Telepathic Message to Harris said:
He wasn't on the team that joined in the search but he was on the shuttle when I got there. I can only assume that he came from the Freedom, sorry I can't be of more help

Takeyu tapped his lower chin thoughtfully with a free hand, and wondered if the boy really was from the Freedom or just someone on the planet who came onboard.

Telepathic Message to Nayacesen said:
Thank you for the information.

Mikael blinked his eyes and once again focused on the boy. "Like my friend here said, we can not leave you alone at this time. Once you have been screened, then I am sure you will be given some help and privacy." Mikael said, trying his best to convince the boy to cooperate. Mikael thought for a second. "I am Santo-hei Harris and the pretty little Neko there is Santo-hei Inoue. What is your name?"

They weren't going to leave him alone. But at least they weren't dangerous.

"...Sukeharu." The boy glanced at Kiri, his eye flicking over her ears, then looked back at Mikhael. He shifted in his seat, plopping down into the chair and legs relaxed into sitting cross-legged while he leaned forward and draped his arms limply in front of him, settling in to wait and see what they were going to do next.

"Sukeharu huh? Why does that name sound familiar..." Mikael started to trail as he tried to remember. But he then smiled as he remembered that was the name of the "joker" in his Basic Training class. But then the smile slightly faded and he extended his left hand, palm facing up, towards Sukeharu.

"Let's get you to the Medbay and then after that clean you up a bit if you want."

T7 Shuttle

Kiko bowed to the boy. "A pleasure to meet you, Sukeharu-san." She was glad that Mikhael was here to handle the speaking. She wasn't sure at all of her ability to convince him to be screened without coercion.

Medbay

Yaiba walked up to the green shirted person running medical. "Greetings, I am Yaiba-Hei from the Freedom. Here for my medical screening."

Sune looked at her unusual garment, he walked over to the cabinet and pulled out a set of scrubs and handed them to the black haired Neko. "If you would please put these on, I can commence with the examination." he said.

"Certainly," Yaiba replied and removed her improved clothing. Even before spending a year on HX-13 she was not bashful about her body. She then put on the scrubs. "

Sune guided her to one of the examination beds. "Okay this will not hurt. Please lie down and relax." He said holding the medical scanner in his hand. He inject the medi-scanner bots, and activated the AMBU. He would monitor the status of the scan. Dispite a year of living in the environment of HX-13. He found no sign of infection, or infestation from any NMX parasite.

"Well, Yaiba-Hei, you are cleared medically. So you can leave the Eucharis and take advantage of the Ikoi facilities." He said switching the unit off.

Yaiba stood up, "Thank you Juni, I believe the first thing I want is a long hot shower, followed by a longer hot bath. Hopefully I will see you on the station." She said as she walked out.

Sune then crossed over and did his own visual scan of Takeyu. "You are cleared for duty Nayacesen-Hei. If you do not mind please provide a report on the life form that attacked you. I would like to forward it to the SSS."

He crossed over to the tube where Yaichiro was mending. The system was showing that his dermal regeneration was complete. So he activated the drain and awaken cycle. While the tube cleaned the Shosa off from any blood Sune placed a fresh pair of scrubs on a cart along with Yaichiro's personal items.

When the tube opened. "Your healing is complete Kage-Shosa, you may experience some tightness in the neck muscles for a few days. I will have Charisma provide you with a list of stretching exercises I want to you to use."

T7 Shuttle

Ignoring the offered hand -- he wasn't injured, he didn't see a need to take it -- Sukeharu slid off the seat and took a couple steps toward the airlock, then looked back at the two crewmembers. His chin was tucked to his chest, probably a reflexive posture from being in an unfamiliar place than an indicator of his thoughts about them.

T7 Shuttle

Kiko looked up the location of the Medbay and led Sukeharu there. If they got there without incident, she bowed, saluted, and said to someone who didn't look busy, "Sukeharu-san here needs to be screened."

Takeyu slid off the ANU and corrected his uniform a bit. When he heard the request for a report he thought about the creature which was unique, as he had never seen it before, and it was oddly armored, but he had another problem, something that had been on his mind since the mission started.

