Tomomi walked with the others as they tried to catch up with the rest of the team. She stayed near Bors just in case he needed help. She also occasionally (ok, really every two seconds) looked behind her just to be sure no one was following them. She even went do far as to walk backwards for a few moments before walking normal.

Sune keyed the handset and said, "Nayacesen-Taii, this is Firebird, we are deploying a shuttle to the surface near your coordinates. They are there in case you need them. Jalen-Chusa out."

Bors messaged to Takeyu as he rounded a corner still following his suits locator. If you didn't move so fast could catch up easier He thought to himself as he tried to pick up the pace without putting to much stress on himself, seeing as he was already pushing himself to keep up the pace he was already at.

"You don't have to follow so close you know, it's making me nervous anyway."

He said with a bit of humor in his voice to Mitsuko and Tomomi as he realized how close they were following him.

"Also if the squids decide to throw more exploding barrels at us one good toss could take us all out."

Misato steadied herself then she keyed open the door. with her rifle aimed she moved forward, with her drones swarming in wound her to scan the room she was entering.

Reception Room

The door was locked! Well, at first it was. There was a strange a mechanical click as she attempted to open it, and then the door lock released on its own, allowing it to be unsealed and opened.

Takeyu stared at the door and carefully began to open it up, nudging the barrel of his rifle through the opening and making his way to the next room, although he had told Misato to take lead - something about this facility was worrying him and he didn't want to needlessly put his soldiers in harms way in case there was something in the area.

From inside the small 1 square meter chamber he saw an identical door leading to the next room. It was locked and had cloudy window that would obscure his view of what was beyond until he looked at it closely. There was a vent or nozzle on the ceiling and a drain on the floor, and a small soap tray on one wall.

After Misato stepped out of the way of the Taii, she followed him in. "Sir, Maybe I should be going first, I'm a bit more expendable the you." She wasn't jazzed with the fact the officer was leading where he could be hit, and she couldn't shield him. She ordered her drones to land and recharge in their docking bays.

Shuttle

The icy ball that was the planet Ether loomed in the shuttle canopy, quickly blotting out the inky black of space as they approached. Natsumi made adjustments to the shuttle crafts course, changing the angle of attack for proper atmospheric entry. The shuttle buffeted slightly as it made contact with the upper atmosphere.

Atmospheric entry was quick and uneventful. Natsumi continued to keep an eye on the sensors as she piloted them down. She had no intent on getting shot down or intercepted by hostiles before they could render aid to the Armor team below.

She locked in on the location designated by Eucharis as the last known coordinates of the Armor team, which was currently investigating an enemy facility and vectored the shuttle for an intercept, bringing it down low over the planets surface, keeping below average Anti-aircraft weaponry ideal strike altitude.

She called up the comm system, sending a signal out;

"Armor team, this is Yamashiro-Hei along with Blueberry-Chui, we are inbound with medical support, supplies, power armor and a shuttle. Ready to rendezvous with you as soon as you are able"

Ether - NMX Facility - Reception

As Takeyu and Misato worked out who was going first, Jonathan posted himself at the Reception's entrance from the Airlock. There were at least Bors and the shuttle crew on their way in from the cave entrance itself, and if the sudden burst from Natsumi was anything to judge by, reinforcements of one form or another. In her case, supplies and armor for the shuttle crew at the least, and aid for Bors.

Bors grumbled to himself out of irritation as he received Natsumi's message.

He messaged to Takeyu before flopping down of the floor and leaning up against a wall. As he waited for Takeyu's reply he took a moment to inject himself with some more HS blood to try and speed up the healing process.

"Go ahead," Takeyu stepped aside to allow Misato through. "DarkSky-hei, search this room for anything or use," ordered the officer as he turned back toward their exit and sent a 'thanks' to Sune and a 'ok' to Natsumi.

Reception Room

Bors happened to lean on the wall behind the desk in the reception area, and when he did, it slid open to reveal a 1-meter-wide passage behind the secret door. It looked like a utility tunnel. After 6 meters, it turned to the right. He still felt horrible, and the HS injector was now empty.

Mitsuko was slightly distracted by the radio chatter, overhearing that not one, but two shuttles were arriving as backup. She was relieved, but also disappointed in herself, that she'd let things come to this. She was brought back to the situation at hand, as Bors slumped against the wall. "Oh no! Are you-" Murakami cut off with a squeak, feet hitting the ground as she moved to assist Bors, watching him flop backwards into the secret passage is it unexpectedly opened up.

She moved forward, into the passage, puting herself between him and whatever might be further inside. Mitusko tried to help him up to a more manageable position.

Shuttle


The shuttle drew close to the base coordinates, Natsumi brought the small craft in for a landing, settling it down onto the icy ground with a soft thud.

"Yamashiro-Hei to Armor team, the shuttle is down, landed just outside the facility." she reported, then left the cockpit and went about quickly changing into her MINDY. There was a good chance they were going to need fire support and she had no intention of letting anyone get a hold of her shuttle without a fight if anyone attempted to try and grab it like the other one.

Soon she was suited up in her blue and red power armor, all systems green, plasma rifle in hand. Blueberry was similarly suited up and also kitted out with medical gear to help Bors as soon as they met up with him.

Natsumi opened the hatch, taking a step out into the cold. She quickly deployed her drones, using them to recon the area for hostiles or the Armor team.

Once The Taii stepped out of the way Misato moved to the next door in the room and opened it. With a quick spark of a thought her drones leaped off of their docks and flew ahead. Once the door was fully opened she followed, trying to keep herself between the opening and the Taii.

Complex - Sleep Area

Takeyu looked around the new room, taking in the sights before he noticed some new information related to Bor's injuries. It was then that he received the transmission concerning Bor's injuries and stared at it, wondering why he hadn't received it until now.

"We can hear you Yamashiro-hei, however, we have a problem. Is there a medic with you? If so, I need them to grab a med-kit and get themselves here to the complex, the way is clear of enemies so they shouldn't have any problems. Riko-hei's injuries are more serious than my systems lead me to believe."

"Bor's-hei? What's your status please," with the transmission sent he looked over at DarkSky and Misato. "Search the room, then continue on into the next room," he said and made his way toward the far door. "I can get a general idea what this room was used for..." he muttered when he noticed the beds.

Outside

"Yes, Blueberry-Chui is here and has a full Medical kit." Natsumi replied. "We'll make out way to you and Bors as quick as possible." she added.

Sealing up the shuttle and securely locking it, she set her drones to patrol and let her know immediately if anyone attempted to tamper with it.

"Lets see how fast we can get to them" Natsumi said, activating her MINDY's anti-grav system. She was getting worried for her roomie. She hovered a foot off the ground, then kicked forward, accelerating to a quick pace into the facility.

With Natsumi's drones set to keep watch over the shuttle, Blueberry deployed her own, using them to scout ahead as they flew in to meed up with the Armor team.

Secret Door Opening

"Alive-ish, found a door as well"

Bors messaged to Takeyu as he glanced over at his readouts on his suit. Apparently I'm a zombie... he thought to himself, These suits really are something..

"I'm fine you don't need to help me up." Bors said to Mitsuko, his stubbornness very clear on his voice. "...but thanks though"
