RP: Yome Ismâopate Mission 3.0 – Avenging the betrayed (Pilajo yleg’te )

All Murr could do was give Keyul a affirmative guesture as she kicked or removed the discarded weapons away from the Prisoners to remove the temptation of being grabbed and used against them. Soon she had a nice collection of weapons piled up outside the Niko Yarme perimeter. She brought it to the closest ones attention that the weapons were there.

Once she had confirmation from the Niko Yarme that she/he were aware of the pile of weapons, Murr moved off to join up with Keyul and La'ta . She sent a secure text to Keyul, ::Should we start rounding up those inside buildings to join these here? ::

La'tâ noticed the dropped weapons and began to dispose of them much like Murr, making sure they could not be used against them. Once it was all said and done the Tula sat back in her chair and took a moment to relax and clear her mind a bit. She began to use her Vit'taka abilities as she walked the perimeter, trying to count hos many life forms were around. Her stako's sensors were more accurate, but there were ways to interfere with the results, so she stuck to what she was raised with since speed was not needed.

"The temptation to live on a planet is strong, even I find myself wanting to explode and see the assortment of plants and wildlife on the planet." She smiled softly just thinking about it, but she remained diligent and on task.

Keyul considered Murr's request. "No, the only ones we should round up are those we left back at the one structure. Our mission was to deal with hostiles. I do not want to start forcing people from their homes without good cause. After all the Yome does not have the space to haul all of these people. The Tonai will have to make a decision about what to do with the rest of the population." he said. "Send two of the Niko's down to retrieve the other prisoners. I think I want to stand outside for a bit and breath the air." He sent to Murr, and cycled his hatch.

Keyul slowly climbed out of his Stako and stood beside it. He lifted his face to the saeruo, and breathed in the natural air.

La'tâ could sense the presence of others, being in her stako limited how far she could reach out. Also there were gaps in her ability to sense. For example the 'prisoners' who were standing on the road were invisible to her gift. One of the things that stood out was that there was a group of baqli behind one of the nearby buildings.

With orders received, Murr sent off quick text on a broadband , yet secured frequency that the Niko Yarme were using.

:: Niko Hunt Leader. Assign two of your Hunters to retrieve three Armor Operators in the building closest to the destroyed Battle Bear and Stakos. They've been wounded and treated. There is a local healer with her helpers are with them. Use them for the local Poku Resistance that need medical attention. Sâvyjo'sa Whisk. Thank you for your cooperation and assistance.::

She smiled at the added part as she felt Poku superiority rise in her. She quickly squashed it as they were willing to risk all to come to their team's aid. These Niko Yarme were her shipmates and had to be given a fair chance to prove themselves as she was constantly doing in working around her handicap of being mute in the toughest occupation where the best specimens excelled at. And so far to date, she felt the pride of achievement of making it this far. And her Mother would be proud that she showed appreciation to an Outsider to the Poku.

Murr glanced at Keyul, a bit surprised at see him out side his armor once again. She looked him over for any recurring damage to his already wounded side.

La'tâ took a moment of pause when she noticed that not everything withing range was showing up "Keyul-Sar...I tried using my Vit'taka and some of those here do not seem to be registering with my senses." Her voice portrayed her feelings of confusion, a rare occurrence for her. Though she was rather confused she first made sure to check on the baqli, rounding the corner and activating her speaker at a volume that was easily understood and tolerable. "We are not here to hurt you. Just come out into the open and we'll let you be."

Several of the baqli cautiously came around the corner of the building. They froze with their eyes wide when they saw the 'stako' towering above them. A smaller female baqli squeaked and said, "Cool, a new stako."

The leader of the Niko squad sent two of her team to go and gather the other prisoners. She then replied to Murr, "We are one clan, we are honored to serve and repay those who saved us."

Keyul mean while was feeling a bit out of sort. He activated his wrist comm. First he accessed his Stako's sensor logs, then he sent a message to team "La'tâ, the 'colonists' have laid induction power lines under the road. That much energy will interfer with even the... strongest... gift." He tried to shift his position as he experienced more pain. He saw that La'tâ had managed to coax some of the baqli to her. He fought to take a decent breath and his chest was filled with fire. He sent a message to Murr using his neural link. ::Having difficult breathing... pressure in chest:: he slumped against his stako and then to the ground as everything started going gray.