"I will have a report ready for you within the next ten-fifteen minutes, Sune-Juni," said Takeyu as he turned toward the door, his expression showing a sign of worry.

He didn't head straight to engineering though, with something on his mind he wanted to get it out. Instead, he headed to his assigned cabin. Stuff had been tossed around, but he ignored it and took a seat at the table.

Cabin

Clasping his hands in front of him, he closed his eyes and 'dove' into his memories and recalled everything that had happened - including what transpired between him and the Taii in relation to his power armor. It was a situation he felt stupid about. He gave it some hard thought, and though he was reluctant to do it, he knew it was the right thing to do.

Report made by Itto-Hei Nayacesen Takeyu said:
"I am making this report since I feel my actions before the drop played a small role in the team not being properly prepared for the drop.

Shortly after orders were given for me to report to the cargo bay; I asked Voe-Shoi if she wanted me to remove my power armor or bring it along. I was instructed to bring the armor along so I reminded the Shoi that the power armor is equipped with an Aetheric Generator. I was expecting to be ordered to remove the armor, but instead I was told to turn the generator off and to utilize the armor if I felt I was capable. At the time I felt I was, but now I realize it was just overconfidence and me disregarding the possible limits of my body.

Upon arrival at the cargo bay, Taii-Klein approached me and demanded to know why I was in power armor, stating it was dead weight and useless without the generator. She told me to either take the armor off, or jury-rig some batteries to it.

Realizing that I had made a mistake, I decided to keep the armor behind. I didn't feel comfortable keeping the armor in the cargo bay, I was worried about the possibility of NMX boarding the ship and I didn't want to risk them finding the armor if that happened. So I took the armor back to the PA Bay, The Shoi hadn't yet arrived so I felt I had time.

I returned to the cargo bay a minute or so later, but without orders from the Shoi, I had to prepare for the mission as best I could.

I am however grateful that the Taii knocked some sense into me, but I also feel stupid for being overconfident. "

With that Takeyu sent the report and sighed heavily to himself; he did feel stupid, thinking he could utilize the armor without its generator. Then again, he also knew that the armor may have come in handy, but that it could've resulted in the NMX discovering them a lot sooner. Though he did wonder, why didn't the Mindys have a module so that they could be run without the Aether Generator? "Perhaps it's something I should look into," he rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

That out of the way, he turned his attention to the request that the Juni made.

He searched through his memories, recalling the events involving the creature.

HX-13 said:
"This report details information about a creature I encountered on HX-13.

I have attached several images of this creature from my memory and will be referenced in this report. The creature, which looked to be a Lemur of some sort, appeared to be armored on its body(Reference Image 1, shows armored Lemur just after it latches onto Takeyu), my attempts to remove the creature resulted in deep lacerations on my hands that I was to deal with when I got back to camp (Reference Image 2, shows hands with deep cuts on it).

The creatures armor was jagged however(Reference Image 3, which shows the armor as being jagged), and it made it hard to deal with. With the way the armor looked, I don't think a knife would've worked. I don't know if a pistol would've worked since I never tried it, due to being worried it might draw unwanted attention.

I can only guess on the weight of creature, as it felt to be around forty to forty five kg. Though it might've been lighter, due to it hitting me with enough force to knock me down.

Additional Images, Four, Five, and Six, show the creature just before I managed to get it off me with image seven and eight being after it got back up into its tree."

With that report now sent, Takeyu sat there for a few moments more, before getting up out of his seat to go and look into some of the matters with the Eucharis - such as the Blast Shutters not staying locked.

Ikoi Starbase
Yaiba made good on her statement to Sune. As soon as she exited the gunship she went to a terminal. She submitted a room request, and an issue of one complete uniform with accouterments.

She then walked down the hallway with her bow and quiver in one hand her communicator and survival knife in the other. When Yaiba found her cabin she stepped in put the few meager items she still had on the table and peeled out of the scrubs.

