"Viktor, Harrison! Close that corridor and move up!" Fian Vel Steyr scooted out of the Armory, seeing the 4th door close. He turned left to where a potentially large problem was growing and backed the wall next to Talbain, leaving Henry's suit there. "Private," He confided. "Those Jimmies have to go, rush them, I'll follow you in."

Talbain gave a quick "Roger. Taking right side!" Moving around Trey he activated his boosters and shoulder turrets pouring them into the WATER2 as he started speeding down the hallway.

That was quick! Fian thought as he slammed his boosters and raced out towards Anselm's side of the corridor, using the large Aggressor as cover from the M2's deadly LBR. He held his Type 1 close to his him and let lose at the damaged DD, just so that it wouldn't damage Talbain in a freak shot.

Talbain's rushing figure was immediately met the WATER2's LBR bolt, dropping his shields into the red zone, a few positron packets managed to bypass the weakened barrier and annihilate a few grams of armor off the Aggresor. Not taking it lying down, the M9 unleashed a hail of plasma fire from its twin plasma turrets, at this closing range also weakening the M2's shields severely.

One Jimmy managed to run into the storage room, the others were hot on its heels. The damaged DD raised its LBR-00p towards the ID-SOL, it had a much higher chance of hitting at this range but it never took that chance, as what's left of its armor was ripped apart by Fian's solid bullets, tearing the DD limb from limb and dropping it permanently.

Underestimating the speed of the Aggressor based on the performance of its ancestor the EARTH1, the WATER2 ran out of time to fire a second shot, instead lunged at Talbain with the LBR's inbuilt positron bayonet with thrusters blazing.

Not one for being skewered with antimatter Talbain smashed his leading right hand into the side of the LBR relying on his Aggressor and ID-SOL strenght to smash the weapon or at least slam it aside.

The WATER2's weapon shattered under the impact of the Aggressors slamming. There was little time to react to the broken weapon as Talbain had followed the first swing with a left hook smashing into the Water into the side of the waist where the armor was thinnest.

The shield bubble between the two combatants fizzled and merged. The fragile LBR broke in a shower of sparks, the WATER2 did not have time to mourn the loss of its main weapon however, as it thrown violently against the side wall by Talbain's nanomuscle enhanced punch. It tried to fire its Arrestor while propped up on the wall, but the prongs went wild, the shock must have dislocated some of the teleoperated Jimmy's servos.

Not one to waste good momentum Talbain gave a back swing with his right hand grabbing the WATER2 and dragging it along the floor as he continued boosting down the hallway.

The Jimmies could only watch as the monstrous pile of Water2 and Aggressor armors came screaming down the hall at them. At such a short distance evasion was impossible. Talbain using the Water2 as a improvised plow watched with satisfaction as sparks and Jimmy parts went everywhere The first Jimmy he had come to had practically exploded when the combined mass of the armors slammed into it. The second one fared little better being crushed under the weight of the armor and ground to pieces. Leaving a trail of twitching limbs and gouges on the floor.

He cut the booster coming to a halt and after admiring the mess he made commented into the communications channel, "I love my job." He gave the WATER2 one more good punch to the head to make sure it was down.

Meanwhile, in Tunnel Bravo...

"Affirmative, Master Chief." Harrison held his position at the side of the tunnel and called out to Viktor.

"Alright, Fian's given us orders to knock out the corridor and head out. Can you get a fix on the number of enemies advancing?"

So many thanks; it was almost too much and it might start going to his head. "No need for thanks, Harrison. Just doing what need be done." Then he nodded again. "Just a quick peek." He took a deep breath and boosted to the corner. Leaning around, he made sure to expose only one shoulder and half his head. He took a quick mental count of the enemies, and then pulled back to evaluate the numbers with the data from his HUD.

"...mngh." Henry was coming around. This fact would show up on everyone else's HUDs, "hrrngh... damn it." He voiced on radio. Henry felt pains in his left arm, back and head. His vision was a bit blurred, but it focused out into clarity.

Henry's HUD showed that he'd been out of it for a while, and that the left arm on his suit had been busted out of action. He could use his HPAR one-handed, but he wouldn't be able to fire burst fire if he wanted to keep it accurate.

He stood up while his left arm stayed by his side, picking up his HPAR. He looked at his radar and began advancing towards his team with his weapon raised.

Anselm could only stare in wonder "Holy shit, Talbain, remind me never to get on your bad side." Having trouble with his injured leg, the marine activated his suit's gravity engines and floated after his fellows.

Surveying the destruction Anselm Wyatt had the compulsion to feel sorry for the pilots until he remembered they were bolt-jobs and smiled like a madman at Talbain's creative use of momentum and advanced power armor, not to mention a good deal of Nepleslian aggression.

"Somebody's getting a free round of drinks after this."

After all the commotion, Trey was glad to have some Melee support, so he didn't have to do all the fighting himself. Boosting down to Talbain and Anselm's Position, the sniper looked inside the storage room, Arrestor guard and Arrows ready for whatever the Jimmy may have managed to do "Always make sure to check the ones that got away" The sniper mumbled, as if chastising a child.

