Akemi's first kick jarred the door but it stopped due to a chain that was attached high up. A second kick and the door was wide open. The immediate room before looked to be a living room, a sofa was lying covered in debris, and the shelves across the room were leaning askew and their contents were strewn across the floor.

Akemi immediately began looking for the occupants. Finding them, she first lifted the board off the mother and then dislodged her child's foot, taking great care with each of them. "There are people just outside this building that can treat you and your mother and quickly transfer the two of you to a hospital. Whether you are able to walk or not I would greatly appreciate it if you would let me carry you over my shoulder."

Akemi telepathically contacted her partner through her communicator. "I have located two of the three people and I am ready to extract them. What is your status?"

The woman who gave her name as Aki was more than willing to let Akemi carry her. The child, Tami with her leg free was able to walk about without problems. The structure continued to creak and groan as the wind shifted it

Akemi gave her full name in response to Aki introducing herself. Worried by the lack of a response from her partner, she called her once more. "Victory-hei, please respond. Are you alright?" She continued to use closed transmission telepathy to avoid concerning the two before her. She left them momentarily to find an improvised exit equivalent to what she had used to enter the building and opened it. Then she returned to scoop up Tami and place her over her shoulder, asking to be excused as she did so. "Please hold on tight to me miss." Next she turned to Aki. "Please excuse me ma'am," she said as she took her in her arms and cradled her back. Finally she brought them to the exit, stepped out and used her inertia control to slow her descent. After carrying them over to an EMT and letting them down, she reentered the building the way she had left and began looking for Victory.

"Koga-Hei, sorry for not replying sooner. I have a bit of a situation. I'm in the apartment in the NW corner. The occupant is currently pointing a weapon at me. Seems he thinks that I am a NMX Neko. He's six meters across the room from me. If I attempt to rush him. Well you can figure... Need you to come to one of the windows, and stun him with your NSP. Victory replied.

"All right. I will do so in a moment." Akemi used her communicator to help locate Victory while simultaneously looking for a window to potentially take aim from. Having found one, she readied her pistol, gripped it with both hands and took aim at the man's center. "I am in position. Firing now." Akemi let loose a single shot with a half trigger pull.

Victory dove to her left as Akemi fired. The occupants gun went off shattering a bowl on the kitchen counter as he crumpled to the floor.

She picked herself up, dusted off her uniform and went over to the person. She removed the weapon from his hand and tossed it to Akemi, "Hold on to this for him please. We can give it to the EMS personnel below to give to him when he comes around."

Victory then leaned down and pulled the gentleman into a fireman's carry, and made her way to the window that Akemi had shot throw. She stepped out and landed gently on the ground using her inertial control.

Walking around to the front of the building she approached the lead EMS. "Found your third occupant. We had to subdue him as he was convinced that I was the enemy. He should come around in a little bit. My companion has the weapon he was holding on me."

Akemi caught the gun and followed right behind Victory. She silently presented it to the EMT after she finished speaking.

Sune completed the repairs that he could accomplished. "Koga-Hei, Victory-Hei we need to get moving." he called out seeing them deliver their latest rescuee.

Victory and Koga-Hei were assisting in evacuating a damaged building. However, they have completed their task without injury. We are returning to the Eucharis shortly.

"It was a pleasure to be of service sir. I would like to stay and continue to help here, but we must be on our way." Akemi bowed to the head EMT and ran back to the truck. She got inside, waited until her fellow soldiers joined her and then drove on according to Sune's direction.

Sune climbed up into the cab, and Victory took her place in the back of the truck. She pulled out her communicator and started searching for the equipment that Takeyu had requested.

"Head back to the Eucharis by the most direct route possible. I made what repairs I could, but I am uncertain how long they will last so." Sune said to Akemi.

"Yes sir." Akemi took a moment to determine the correct route and then set off. Assuming they made it back without incident she would get out of the vehicle and begin assisting in unloading the gathered supplies.

The remainder of the trip back to the ship was without incident. There were more and more civilian and military EMS and law enforcement teams out and assisting people.