She walked into the shower and turned it on to as hot as it would go grabbed the provided soap and shampoo. She stepped into the streams of hot water and just stood there. It felt so good on her skin that she just relished in it, and slowly rotated so that the worst of a years grime from HX-13 was sloughed off.

Yaiba then using the soap and the washcloth proceeded to scrub every part of her she could reach. Then she washed her hair twice before she was satisfied with it.

She stepped out of the shower and dried off. She thought about soaking in the tub but changed her mind. Wrapped in a towel she found her requested items outside her door and took them in. Putting on the uniform was cathartic, it helped her for the moment to purge the myriad emotions she was feeling. In uniform she could focus on her duty.

That said she left her quarters and looked for the nearest wardroom.

Medbay

Sune finished cleaning up the medical units and was waiting for the other survivors and the other injured soldier to arrive. While doing so he walked over and added a recommendation into Yaiba's medical report. After a surviving the crash, and living on a harsh, NMX occupied planet, he definitely felt they should go through a psychological evaluation, and possibly therapy. It was not unreasonable in his opinion that they could be suffering from survivor guilt, post traumatic stress, at a minimum.

He looked around at the still empty medbay. He picked up the intercom and dialed the ship wide speakers. "Jalen-Nitô Juni to all hands. What is the hold up getting the survivors and the last injured member of the rescue team to medical?"

Yaichiro acknowledged Sune, quickly redressing. He was more shy about nudity than Nekos it seemed, before taking his items. he idly massaged his neck and nodded.

"Understood. I also have a Comfort Bed I use for technical simulations and massages when needed. I can program it to aid by neck massages when the information arrives. Arigatou, Sune-Juni."

With that, Yaichiro left for his room...and as he redressed, figured he should send a report to the Taisa. he hadn't been in good enough shape to ponder details until now...so he composed a report as expected of anyone who ever held a desk job.

Shosa Kage Yaichiro to Charisma said:
This report details my own role and injury on the events on HX-13, from the departure from the Eucharis to return. While I was not part of the bulk of the operation, it is still necessary to explain how I came to be injured as my own decisions played a role. It also deals with the situation under which we left Miyazawa-Hei behind.

It should first be noted that I was engaged in hull repairs after the preceding battles and was in an AMES suit in addition to my regular uniform when ordered to immediately pilot the shuttle in the operation. This has relevance later.

Upon departing the camouflaged Eucharis after the confirmation that Irenika-Hei was compromised, I operated under the presumption that my actions would reveal the ship's true nature if it had not been discovered already. I moved at high atmospheric speed to the pick up point, using the data from the Aerial Drones to learn the location of the team as well as the general relative direction of the sniper.

I elected to set the shuttle down with the rear doors toward the team, angled slightly so some of the T7's length could be used to shield their approach. In this way I hoped to shield them from sniper fire, but this left the cockpit window exposed. I had considered using the CFS, but in addition to the power draw from the Aether Reactor making the shuttle easier to orbitally bombard, the CFS bubble would have killed the team and survivors if they tried to approach.

At this point I had to wait for the team and survivors to board, my Transparent Durandium windshield facing the enemy as a result of shielding the team, and hope that it combined with the slight angling I managed would be sufficient against anti-personnel sniper fire.

The weapon the enemy utilized was stronger than expected, a bright light being visible briefly before I found myself doused and torn by shrapnel. I believe that the reason I wasn't killed at this point was because of the anti-penetrative properties of the AMES, which prevented extra deep penetration though it did fail to fully protect against it. Before I could react, a second shot went through the hole rapidly and struck the side of my neck. It is my belief that the rapid second shot caused the sniper to be inaccurate, preventing a direct headshot.

After this, the sniper did not fire again, though I believe this may have been due to suppression fire from the Taii who was nearby at the time. After those present at this location boarded, I was told to move the shuttle to a second pickup location where the remainder of the team was located. With the aid of the Aerial Drone, I managed to do so in spite of my injuries.