The energy readings of an ELEMENT type powering up is obvious and unmaskable. However the rudimentary sensors on Fian's SDD was unable to detect this, it could be either the suit was already powered up and waiting, mass meshed, or that it wasn't powered up at all. Hitting the door button, the sheet of metal slid away to reveal shelves stocked with a variety of materials and cargo, the place seemed to be a gathering point for further sorting. Most prominently however was a half open AIR-R 'Storm' smack in the middle of the room, and a Jimmy with it's upper torso helplessly sticking out of it.

Fian wasn't certain if he should fire with his spray-type chaingun and risk scratching the factory-default gunmetal gray paintjob.

Viktor came back even with Harrison. "We have four more PAs headed our way. They were a good distance off, so I can't really say what types. We should fall back with the rest of the squad because they know for certain that I'm here." Then he was boosting in reverse again, eyes set on the corner just in case they came up faster than his SAVTECH predicted they were traveling.

"I'll take your suggestion this time, Kingston. Back to our squad." Harrison turned away from the corner and retreated towards the bulk of the battle, where Trey, Talbain and Anselm were holding the line. As much as he didn't like the thought of a two-front skirmish, Harrison believed in the "safety in numbers" strategy, if only to use his team-mates as liabilities, support and (if push came to shove) cover.

Turning around to check the squad's rear, Anselm had full view of Fian with his chaingun raised at the opening to the storage room he had so carelssly overlooked "Everyone keep you guard up!" The marine moved to place himself in front of the master chief and whatever was in the room and pulsed his noisemaker to disable the Jimmy. Having a few seconds before the signal would be reestablished, Anselm grabbed the bot and somewhat roughly removed it from the AIR-R, violently abusing the Jimmy's head against the corner.

Fian heaved a sigh of relief. He really wanted to get out of the SDD, bad enough that it was currently the weakest suit in the group, it was severely damaged, and it stank. The Master Chief put his hand on Anselm's shoulder and then scooted the albino outside. "Thanks, soldier. Now get out into the corridor and see if someone can take a look at that leg."

He then leaned out of the doorway where the rest of the squad was. "All right everybody, rest and recharge. I'll only take a minute." Fian hit the door close button, shutting off the storage room from outside view.

Station security and the squad's own sensors confided that the immediate area was clear of enemies, for now. Combo-ed with the torpedo, the losses they took in the corridors must have sent them reeling. Except the ones coming down Harrison's and Viktor's side, those were getting closer by the second.

In the lull, the shields on everybody's suit started regenerating back to almost full strength, as no one was spared from taking shield damage up to this point.

When Viktor came around to the storage unit, he found the corridor empty of enemies and the door shut. He posted up against the door and readied his LBR. "Master Chief, we have four units-- type unconfirmed-- trying to pinch us in the ass. I would suggest that you hurry whatever business you have." Then he turned his attention to Harrison. "Think you can hit them with the PAL?" his tone was jibing, and his smirk could be heard in his voice; it was almost like a schoolyard dare: think you can hit the big guy with a rock?

Harrison attested to the challenge. "Most of the time I would say the station would probably decompress, but I'll make an exception this time. Master Chief, permission to bring out the big guns?"

Fian said:
"Thanks, soldier. Now get out into the corridor and see if someone can take a look at that leg."

He then leaned out of the doorway where the rest of the squad was. "All right everybody, rest and recharge. I'll only take a minute." Fian hit the door close button, shutting off the storage room from outside view.

"Sir-" Anselm acknowledged as the door shut and turned to the rest of the squad "...medic?"

Seeing that Fian didn't need Trey looking through the door any more, he turned about to look after Anselm's Armor. After a few moments, the Yam-Nep Made a small noise that sounded like he had an idea, which he did. "Well, If we have someone with a working PPG, We could probably have the suit's SAVTECH fine-tune the control to pull that bit of armor out a little, which will remove the pressure from your leg, and keep it from getting hurt any more." The Ex-Tech sentry mused. "But It could also completely destroy your leg if we're off too much on our calculations, so it's something you'd have to choose before we do." He looked up at the surrounding PA's, not noticing any with the PPG system aside from Anselm's own, and the positioning would make it impossible for him to use it himself.

"Gentlemen," Henry asked the team over radio while attempting to nurse his left arm, "What - the frag - are we supposed, to be doing? Answer... me."

He figured that not getting a verbal response from the crew meant they were either too busy blowing shit up, or just plain unresponsive.

Talbain dropped the unresponsive WATER2 to the ground and retrieved the AMP from it's storage mount on the back of his armor.

Talbain replied to Henry's question in a fairly flat tone, "We're taking advantage of this break in fighting to get Chief Vel Steyr into an undamaged power armor, assess our situation and recharge our shields."

He then turned to face the direction that the Jimmies had come from in case anything else came from that direction.

Anselm winced when Trey tried to fiddle with his leg "Fuck, leave it alone, just help me recalibrate my shield; I can fight fine with the injury, but I've only got 90% shields; I can wait till we get a medic."

Hearing the cross-chatter, Kingston submitted his own supplication: "Now would be a good time to post up in a defensive position while the Master Chief switches suits, and I'd be more than grateful to know I had someone covering the asses of Harrison and myself if you would be so kind."
