Refrigerating to such temperatures are very difficult, and due to physical constraints (i.e. the tech isn't the problem) such a refrigeration unit could not be installed on a small arm. And even at absolute zero* the Van Der Waals interactions still exist, so the M/AM assembly would still remain unstable.
* Absolute zero has been redifined as a small amount above total physical stasis, so that the Uncertinty Principle is obeyed.
