Eriko opened a private channel to Caine and responded to his request; even as she managed the rest of the Fifth's forces and monitered the cleanup.

“That will be up to the YC-28’s CO. Message them and see if you can get away with the Sylph Packs or if you’ll need Fold Boosters for the operation. Careful out there, Caine – they’re SAINT. Our escorts are going to be watching them, but tread lightly all the same. Too many things can go wrong.

After finishing with Caine, Eriko switched over to Yaichiro's line: Yaichiro? The 17th is needed out of system. The pilots assigned to the squadrdon will be going as well - the Asuka's included. They'll be back soon enough, but you'll need to do without them for a bit longer.

Caine responded in acknowledgement to what Eriko said as he landed in the armor bay of the Hotaru to get a rearmament of missiles. He'd stay in it for a moment and opened a com to the YC-28. "Ionoche-Chui, CO of teh 17th here. I need to inquest as to the method of transport. Will we need the sylph packs or fold boosters to accompany you or will you provide transport aboard your ship?"

"As good as I can be with my right side chewed up. I don't even dare open this armor untill medics get here. Out of ammo, and my blade broke on the last attack. We got luck and skill up in here, huh Kishou-chan?" Ichiro replied, a smile heard on his voice. "Maybe once this is all said and done, I'll take you to dinner or something, my treat. Just for a change of pace, eh?"

With Yuriko recalling the power armor wing, the Asamoya slowly made its way back towards Hotaru, for a little R&R, and repairs. The Honor Guard Wing fell into formation about the Asamoya, acting as an escort back into the hangar bay. Yuriko rose from the command chair, disengaging herself from the SPINE interface, and sighed. The Shoi rubbed the bridge of her nose, wanting to unwind a little.

"Acknowledged. All active Asuka Power Armor are to assist the 17th. I have a question in that regard however...one of my soldiers attacked allies in confusion and I was forced to relieve him of Power Armor Combat Duty, pending remedial training. Do these orders extend to him as well?"

Yaichiro asked, wondering if Caine would be saddled with Noboru-Hei after all...

"Ionoche-Chui of the 17th Wing, this is Helen Klein of the SAINT ship YC-28. Your wing, and the other accompanying vessels will be moved to our destination through use of the YC-28's hyperfold." Helen replied as she skimmed along the hull of her own ship, checking over the massive exterior for any SMX 'hitch-hikers'.

There was a moment of silent static on Yaichrio’s comm as Eriko brought up Noboru’s service record and made an on-the-spot judgement call. For a first sortie, the ‘pilot’ had demonstrated a complete inability to use his AIES to identify friend or foe, a shocking lack of discipline when it came to the actually following orders (or even waiting for them…) in addition to pissing off the CO of the armour squad he would end up flying with if she said 'yes'.

“….I think not, Yaichiro-san. Taking everything into…account, it would be best if he stayed away from an elite armour wing until he has more practical experience. That is, until he learns what he should’ve have learnt in basic. I’m sorry, but you’ll have to keep him with you for now. Let him do some lower key assignments first...you have clean-up duty don't you? That should be plenty fine.”

Kishou floated over to Ichiro while her armour got replaced; a holographic uniform settling over her bare skin. “Heee…luck and skill to spare, Ichiro-kun – we’re the best after all! But will you be alright? I mean, I’m all for food but that does look pretty serious.” At this point she was bending over and near enough prodded the warped metal on his side – even as the gash on her face visibly began to close.

It was one of those Yamatain/Neko differences. Not only would Ichiro heal slower than she did, he – unlike her – actually had vital organs down there that would make his life very unpleasant if any of them were actually damaged. To be honest, Kishou couldn’t say if he was fine, or if his armour was the only thing keeping him upright. She poked the damage again.

"All I need is to get out of this, and into a Synthtank. I may not heal as fast as you, Kishou-chan, but that doesn't mean I can't take a beating." he said, getting his helmet off with one hand, with a bit of a struggle. "Now...all I have to do is float over to the med area, and all should be fine....I'm just not sure how bad off I am...I know my arm probably needs to be fixed up, and I've probably got a couple of broken ribs, but the adrenaline in my system is keeping me from feeling it, and I'd like to try to get to medbay before that goes away." he said, smiling slightly and floating down towards the medical area as fast as he could.
