to stop the kick and do some damage as well.
 
"Sorry? If anyone's to blame, it's me." Noboru said, popping the spare lens into his goggles. He remained slightly entertained by the hemosynth tank.
 
Krasus was the faster of the two, this time, and Kumiko had made the mistake of blocking high when she should have blocked low. Krasus was able to stop the kick and mess with Kumiko's balance quite a bit.
 
Krasus took his advantage with two quick jabs followed up by a kick, going for speed to put her down onto the ground.
If I can put her on the ground then I can win. He thought, gritting his teeth in concentration.
 
Kumiko attempted to steady herself with her gravity manipulation abilities, also lightening the gravity on her arms so she could block faster, ducking and weaving when possible, and blocking away from her body when not. She then responded with two quick punches.
 
Kiyoshi was shocked by the cloud of blood that appeared on Kai's face. "Shit! Are you o-"

Whack. Kiyoshi did not expect a hit from his opponent after what happened and spun, landing face first on the ground. He pulled himself up and whipped the dirt off his face. "Woah, hold on Kai. I think this fight is over. You want to head to the medical wing and get that looked at?"
 
The two combatants came up even, blocking everything that each threw at the other. obviously, from some combination of skill and genetic engineering, the two were about on par with each other. Soon, however, the two would tire themselves out uselessly so it would be better for them to stop.

"Huh... Oh, yeah.. probabl-Ahh.." Kai said, wincing and grabbing at his face. Apparently talking hurt the shattered bones in his face. So, instead of talking, he sent a Telepathic message "Yannow.. that may actually be a good idea... and next time, don't cheat by grabbing two swords, or I won't hold back."
 
Krasus felt the tension building in him, gritting his teeth harder, he kicked repeatedly and forcefully, in one spot, throwing a feint with his fist to distract her from the first and third kicks.
 
Yoroko paused for a second, "Then, should we get going?" she asked leading Noboru on the way back. After walking for a bit she stopped again, "Anou, would it be okay if I got your mail address?" Yoroko blushed slightly as she asked, after all it wasn't often she asked for someone's contact information. "I would kinda like to stay in communication with you Noboru-san, and I doubt we will be assigned to the same ship..." Yoroko's voice trailed off at the end of the sentence.
 
"Why, what ship were you thinking about joining? I was going for the Fifth Ex-Eff." Noboru said, taking out a sheet of paper and a small piece of graphite and scribbling his address onto it.

"You never know."
 
"I don't know what fleet I will be joining, but there are several of them, and they are all huge." Yoroko said. "But, like you said, you never know." she replied as she took his address, neatly folded it, and placed it in her pocket. "We should probably get back to the barracks." Yoroko said.
 
Kumiko, preparing for a counter attack, realized that her and Krasus were too evenly matched for either of them to gain much of an advantage. Based off of this, she attempted to counter his moves as accurately and well as she could, using her gravity manipulation as necessary. Following this, she struck hard and fast with all of her strength straight for his chest, planning to pull the punch at the last second, and hopefully either force his submission or both of their abilities would be exhausted.
 
"Yeah, let's go." Noboru cracked his knuckles and walked off towards the barracks. He took a lungful of some of the dew-filled, early morning air. This was the time of day where he felt alive, and it felt good.
 
Once again, Krasus and Kumiko came up even, but this time they both got each other. the force that they both put behind their final attacks was astounding. Krasus' kicks knocked Kumiko enough that her punch couldn't be stopped, and she flew forward with all her strength, punching Krasus in the chest so hard he would lose all his breath and begin to spit up a bit of blood. Kumiko got Krasus' feint punch straight to the face, where both the hand and her jaw were broken. Neither would be able to fight any longer, and the amount of blood coming out of both their mouths was was even enough to catch Kai's attention.

Kai, holding his nose, watched this unfold, and quickly ran over, telepathically asking both of them "Holy crap, Are you guys allright?" remembering his own injury, he sent "Okay, NOW we have to get to the med wing" to the two injured classmates and Kiyoshi.
 
Krasus coughed, shaking his head and standing shakily on his feet for a moment.
He helped Kumiko steady herself with his other arm, wincing at the unintended damage he had caused on both of them.
"Are you okay Kumiko?!" He sent, feeling responsible for it all.
I gotta watch out. I can't lose myself like that again. He thought to himself.
 
...Shit. That was the only thought that came to Kiyoshi's mind seeing two more of his recruits, no friends, hurt. After a few seconds his thoughts caught up to him and he rushed to help escort the three to the med wing.

Upon arrival, the same nurse that assisted Noboru came and found the group of four, with over half of them with serious but not life-threatening injuries. She slapped her hand on her head in an annoyed fashion and sighed. "See if you guys ever get free time again..." She helped carry the three to hemosynthetic tanks and Kiyoshi took a seat in the waiting room. Something tells me this was not the best thing we've ever done, he thought.
 
Kumiko grinned a bit, even though she was in pain. "Well, I wasn't expectin' that one to happen, but I'll be fine very soon. Thanks Kiyoshi" She then was helped down to the med wing, where the nurses reactions put her in an even better mood. She then noticed that Kiyoshi seemed a bit down. "Hey, Kiyoshi, what's the matter? If it's about me, I'm fine, and I think the others are too. I know that me and Krasus weren't expecting that to happen, but that was the fun part."
