RP: IPG [IPG Operators] Breaking Blood Explosion Extraordinaire!

"Adequately. I'll be serving as a designated marksman for the duration of the operation, unless you are in need of a proper sniper." Cyrene replied in a rather emotionless manner, setting the black case at her feet. I wonder if my name makes anything of a difference to him... She thought to herself, thumbing the edge of one of the 4 stiletto daggers held in her left hand.

"I'll fit any role you offer me, though my training with explosives is somewhat lackluster. You may find me to be surprisingly durable for my size, as well." She added, eying the unusually friendly recruit curiously.
 
"Well, Lenz is our sniper. We have yet to truly decide on our roles save for Lenz however. But, judging from our respective equipment, we can fill a multitude of roles." He said tapping his chin thoughtfully before looking to Chandler. "Good, good, I see you're all set, and ready to go. Then if we are all here, I do believe we can further discuss, and fill our respective roles while we are in route to our transport, and target." Alaster added as he tugged, and tightend his vest, and belt. Making sure his weaponry was secure, and easily accessible. The Novacorp vial however he kept at his hip within easy drawing distance right by his covert ops pistol.

"Alright everyone, please follow me with your permission sir?" Alaster asked, looking to Flins for final conformation. The Initiate stood straight, and at attention as he addressed the larger man.
 
Chandler looked content, but that look quickly changed to mortification and shock.

"Shit! Hold on a second, sir. Gotta handle something." With that, he took a black cloth backpack, probably a modified civilian pack, that was hanging on the wall, empty. He jammed three anti-infantry mines and two blocks of plastic explosives into said pack, and threw the pack on over his load-bearing harness.

"Now i'm ready."
 
Lenz adjusted his gear on his belt still looking rather miffed. He tried to keep his attention away from the "little" girl who reminded him of Mei as he pulled his pack holding his sniper rifle over his shoulder and moved towards the door. Time was short and he wouldn't make any judgments on the abilities of anyone in his squad until he saw it.

He looked at Langford and Flins at the doorway, waiting to be directed towards the escort. His expression hardened again to an impatient scowl as he tried to refocus on what he had to do. I can't let her distract me. I need to hurry up and kill this bastard so I can keep IPG interested in finding Mei. If I fail, I'm dead as well. I can stand dying but... I don't want Mei to wind up dead in fucking dumpster somewhere; missing pieces and violated. That's not in the cards for her... No. We're gonna get her back, and she's gonna go off and become a good Scientist or Physical Therapist or even a professional dancer.

The short, heavily muscled man's expression darkened as his hand tightly gripped the strap of his pack. His entire body visibly tensed as he waited for some sort of movement.
 
Nelew watched the newcomers gear up.

"No." The word came sharply, and she walked over to Chandler. "No explosives. No unsilenced weapons. I highly recommend that you reconsider your gear," she said in a manner just a voice-modulation away from being an order. "This is to be a black-ops mission and remain so indefinitely." The white-skinned woman's yellow eyes bore into his before she turned to look at Alaster.

"Sir, recommend an insertion method rather than a snipe attempt. I can get inside and eliminate the target while backed up by teammates with silenced handguns to remove or distract the guards. Lenz can provide sniping backup if required, if the target is alerted early and attempts to escape. It will be much cleaner than a broken window or a bullet hole in a wall, which could provide clues for the local investigation team to follow."
 
Cyrene glanced over at Nelew and stepped forward. "I'll more than willingly follow along with her. If you need someone to rush in silently, or back up Innitiate Enev'rana, I'll more than satisfy your demands." She kicked her black sniper case to the corner of the room and fiddled with the stilettos in her hands, sliding a trio of them into her wrist. A slightly cold feeling sent shivers up her cybernetic arms.

"Since I won't be needing it... Captain Flins? What do you have in mind now?"
 
Mikhael raised a hand, beginning a formal protest, but lowered it, with a grim look on his face.

"Next time. We'll see if you run flat into a steel door and need someone to blast through it and this stuff isn't straight behind you." He put the pack (crudely stencilled with 'CHANDLER' in grey magic marker on the front) back on the wall. However, he kept the silenced GP-1 and 10mm.
 
Athrylis watched the miscellaneous conversations, before she looked around the armory. She grabbed a holster for the CO pistol she had and strapped it to her thigh. She holstered the pistol, safety on of course, before she looked around for one more thing. The initiate also grabbed a pouch to stowe away the couple extra magazines she had.

Now content with her equipment, Athrylis stood off to the side of the room, waiting for the group to head out to the escort.
 
"Miss Veles...I do not recall asking you to drop that rifle." Alaster pointed out, wearing a small frown. The young man was a little displeased, they hadn't even started the mission yet and already he had people trying to do what they wished.