After landing the shuttle we waited for the remainder of team while taking fire, and the Taii instructed me that everyone was aboard. Immediately after this we lifted off and managed to return to Eucharis.

I give praise to the AMES suit which, while not a combat model, probably spared my life from the bulk of the shrapnel's penetration; and should note that I do not blame the Taii for leaving Miyazawa-Hei out of the headcount. Given the situation we could not keep waiting, and it was a tough decision which had to be made -- it should also be noted that as the superior officer on site, the responsibility of leaving her lay squarely on my shoulders and not hers.

Eucharis - Wardroom

With reports completed, and her organic needs satisfied, Helen was still left missing something as she rummaged through the kitchen of the Eucharis. She figured she would either end up eating the silverware, or could hopefully find some sort of NH-27 intended snack. Much to her delight, she found a jar of small metallic disks of metal... she had no idea when they were from, or who they were stocked for, but she figured it had been there as a leftover from one of the samurai which had been in the Princess' service. Happily satisfied with her find, Helen could be found lounging quite comfortably in the wardroom, eating a snack of copper, nickel, iron, and titanium which her unique metabolism readily absorbed.

Though, as she outwardly lounged and snacked, her mind clicked away at a message it had received, and it left her slightly disappointed at the fact that she would not be returning to the comfort of her own ship. Staying around royalty... it made her have this distinctive fear for messing up in a way which would leave her dead, or demoted. No matter though, there was no way around the matter as she gave a shrug, and snapped a coin-sized disk of steel in two with her teeth as she began the initial foot-work of her mission by retrieving the relevant data from MEGAMI.

Eucharis Medical Lab

Hanako started reading the reports, analyzing what had happened. Apparently, Helen had thrown a soldier out the back of the ship. It only added to her dislike of the SAINT agent. She would be glad when Helen left the ship. She checked the roster, noting that Kumiko was getting a transfer...wait, what was Helen doing on the roster? Instantly she knew there was something going on in SAINT that she needed to know about. She resolved to speak with Helen.

The Taisa looked up to see Atsukoha Orohote entering the medical room and directed her to Sune.

Eucharis

A distinctive sigh of displeasure left Helen as she received yet another message, it left her annoyed, and feeling rushed as she finished the last of the metallic snacks and concluded she had to get right to work. Twenty-four to forty-eight hours was not long... not long at all. She had to formulate a plan of how to get her job done, a job that was shrouded in the intricacies of social contact and trust. Though, she did find something useful as she combed the ship's MEGAMI, something that could be a fast ticket to a dialog.

So, with a half-baked notion in mind, Helen made her way to the Eucharis' shower... just what she was up to was something which relied upon the days gone by of the crew which had served under the Princess, and what the ship's MEGAMI had seen in her time. This knowledge that Helen had was put to use, as she arrived in the shower with a freshly purchased-by-nodal-device bottle of shampoo, scented with plum, and a delicately balanced mix of other scents which were recorded by the ship's sensors prior to her target being made quite vulnerable. So, she prepared for her mission with a lather, a rinse, and a repeat.

Yaichiro had started to dress, but then his neck started to bother him again. Getting used to repaired or new muscles was always tricky, and he decided just to gather up the clothes and head to the shower. Though Sune had the HSCS clean the blood off of him, some warm water would probably do wonders for his aching neck muscles.

As he walked to the showers in scrubs (and some underwear for modesty's sake), he compared the pre-mission and post-mission manifests, trying to determine what items needed to be ordered to restock the ship's cargo bay. He'd heard that they'd brought a Shoi aboard mid-mission to handle logistics, but she died right away on the planet's surface in some accident. He didn't know the details...but people died often in this ship's lineage. That hadn't seemed to change.

Eucharis - Showers

Peering through her water-beaded skin, Helen caught sight of the person who she had heard enter the shower. My my... good luck, perhaps? she mused as she rinsed the last of the lather from her hair, which she had slicked back behind her as she turned to look to Yaichiro, who she decided to start conversation with, just to see how it would go.

