Sune quickly reviewed the inventory, it was considerably less than he had hoped for, but it was better than nothing. With time being a critical factor, he put the paperwork down on the seat, and went to the loading dock to help.

Victory paused when Sune started hoisting one of the boxes.

Sune saw her and replied. "We have a lot more stuff to acquire. The sooner we are done here, we can get to the next stop. Besides a little manual labor isn't going to hurt me."

Akemi showed no reaction to Sune helping. She did think it was nice to see he didn't judge such work beneath him. She thought about asking him what their next stop was and how many more stops there were, but those questions would inevitably be answered in due time. Instead, she wordlessly continued to load the supplies. When she was done she'd return to the truck and drive as directed.

It did not take long for the three soldiers to get their equipment stored on the truck. Once it was secured, Sune returned to the cab of the truck. He checked their route, "Okay, our next destination is on the other side of the space port. We are going to see a man who has reputation for getting stuff that others can not. I am hoping we can get most of our medical needs from him."

Akemi thought the way Sune spoke of the man made him sound shady, but the officer would be dealing with him, not her. It was none of her concern who he was. Besides, maybe he was just a very reliable and resourceful person. Thinking this, Akemi drove on without saying anything.

"The man we are going to see is called Tabor. He is in the salvage business. He sometimes hires out, and other times he operates freelance. He is a business man, while he does not break the law, he is not too picky about who he will sell to." Sune offered, "I have only had one dealing with him back when I was on the Bouken. I intended to leverage the fact that he owes me a favor."

"Who you choose to deal with is of no concern to me sir. I need no explanations. I trust your judgment to be sound since you have advanced as far as you have in rank and Shôshô elected you as her first officer." Despite what she said, Akemi was wary of the man they would soon meet. She would be sure to keep her wits about her. She wondered how sure he could be of the legitimacy of his business when he had only had one prior dealing with him. It was also possible the people associated with and attracted to him were not so trustworthy. What if they were to encounter them?

"It is not Tabor I am worried about. With all that has transpired, I am concerned that some of his clientele may decide that its easier to take stuff from his customers that purchasing it from him. Once we get there its keep your eyes open and watch for any suspicious activity." Sune replied.

The trip to the address was uneventful, except for having to make a number of detours around damaged buildings that collapsed onto the roads. When they found their way to the desired address, it was an older warehouse, that had come through the conflict relatively unscathed. A burned out vehicle was still smoking at the end of the road.

"Pull up to the front of the building. I will go in and talk to Tobar, make sure you park the vehicle so that if we need to get moving you can pull straight out." Sune instructed.

"Yes sir." Akemi drove up close to the building and parked in a clearing. When Sune stepped out she disengaged the safety on her pistol and carefully surveyed the area while she waited for him to return.

Victory likewise took a stance to better survey the area. "I hope this trip is worth it, Koga-Hei there are plenty of people around. I've spotted a few on the roof tops and some further down the street."

"So do I ma'am. I suggest we both commit to memory the position of each person in the area as well as what weapons and other equipment they are and could be carrying or wearing and their movements in case any turn hostile. I could observe the ones in front of us while you track the ones behind us. I would move the truck back a bit to expand my field of view. I also suggest we do the same with any nearby vehicles and try to determine how many people are and might be in them if any. We could exchange information on our marks with telepathy. Does that sound like a reasonable course of action to you?" As Akemi spoke she kept her left hand on the wheel and her right on her gun. She also kept the engine running.

"Sounds like a good plan. The more prepared we are the better. Some of them are probably just protection for this Tobar person. The others are potential hostiles, and we can't identify them yet."

Akemi backed the vehicle up and started to carefully scan each person in front of and to the sides of her as well as those above her. "I think we should also note any interaction between the people. We might be able to pick out people acting in groups by spotting near or actual simultaneous communication device usage and gestures and words exchanged between them."

"Sounds good, we'll keep track of them and compare notes as it were."

The two Neko's would find that the ones closest to the building and the truck wore similar arm bands. In fact a person came out of the building wearing the same one. That pretty much eliminated the closest people.

However, there seemed to be two groups down towards the end of the road. But the demeanor of the groups gave the definite impression that they were not working together.

"I suppose it would be a good idea to pay extra close attention to the two groups down there. I guess things are working out alright inside since the people who appear to be guards are remaining calm." Akemi started to specifically study the general layout of the area to look for a safe and speedy way to leave other than the way they came. One ideally largely free of potential obstructions such as other vehicles, debris, road damage and people.

The silence of the area was shattered when the automated doors on the building started opening. It groaned, clanked and squealed as it was slowly drawn upward. Once the door was open high enough Sune stepped out. He stepped into the bed of the truck, "What is the status out here?" He inquired as a forklift started to emerge with several crates balanced upon the tines.

"Everything seems to be fine sir. We tried to spot potential threats, but we haven't picked up anything of much significance. We've noticed two groups of people near the end of the road, but they appear to be merely unorganized crowds." After speaking, Koga moved the truck towards the forklift and stepped out to help start loading the goods.

"They could be just spotters. I doubt that anyone would try anything right here in front of Tobar's place. Rather it would make more sense to have watchers seeing who leaves with a juice load of goods. Then relay the vehicle description and the road they are on."

Victory started hefting things to the back of the truck. "There are some tarps we can cover the stuff so they can not get a good look at what we are hauling."

"Sounds good, plus we can use them to help make sure the stuff is secured as well as we can." sune answered.

"Yes, I thought as much sir," said the soldier in response to Sune's suggestion that some of the people might be spotters. "We've also noticed some people on the rooftops. I should have said that earlier." She started hefting packages and placing them into the truck. While doing so she glanced around at the various people nearby. When they were done loading everything she worked with Victory to secure the tarps. Then she got ready to drive back.