Murr responded quickly to Keyul's side. She sent a flash signal to La'ta that her presence was needed with Keyul their Hunt Leader. Once that was done. She sent a urgent Priority message to Yome Ismaopate for immediate Medical EVAC for Keyul and retrieval of his Stako. From the looks of him La'ta would need all the help from Ismaopate.

If she could growl, she would growl and yeowl. Murr looked around for something to take her rage out on. But she had to keep it together for the sake of the Team, Niko Yarme and show of force to the illegal colonist. She sent a message to the Niko Yarme Leader to send over their Medic to assist La'ta till Medivac showed up. At this time she could care less whose paws she was stepping on. She cared for Keyul as if he was her brother. She vibrated with energy, causing her Stasko to bounce lightly. She was hyper alert with no outlet for it.

La'tâ had her back to Keyul as she worked with the Baqli, trying to usher them into the open so they don't make any pilots nervous sneaking around. However the alert caught her attention, her mind trained to notice any emergency message right away. She turned her Stako and moved over to Keyul and Murr, putting her Stako into standby and practically jumping out with her medical kit as she rushed over. The wounds were bad enough before, but now she didn't know if it was something she missed or something caused more trauma after, and if she could even move him.

She began to examine Keyul, pulling out a medical scanner in the process. She didn't need a modern technology however to notice his irregular breathing and fading consciousness though. She wanted to fix both problems but the breathing was more important and she needed to make sure she gave him the right treatment. She propped up the scanner and let it do it's job while she prepared a vial of Iasa Niuos. "Keyul, it's me La'tâ, if you can hear me, just scrunch your face, don't try to move." As she spoke she injected him to try and alleviate his breathing problems.

Keyul scrunched his face, of course it could also have been an involuntary response to the pain he was in. The scanner showed that he was bleeding internally and it was filling the space around his lungs making it hard for him to breath. It also showed that a small piece of metal had punctured the pleura. Something that probably had moved after La'tâ had treated him. Probably due to Keyul's moving around.

Over the communications came a message. "This is Dyet'una da. Diverting to your location to provide medivac. ETA 5 minutes. "

One of the Niko Yarme exited her Stako and came over to La'tâ. She moved around to the other side of Keyul and used her body to prop him up to keep him still and also cause the fluids to move lower in the chest cavity.

La'tâ's heart sank when the scan was completed and the results came in. She had missed something earlier and now Keyul was in pain and at a lot of risk. She was actually panicked for a moment, but when the Niko Yarme showed up the young Tula managed to collect herself. She then lightly slapped her own face to focus and took a deep breath. She turned her attention to the Baqli she just got through with and called out as she put on a pair of sanitary gloves. "Baqli, I need a bunch of clean towels, a large bowl of warm water and an empty bowl as well!" She knew medics would arrive in only a few minutes but if they didn't get the shrapnel out before moving him it'd just get worse. She did not just sit and wait around though, she injected Keyul with Iasa Luqar to give it time to take effect and removed his jendomu to get him ready for treatment. The most important spot was finding and marking a spot where she could make an incision to get the shrapnel out safely as well as take care of the other internal injury that was causing the bleeding. "I'm going to have to open his chest cavity to drain the blood and to get the shrapnel."

Murr felt useless as the two medics worked on Keyul. She looked around, seeing the ruined heavy armor in the closest spot to Keyul and the Two medics where a shuttle could land with ease. She moved off towards the Abandoned Power Armors. She pointed to several of the more braver locals that were beginning to step out of their homes now that the fighting was over with.

Murr motioned for several of the biggest Puko males and then pointed at the ruined Battle Bear and Stakos. She grabbed one and began to drag it off to the side.

The locals seeing their chance at redemption, jumped at the chance to assist Murr, The Silent One as they dubbed her, to move the Stakos and Battle Bear off to the side to a location of her choosing.

Once that was cleared out, Murr set down a homing beacon for the Medivac Shuttle to home in on. She sent a quick text message back to the Dyet'una da. :: Homing Beacon activated. Sar Whisk. :: She moved out of the impromptu landing zone, to the Ruined power armors. She did a quick scan to make sure none of the ordinance had been removed by the locals when moving the ruined battle armor.

Murr faced the Niko Yarme Team Leader and nodded, while giving her the high sign of approval. She looked over the situation seeing things were under control. The locals that helped Murr move the ruined armor, returned back to their family groupings.

The sound of the shuttle could be heard and getting closer. The civilians looked up and watched the approaching vehicle.

