As Claire entered the final car, Deacon had stepped to follow her. He had been standing just inside and to the side of the doorway and didn't see the tram come up behind them.
When the two slammed together, Deacon was knocked off his feet and slammed shoulderhump first into the control panel. Everything around him was swirling and splintering in color, but he managed to get onto his back and look up at Claire. Slowly raising his hand, he gave her a thumbs up before letting it fall back down onto his chest.
"Deacon, still here." He breathily whispered out, wincing at the pain radiating from his upper body. "May need to see a medic though, we Kohanians don't fly so good."
