"Focus your fire!" shouted Takeyu to those present as he pulled Darksky out of the line of fire, when he was certain the soldier wasn't in the danger of being hit he was able to turn his full focus on the ripper.

He hid behind cover for a brief moment, looked to see if anyone was in the way, then fired a grenade at the Ripper before continuing his fire.

Facility

In the cover of smoke, the bullethole-covered Ripper moved to get away from the combined fire, narrowly avoiding Takeyu's grenade. There was no room to dodge and stabbed its aether blade into Misato's abdomen as it plowed over her riding the grenade blastwave, causing massive injury to the neko. It then moved deeper into the facility.

Outside

Blueberry put Bors into the back of the shuttle and went to the cockpit. She lifted it off and brought it back to the Eucharis, in a few moments, Bors was naked in the medical lab getting fixed up in a tank of shoulder-deep synthetic healing blood, which was quickly fixing him up so he could get back in action.

Misato started to scream as the blade ripped into her guts, but all that came out was a gurgling sound. As she started to fall her suit's system started it's life-support systems, attempting to heal her wounds, or at least make her stable. As she hit the ground she felt the impact heavily in her abdomen, causing her her grunt again. 'get up... get up...Get Up' was running through her head.

Ether - Cave Entrance

Mitsuko nodded to the other Neko before she entered the shuttle. As soon as Tomomi was ready she'd move to rejoin the others, hardly noticing as the shuttle took off behind them.

Takeyu cursed as he watched Misato take a hit and ran up toward the soldier and slid to her side and let off some fire at the fleeing Ripper. With another series of curses he looked down at Misato and then over at the team.

Natsumi is down, as are Misato and DarkSky, no way to continue this mission, not without the risk of losing essential personnal.

"Team, status check please," he asked and knelt down beside Misato to help the young girl up.

Med Lab

Bors hadn't realized how much of internals were missing until he was removed from his Power Armor and nearly died on the spot. As he floated around in the HS tank he somewhat enjoyed the searing pain in his chest, knowing that he was going to be back to normal somewhat soonish. Sure as hell beats waking up in some strange operating room, would be more worried about what was missing then replaced at that point.

As he waited for his body to be regenerated, Bors stared at his faint reflection in the tanks glass and thought about what Blueberry said earlier about becoming a neko. Giving a shug he lifted his and out of the HS Blood and drew a set of cat ears over his reflection before making a paw motion with his hands and mumbled 'nyaa' to himself.

"Hmm I do make a horrible neko." he said out loud before relaxing again in the tank.

Misato allowed Takeyu to help her up, she felt like crap warmed over a ration stove. Though she knew she had to complete the mission at all cost, if she didn't someone else would have to and they would be at risk.

"Sir, I'm still... functional and ready to move on. I need... We need to finish the mission." Once she finished reporting she started coughing, the taste of blood was strong in her mouth.

Leaning heavily against the wall she checked over her Sub-Machine gun, and changed the magazine. Once her weapon was loaded she moved forward, sliding along the wall toward where the ripper disappeared off to.

Underground Facility

Suddenly, all the lights in the facility went out. Meanwhile, the Mishhuvurthyar forces continued to hide somewhere. Using RADAR, Misato could make out the doorway to the South appeared to be clear with a little room beyond it and there were two doors 4 meters to the North, one of which was open. A misty cloud of smoke hung in the air.

Misato continued north sliding along the wall, she just wasn't strong enough to stand all the way up. She wanted to look into the room that the door was left opened on. As she approached the open doorway she cautiously moved around in front of the door way, by cutting the pie, allowing her radar and other sensors to pick up anything ahead.

Takeyu had done a classic double take, he had looked at Misato and had seen her move out of the corner of his eye while he was turning to look at Natsumi and then quickly shot a look as Misato's fleeing back. "Misato-Ittô Hei get your ass back over here that's an order!" he shouted, anger laced in his tone.

Nayacesen-Taii to Eucharis, I have three soldiers in need of medical treatment, request a medical team be sent.

He then looked over to see if Misato was going to follow his orders, or whether he'd have to report to the Shôshô that one of his squadmates ran off in defiance of orders...

His order cut through her blood lust, Misato realized that she was trying to go after a ripper and who knew what else on her own. She slowly retreated, keeping her weapon trained on the open door till she reached the Taii. "Sir, after running a secondary diagnostic test on myself I found that I'm a lot more damaged then I originally thought."

Takeyu glared at Misato as he listened and watch her return. "Running off on a vendetta to take out a person who injured is a recipe for disaster, that Ripper running away may have done so because to try and lure you into a trap."

He then looked ovar at the others. "Help me out here, we need to assess our injuries to determine whether we can keep going forward. And what is taking Tomomi and Mitsuko so long..."

Mitsuko reflexively switched to nightvision when the lights went out, moving to join the others. She arrived in the larger room, wary about entering that passage after what happened last time. She stood near the entrance to the narrow corridor, making sure everyone knew she had arrived. Murakami kept an eye on the door the others had returned from earlier, in case any of the locals decided to loop around and attempt to sneak up on them.

When he first returned to consciousness, Jonathan thought the blast that knocked him out had damaged his suit's visual sensors as well. To test this theory, he activated the spotlight built into his Mindy's head. Relieved that his sight was still present, he then pulled up a detailed condition report. His shield's effectiveness was degraded, though still somewhat useful; it was highlighted in a brilliant yellow. The only other damage were light scratches consistent with power armor falling to the ground, and a few dents to the outer armor of his helmet.

"Nitô Hei DarkSky, returning to duty," he said as he clambered to his feet. Disengaging his armor's spotlight, the battered yet combat effective infantryman switched to his radar sensors, and added an IR overlay to the resulting returns. The product was a fine meshing of depth and contrast. "My shield could use a few patches, but other than that I have no breaches to my armor."

Having been moved since his KO, Jonathan took a moment to look around and reorient himself.

As soon as the lights went out Natsumi switched to night vision and RADAR. "Just what we need, a power outage" she grumbled.

She decided it was best to wait for the others to be ready before deciding to advance or not. So she took up a defensive position where she could spray fire down the corridor if any hostiles decided to move on them in the dark.

"Glad you're back with us, DarkSky-Hai" she said as the infantryman got back to his feet

Tomomi returned with Mistsuko in her "shiny new" Mindy. She joined up with the others and waited to see what Takeyu needed her to do.

Lack of contact? What the heck? We talked with them briefly but didn't need the assistance at the time... so how is it that there was a lack of contact? Takeyu pondered for a few brief moments.

"Form a perimeter," he told the team. "I want weapons and armor suit checks before we continue, if you feel your suit is too breached to handle a possible parasite invasion let me know and I'll keep you in the back. Otherwise, if you're not to injured then I'll let you stay with the team."

He then turned toward Misato. "And just how damaged are you?" he asked the soldier, keeping his voice calm even though he was annoyed that she ran off. "Will you be able to keep going?"

"Parasites?" Mitsuko squeaked in response, before moving where directed. She checked her weapons again - this was the third or fourth time now - while waiting for their next move.

Throughout the facility, water began to shower down as the emergency sprinkler system activated. The temperature readings were also rapidly dropping inside the facility. Within moments, the reception room already had a few centimeters of icy water on the floor.