Tona listened to La'tâ, "I defer to you Sar. I have only basic medical training at present. But I will assist as needed."

Keyul's vitals were mixed, the infusion of Iasa Niuos helped increase the oxygen levels in his blood, but the internal bleeding was causing his blood pressure to steadily drop.

One of the colonists approached Murr, "Sar, you might want to have the shuttle land a little further on the road. There is a drainage culvert under that spot. It might collapse."

La'tâ was already frustrated at the lack of a suitable working area but when the colonist approached and spoke a bit uncharacteristically. "Qopo! Everything is going wrong at once!" She reached for her communicator, still agitated and spoke in a tone that oozed displeasure as she vocally vented. "There is a sâjobu culvert under your LZ. It can't support your weight so get closer to the road." She clicked off the mic with a near hiss and then looked around. "Someone hurry those baqli up! I can't start without at least the bowls!" Her tools were ready, she just needed to at least sanitary surface under Keyul to at least lay him down on while she worked.

Murr nodded and moved the Landing Beacon onto the road where it could land safely. She heard La'ta hiss and stressed out voice of worry (at least to her perspective) giving orders. She had done everything she could do. Seeing the situation that Keyul needed something clean to lay on. She moved up in her stako and sat down with her legs stretched out in front of her and together. She motioned to La'ta and Tona to move Keyul onto her Stako lower legs as an impromptu operating table with his head next to the body of the power armor.

She then could use the arms of the Stako to bracket in Keyul and be used as tool and equipment tray for La'ta to work from. Since La'ta was already tied into her Stako network, La'ta could use her Stako's sensors to use as needed on Keyul.

A moment later two baqli who appeared to be close to the age of baqnor came running up with an assortment of bowls. "Sorry, we broke the first ones getting them out of the cabinets." they said together. They then placed them on the ground next to La'tâ.

La'tâ smiled when the baqli returned with what she needed. Despite her current situation and mental state she was still able to at least put on a pleasant aura around younglings. With her tools already prepared and her work already planned out, she did not hesitate to begin working. With the scan results she was able to make incisions near the wounds and not have to make large cuts. After making the incision La'tâ took the time to rig up a pump to remove the excess blood in the chest cavity. Once she handed the pump handle to her assistant she got to the serious work. She took a pair of medical tweezers and her scalpel and worked at removing the shrapnel from Keyul's chest. The last step was using a Fiqorous'sa Usapo'te to heal all the tissue properly, which she worked at diligently.

The Shuttle altered its landing point away from the culvert and with the hatch pointing towards the team. Two Qaktoro came out carrying a stretcher. They stood a short distance from the others so as to not interfere with the healer.

La'tâ's scanner showed that Keyul's vitals were stabilizing, and actually starting to move toward normal. The two warriors came closer and put the stretcher on the ground where Keyul could be easily moved to.

Above the group a Beâgor'a Âdor circled above. "Once we get your leader aboard the craft. They'll come down to pickup his stako and yours if you want to ride back with him."

La'tâ let out a sigh of relief when she noticed Keyul's vitals stabilizing. She was not totally confident in the operation she just did, after all she already failed to clear the shrapnel once. However when spoken to she looked towards them. "Yes, carefully get him onto the stretcher, and I'll accompany him back as well. I want to monitor his condition until he gets to the infirmary at least."

Murr listened to them converse. There wasn't much she could at the moment as the last of the team would depart with Medivac ship. She looked at the Neko Yarme' team as she moved to secure the two Stakos. Keyuls and La'ta's. She looked over the village of Pokus, as they looked at her and the Neko Yarme team. There wasn't much she could do, except provide security on the equipment.

She began working on her debriefing report on what transpired. The good and the bad. Even put in a good word for those remained nonviolent and helped out.

Murr hoped that Keyul would recover and she hated to see La'ta's confidence in herself shaken. She hoped the Tula would recover for Murr still had a lot of confidence in La'ta. Mistakes happen and this was how you learned. Hopefully not at someone else's expense.

At least she was able to spend more time on a living planet. She had her vents open to allow the fresh air to circulate within the Stako. She used the Stakos equipment to record a few pictures for herself to view later at her leisure. Another planet under the domain of the Poku. She hopefully that soon World-station and the nearby occupied dead planets would be all a fading memory to be visited in the annuals of history and in the classrooms of the youth.

A short while later a transport came to gather Murr and the others to take them to the Yome which was now on the surface. The fighting was over, now matters were in the hands of the bureaucrats.