"As I recall, I said we will decide on our roles while in route we will have all f our equipment, should we decide on a different role, we can interchange our weaponry with our comrades." He explained, hands behind his back. "Please put those away and pick up that rifle." He asked politely, nodding to the stilletos, and then to the rifle.

"Chandler, please take any explosive that makes little noise. Thermite may work, it burns through materials instead of exploding them. Nothing to cause a big explosion mind you, discretion is our credence here. And we may need some small scale explosives. However, please keep it light."
 
"Righto." Mikhael turned in mid-step, emptied some of the AP mines and a block of the plastic explosives out of the pack, instead loading in four thermite grenades.

"Ready to go. Again."
 
Chandler's suggestion of the door was a valid one, Nelew mused. Normally she would simply find a window, but the rest of her team may not be able to follow. She flipped through the descriptions of thermite weapons on her pad and quickly found something that interested her and might be more useful than grenades.

"What about thermite strips or pastes? Those allow more precise applications to barriers," she suggested to Chandler.
 
A heavy foot came down on the rifle case, stopping its motion. Flins reached down to lift it, and then looked to the group. "Cadet Nelew is correct. Strips would be far better." He pointed to a locker. "In there. Marked according to cutting depth, in inches."

Within the locker were a number of black metal strips. Yellow warning stripes were marked on one side, around a small strip of brown material.

Flins set the rifle case against the wall. "Your equipment should be treated better, Initiate. Your father would not be pleased." The Operator Captain stood straight once more. "You also must remember that the men you are going to fight are not weak. These are ID-SOLs. They have remained the standard in much of the Nepleslian military for decades for a reason." He looked to Alaster. "Initiate Langford should be able to appreciate this."
 
ID-SOLs? The term was new to her, so Nel searched it from her pad.

That's all they were? She had sparred To'Yaree approximately that size in her training...these "ideal soldiers" were little more than muscles with small hammers in their guns instead of muscles with large ones in their fists.

"They will not be a problem," she said, looking up at Flins. "If we can separate them from their client and from each other, they can be easily dealt with."
 
"Right. I'm holding onto the grenades though, just in case." Chandler turned back to the explosives locker and loaded several thermite strips into the pack as well, then shouldered it again.

"Ready again. Again."
 
"I can sir, considering I am part ID-SOL." Alaster replied with a soft nod. "And I can safely tell you all...even a part ID-SOL is not something to trifle with, augmented strength, and stamina are standard. Even watered down ID-SOL blood has some of those traits. I myself can lift more then an average Nepleslian and sustain a little more damage. And I am only around a quarter or so." He merely shrugged lightly, Flins knowing his genetic background was not a big secret after all considering a majority of his family was at least partly ID-SOL.

"ID-SOL are the proverbial 'super soldiers' of Nepleslia for a reason. Now, everyone if you are satisfied with your equipment, I would like to see this mission through as quickly, and cleanly as possible." He motioned to the exit with a large hand. "Our transport awaits us."
 
"I think, the easiest way to get access to the traitor is staring right at us," Lenz commented gruffly, he scowled like the idea left a nasty taste in his mouth, "Because they are in hiding, those fuckers are probably horny as hell and we now have 3 women accompanying us. We could use them as bait or as our way in. If you are feeling creative you could smuggle in the strips... but the easiest way through is not dignified but it's a way in that won't attract as much attention as guns blazing."
 
"D'aww... Whatever. But I'm keeping the grenades, the women can keep the strips. They can wear them as adhesives over their boobs or whatever..." Chandler opened his pack and took out the large bundle of thermite strips which were bound by a rubber band, divided it into thirds and handed them out, seven to each female squad member, totalling 21 strips.
 
Nelew didn't take the offered strips, instead looking at Flins, then Alaster, for approval or disapproval of Lenz's idea.
 
"I believe that Initiate Neis has a valid idea. Ms. Adair, I believe you have experience in such situations." Flins spoke. He also walked to Chandler and tore the pack from him. He reached in and removed the explosive devices.

"As your fellow Initiates have already stated, explosives are not be used here. Now, I leave the decision of tactics to your squad leader. It is not my place to decide. However, remember we do not have the time to play the full intercourse game if you do choose the infiltration course of action."
 
Cyrene sighed, picking up her case and moving back to the rest of the group. The initiate pondered the validity of her actions for a moment, but, figuring that she had only slightly irked a fellow recruit, did not give it much thought. And I'm hearing suggestions to use sex as a distraction now? That doesn't sound very Nepleslian...

With everything she needed, she filed in behind Nelew and stood firmly in place, awaiting orders to move on.