"Away missions, I think they're the number-one inspiration for a good shower, huh?" Helen spoke as she glanced over to give Yaichiro a passive smile and a nod of greeting, it was simple shipboard chatter really... she just hoped that he'd bite, and start talking... or at least show some sign that the clever ruse she had used in the form of the shampoo she picked would work... after all, she was working off of the data from MEGAMI at this point, and a bit of hope.

Yaichiro noticed her and immediately got slightly nervous from the nudity. Especially when the person was so...proportioned. He wished right now that they used stand alone showers instead of communal ones. When he smelled the plum in the shampoo though, there was an immediate reaction...he actually stopped breathing it in, and the air circulation in the room actually sped up a little as Yaichiro used his rank to speed up the air flow before going to a more distant shower and turning his back to Helen.

"Yeah, that and regenerated muscles. If I didn't have to change gender, I'd have switched to a Neko body years ago. More durable." He seemed generally shy about being unclothed, and the fact he kept his back to her indicated that while he was on guard as he stripped and started to bathe, he wasn't as on guard as one SHOULD be against a SAINT agent.

He seemed to also be using warm water in an attempt to get a column of hot air rising around him in the shower, so he couldn't smell the shampoo.

"Mm... I was lucky... I was born female and was young as the Empire grew, I really just grew with the Empire as the body-types were produced." Helen spoke, telling a bit of an honest tale as she noticed the airflow. He is quite jumpy... and resourceful. She mused before she began to focus her ability to manipulate gravity, just in the right manner to get the flow of her scent into the air currents which would pass Yaichiro, while moving the steam from between them.

"I wonder who handles the atmospheric control aboard this ship, it seems quite drafty in here." Helen commented, her lips which were graced with a layer of holographicly projected lipstick went about their continued smile. As she spoke to him, she applied some soap to her hands, another plum-scented item, and went about lathering up bare-handed, and being quite meticulous about the matter.

Sune looked at the next survivor to enter the Med bay. "Hello, I am Jalen Sune-Nitô Juni, I will be conducting your medical exam so that we can get you cleared."

He motioned to one of the ABMU, "Please remove your outer garments to facilitate the examination. If you need there is a set of scrubs available for modest. Once you are undressed and lying on the unit I can begin. What is your name and rank?"

"I am Atsukoha Orohote-Nitô Hei, I think I would prefer to use your scrubs. Pretty much everything I am wearing is pretty much worn out." She took the scrubs and went behind one of the curtains. She returned a few minutes later holding her non-clothing items.

"I've never seen one of these before, is this going to hurt?" she said as she laid down in the unit.

"The procedure will be fairly painless, a small injection of medi-bots, and a blood sample. The rest of the examination will be completely non-invasive." Sune replied as he started the unit, and injected her with the hypospray from the PMS-1.

He set about monitoring the readings and guiding the ABMU in the exam. In a relatively short period he was done.

"Well Atsukoha-Nitô Hei, I am please to report that all things considering you are in good physical condition. I would recommend that you try to eat a bit more than you normally would, and I am giving you a prescription of vitamins to help your body recover. You can dispose of the scrubs when you get to the Ikoi and they issue you some replacement clothes." he said.

Well that just leaves one more survivor, then I go get something from the Ikoi myself. he thought.

"Taisa, I have things handled here if you wish to go elsewhere." He said.

Cabins

Takeyu rubbed the back of his neck, he had been checking over the notes left for the techs and found the one about the blast shutters, something he was going to check on but found that being tired and worn out made it hard for him to concentrate. He already knew the Ikoi's techs were most likely informed already.

Instead, he stayed in the cabin to rest his eyes for a few minutes while taking a seat back at the desk, he wouldn't stay there long though, but right now he didn't want to risk trying to repair something while being unable to concentrate.

As he sat there, hands clasped infront of his face with his head planted against it, he asked his inbox to check for any new mail and had none.

I wonder what's taking that detective... I would've expected perhaps another message by now, he tapped the desk irritably.

"Guess I'll rest a bit, clean up, get a bite, then get back to work," he told himself and stayed sitting at his desk for the time being.
