If no charges were brought up on Wazu. Due to no evidence and what not. I'm sure the IPG would've been keeping tabs on a certain Drei, and have confirmed as such with Sub.

Soresu Hey Sub... would the IPG be keeping tabs on any Drei avatars and such in use? Monitoring data flows and what not?

Unless of course there is a rational, ICly given explanation they could not have been doing this.

Srsly, all this court, and prison crap makes me want to re-watch A Few Good Men.
 
That Drei avatar is in storage in 4th Fleet and Valken makes use of a different iteration of Drei (without an avatar) to coordinate his fleet. As an IC tool, its still viable. Just got lots of cobwebs.
 
Here's my Setting Manager ruling:

In YE 33, after Wazu and Harm are summoned to their superiors in the SMODIN, Harm was taken in to custody because Nekos are not allowed in Nepleslia. Then the YSE-DION Neko prisoner treaty happens and she ends up in Yamatai's prison as a POW. Now, Nepleslians are building a case against her and also against Wazu as they get more details from Drei via IPG investigations.

If Nepleslians want to convict Uso and/or Wazu of something, I want there to be an in-character investigation and trial. Until there is one, Wazu walks free and Uso walks when the NMX war is over (unless Yamatai charges her with something from the past, which I'm probably too busy to do). Any arrests/investigation needs to be in the present, not the past.
 
Update: Due to the lack of IC evidence, Uso has managed to weasel her way out of the prison based on some technicalities. Apparently the Drei unit Wazu used was not available for evidence purposes.

Uso didn't want her to be in prison at all but he reluctantly agreed to a JP with me and we RPed her being released.
 
Can I ask why the Drei unit is unavailable? It implies a glaring mistake (or several of them) was made by my 4th Fleet NPCs. I'm not particularly pleased that this decision was made without my knowledge since it now reflects badly on my GMNPCs.
 
Well, according to Uso, his Drei was programmed to be more loyal to Wazu than to the Nepleslian government. After all, he was their creator.

If I were you, I might reevaluate the use of Drei units on my ships.

Let me use a word that was tossed around before: "metagaming". Did the Nepleslian FM of the time consent to that, or was that something that was allowed because it wasn't presented for judgement? In theory, all Drei units should be loyal to the Nepleslian government first.
 
...So according to a guy who has a vested interest in the results, you eliminate evidence based on nothing but his words? I thought we were eliminating "evidence" that wasn't directly stated in RP.

Seems like a bit of a double standard.

Wes They can still do an investigation, I just didn't have a legit reason to hold Uso in jail for now.

Wes They certainly can. But it's out of my hands. Basically if that happens, it should be RPed because arguing it out OOCly wasn't doing any good for anyone.
Wes I just wanted to get us a common baseline on where there character was so we can handle things ICly from this point forward.

Wes Hopefully we'll see some RP come out of it. Even if the Nepleslian players don't do an investigation RP, we'll still see some RP from Uso's side. Apparently he's already doing an RP with Toshiro.

Nepleslia won't be doing any investigations, or anything related to Wazu or Uso. Uso and his characters are Gartagen characters now and I have no intention of making this an issue when there are zero reasons to make it so. What has happened is already passed and is no longer any concern of ours.

If Uso wants to say that Wazu's Drei that he spent time with is more loyal to him, that's fine and dandy. But Nepleslia will continue using Drei's because they are simple AI's and, beyond Wazu's purported 'faithful' Drei, all the rest will do what they were designed to do; act as an interface between ship and personnel, with no surprises.
 
I think Drei is a story for another time, I'm sure you could ask Kokuten about it if you want more details.
