Mitsuko turned from where she'd been waiting, mentally organizing the beginnings of a report on everything that had happened on Ether. She smiled in return. "Okay...Misato-chan..." She seemed pleased with the term of address, glad that Suzume appeared to be feeling better. Things had been a bit rough on the ride back. "Actually, if you want, back in training they used to call me-" She was cut off as Misato continued. "Shower?"

Murakami moved to follow her roommate. "I'll carry your uniform for you, then." She lifted it a bit. "...I um...I think the captain is in the Wardroom with the rest of the crew, having dinner. We can head there together." Then Mitsuko frowned at the garment she was holding up. "What do you think of this new uniform, anyway? This skirt is so...short..."

Showers

"I don't know it looks good on you." Misato stepped under a stream of water and dropped her holo-bathing suit. She went about to cleaning the tank juice and combat crude off of herself. looking up her curiousness got the best of her, "What did they call you back in training, and by the way call me Suzume, Misato is my Sir-name." She finished washing up and toweled off. Once she was dry she took the prescribed uniform and put it on and looked into the mirror. "Still looks better on you then me."

Wardroom

"Hey guys sorry I'm late..." Came Ramiro's voice as he entered the room, slowly trailing away as he realized the room was empty. Okay then. Walking over to the buffet, he grabbed himself a rather large helping of salmon. He also grabbed some of the rice and broccoli, but there wasn't much room left on the plate and thus he didn't wind up with that much of a side. Not like he cared, he loved salmon.

Walking over to the table, he took a seat and began eating.

Showers

Mitsuko politely turned her back as Misato stepped into the shower. "Oh...the other girls called me 'Mimi'. Suzume-chan, then..." She handed over the uniform when Misato exited the shower, finally turning back to take a look once her roommate finished dressing. She smiled at the grey Neko. "I'm not sure about that...you're much taller than me. These skirts work better with long legs..."

Now that Misato was recovered and redressed, Murakami was ready to accompany her to the Wardroom. Hopefully the rest of the crew had left them plenty to eat.

Eucharis

By the time Misato and Mitsuko hit the showers, Jonathan was already back at his room, donning one of the new uniforms laid out on his bunk for him. Even though he'd been in the Star Army since he'd been manufactured, he hadn't had much exposure to the non-infantry uniform patterns. As such, as he clasped the belt about his waist, he nodded. It was a comfortable fit, though he didn't particularly favor the high collar.

Wardroom, before Bors arrival
Having just missed Hanako on her way to the bridge, Jonathan made his way up the stairs to the wardroom, mildly surprised to find it empty. The Captain he knew was headed elsewhere, probably on some urgent matter or another. He had no doubts there was someone up on the bridge, keeping an eye on things as the ship went from point A to point B. His fellow soldiers were under repair, or at the least cleaning up from their dips in the tanks. That left somewhere around half of the crew unaccounted for, if he had things correct. Giving the air a sniff, he wrinkled his nose.

Seafood.

If there was one thing he disliked as much as the Badguy of the Week, it was seafood. There was something about it that just did not agree with his tongue and nose. He gave a soft sigh and stepped into the kitchen, looking for Lime or Mango, with the intention of arranging for something a little less disagreeable, according to his taste-buds at least.

Wardroom

Misato followed her roommate up into the wardroom, she was glad she had such a kind person for a roommate. she chuckled at the name she was told about, "Mimi... I like it." Misato was trying the fact that she was worried about the Sho'Sho' and what she was going to do about Misato's failure on the surface.

Though when they got into the wardroom the CO was no where to be seen, the was Bors and Darksky but no one else. So she walked over to the buffet and started making a plate. As soon as she set the plate down and sat down herself she spoke up, "Bors How you feeling now that you aren't one of the living dead anymore?"

Wardroom

As Takeyu arrived, having been walking a slow pace due to being deep in thought, he noticed that while most of the crew were there - there was on exception: Hanako wasn't. He looked around briefly and pondered whether the captain had gotten busy with something and was just late herself.

He didn't really pick out much to eat, just got himself a salad and something to drink before sitting down, his mind still racing with what he could've done better.

Wardroom

Natsumi had been in the wardroom seated at the corner of one table happily eating her dinner as the others trickled in. Upon entering the compartment she had aquired a large portion of salmon and calimari. The smell of seafood tickling her nose with yummy delight.

As Natsumi happily chomped on her fish and squid she couldn't help but notice the expression of distaste on Darksky's face as he saw what was on the menu after entering the wardroom. She was surprised to see some sort of emotion on the otherwise collected and emotionless seeming infantry neko. Was his cool ultra-professional exterior finally ceacking? She pondered as she eat a piece of salmon.

Every time she had seen Darksky in the short time he had been aboard his demeanor had been all business, even when they were under fire in the enemy base he had not shown any emotion in the heat of battle. She didn't even know if he socialized with anyone in the crew. Maybe now was a good time to see if he wanted a friend.

Getting up, Natsumi picked up her plate and walked over to where he was. "Hi, Darksky-Hey" she greeted cheerfully, the auroma of the salmon and calamari wafting around them

Kitchen

Mango was in the kitchen cleaning. As she spotted Jonathan invading her territory, her eyes narrowed. "What are you doing in here?" she coolly interrogated him.

Bridge + Wardroom

After Helen left, Hanako briefly attended to some matters in the Senate of Yamatai and then returned to the wardroom. "Did you notice the tree?" she asked, referring to the one in the crew lounge the cabins connected to.

