Shuttle 2
Sienna walked through the main compartment, still toting her helmet beneath her arm. She saw a figure sitting in the pilot's seat, clad in that imposing power armor, turn to look over its shoulder as it detected her approach. It took her a second to realize it was Natsumi again after it addressed her in that friendly manner; she wasn't sure how long it was going to take before she got used to the contrast between her personality and armored appearance.
"If you'd spent four years underground ya'd know that was a dumb question," she replied noncommittally, oddly without any expression or outward sign of interest. She stepped up into the flight compartment and took the seat behind the Neko pilot, holding the opening to her helmet in front of her face. Examining the rim, she noted several locking points and a polymer-rubberlike seal ring around the edge, but couldn't deduce how to secure it from just looking at it; the suit didn't seem to have the same points around her collar. Twisting her lips in thought, she elected to simply pull it on and see if anything became more apparent. Maybe if she--

That was it. She wasn't sure exactly how it sealed, but pulling it over her head and giving it just a little turn made it pop into place. She heard a faint hiss as the suit's life support systems came online. "Well I'll be damned," she muttered softly. She gave the helmet one or two raps with her knuckles, and jiggled it a little to test it. Sure enough, it was securely in place. It didn't wobble even a bit.
She looked over her hands and arms, on her belt, and anywhere else she could conceivably see, but she couldn't find a transmit button for comms. Looking down past the tip of her nose, she could see the telltale signs of some manner of microphone built into the helmet just below her mouth, but how was she supposed to activate it to talk to anyone?
She tapped the side of her helmet with her index finger hesitantly. Maybe there wasn't any transmit button - maybe Yamataian radios could receive and transmit simultaneously, and it was always on. "Hey Natsumi," she asked, looking at the back of the Neko's armor, "can ya hear me?"