Wardroom

Ramiro continued to eat, mostly ignoring the junior enlisted as they entered. Although, he did give a nod to Takeyu when he entered the room. When Hanako entered Ramiro responded with a quick, "Not yet Shosho, I haven't had a chance to be down in the crew lounge yet. Although I'm sure it's as lovely as the previous years. I'm assuming Plumeria ornaments again? I seem to remember somebody giving us additional presents last year. It wasn't either Chusa or yourself. Hmm, now I can't seem to remember."

Personal Quarters

Bors sighed as he poked the blank area in the middle of his heavily tattooed torso.

"Gonna have to get something to put there soon...seems a bit out of place"

He grumbled out loud to himself. After being let out of the tank Bors had grabbed a quick shower before grabbing his old uniform and returning to his cabin. When he noticed the the new uniform lying on his bed he was somewhat suprised and also a bit agitated, thinking that he had hardly worn in his current one I swear this army changes uniforms faster than I change magazines in a firefight..

Sighing again Bors put on the rest of his new uniform, shrugging at his reflection as if to say 'eh not bad' before heading out to the wardroom to grab some much needed food.

Wardroom

As Bors entered the wardroom he made a beeline for the serving area, filling his plate with a good portion of calamari and some salmon before grabbing himself a drink and plopping himself down into an empty chair. As he was munching on his food, thinking about the previous mission as well as other things he had to do, he barely noticed Misato talking to him.

"Good, considering i could be a corpse-sickle at the moment, but instead I'm sitting here eating what appears to be a distant cousin of the thing that shot me." As he talked his hand subconsciously rubbed recently healed hole in his chest.

Wardroom

Mitsuko blushed as she was called that. It had been a while. It sounded much nicer when she wasn't being teased. She followed her roommate toward the food, lingering a bit longer at the serving area. Murakami took her time, carefully piling her plate with a rather generous amount of food before sitting down next to Suzume.

When she heard the captain's voice, Mitsuko suddenly sat up very straight. "Tree?" She blinked, eyes darting about behind those glasses as she tried to recall. After a moment, she nodded to herself. She could dimly remember noting it as being rather out of place, but she'd been too distracted by other things to look any closer while passing by.

Murakami had only been a few months old last December, and had been far too busy with training and work to do much celebrating. She was somewhat aware of the seasonal traditions, but hadn't experienced it herself, or thought to do any personal research. She'd have to take some time and see what this was all about.

Wardroom

"I'll have to check it out later," smiled Takeyu as he sipped his drink and glanced at the rest of the crew, taking note that someone was missing. "Ma'am, what's next on the agenda?" he asked.

Armor Bay

Tomomi grabbed the discarded AMES suit she was wearing earlier. Once she arrived at an empty stall for her Mindy, she quickly changed back into the suit as she didn't have any thing else to wear. Since her suit was brand "new" to the fight, she simply annotated the status of the Mindy in the

Cabin 5

Tomomi pulled out her spare working uniform from where her locker. Slipping out of the suit she was wearing, she promptly put on the new uniform. Adjusting it so it would be presentable, she left her cabin for the wardroom once she was satisfied.

Wardroom

Tomomi eyes the tree as she headed for the food. She stood in line and grabbed what food she liked that was offered. She sat down from her usual slightly standoffish distance from the others.

Upper Wardroom

Yes Ma'am I did. just thought I would put something in my new tummy before going and decorating it." Misato went back to eating, She thought that she would have not been hungry after being gutted like that. Now she was thinking she was going to need another serving. She wondered if Mimi-chan wanted to decorate the tree with her.

The Wardroom

"Yaichiro and Sune gave presents," Hanako answered Ramiro. "Now they are both ship captains and I do not know if anyone but me is planning on giving gifts. We are going to stop by Yamatai if you want to shop."

She went to the end of the table and sat down there. "After stopping at Yamatai, we are going to go around for a while and catalog some planets down in the frontiers of the south and maybe give support to some of the operations down there against the NMX. After the diplomatic incident, we should stay out of the North for a while. For now, we should talk about the mission we just failed while it is fresh."

Wardroom

"Presents?" She liked the sound of that. Until she realized she'd have to give presents as well as receive them. Mitsuko wasn't sure she'd have enough time to prepare for this, but at least a shopping trip was already planned. She was beginning to work on a list of possible gifts for the other crew members when Hanako brought up the last mission. Murakami tensed up, mind shifting to other worries.

She was suddenly very interested in the plate of food in front of her.

Wardroom

"Yaichiro, that was the one," Ramiro responded as he pointedly waved he finger through the air. "Couldn't remember his name for some reason." After taking a drink of water, he paused to allow Hanako to talk before speaking up. "Well, I haven't been briefed on the results of the away team, but what I saw from the bridge was that there wasn't much we could do in regards to our mission. We went looking for a group of people who simply were not there, which begs the question of where are they and where did they go?"

Wardroom

"Well, we did not find an Occhestian separatist planet but we did get some valuable information. SAINT is investigating further. I am more concerned with our defeat by the NMX on Ether. That could have gone better," Hanako understated. "Our mission was to capture NMX mind-transfer equipment and their Nekovalkyrja-creation information. What are some things we did well on the mission?"

Wardroom

Ramiro's jaw dropped as he read a news bulletin that had been tagged as "Urgent" by one an independent media source that he frequently subscribed to. He wasn't even halfway through before his eyes drifted slowly up to Hanako.

He close his mouth and clenched his jaw before he spoke, his voice very soft and quiet. "It appears that SAINT must have been getting close to their answer, because Lor just told the universe why we couldn't find any separatists."

As he said this, he laid his communicator on the table and slid it over to Hanako so she could read.
