Being about dead center of the evacuation the VOID was essentially useless. Friendlies blocked any chances of him returning fire and he had no P/P-system to aid others in the ascent. The other side of this coin was that he didn't really take any enemy fire, other than the occasional glancing blow. By the time he arrived, Kingston's Power Armor had no shields, but was otherwise unscathed. He turned toward the bay and helped the next PA up after him, and considered continuing to do so, but there were other suits more aptly equipped than his for such a job.

So he marched his VOID over to a corner and climbed out at long last. Some fresh air was nice! None of that hot, sweaty, filtered helmet air anymore. Next came the task of basic cleaning and maintenance, which he began with tireless enthusiasm and clear peace of mind.

Harrison's armor finally caught in the gravity field of the Acadia, and a feeling of being pulled up hard by his shoulders was readily accepted as his thrusters finally kicked into overdrive. The bulky armor suddenly and rapidly increased in acceleration. The thrusters pressed him forward and up, directing his person towards the open hangar doors. It was around this point that damage taken on the ascent finally took its toll on the addled SAVTECH.

"SHIT!" Harrison shouted as, one by one, thrusters cut out. Eventually, he was being propelled forward by two low-output thrusters, the gravity field, and momentum alone. Harrison, out of control, hurtled through the open doors and landed, face down, at around eighty miles per hour. The ex-merc was spared a brutal and flesh-liquifying death on the floor by the gel layers in his armor and the collision assistance protocols the SAVTECH had deployed just before landing, but nevertheless he felt several ribs were going to be bruised, and his forehead had a big red welt running straight across it.

Harrison began prying himself, bit by bit, out of his FIRE. He was glad to be back on the ship, and glad to have held together to the end. "What have I missed?" Harrison said, keeping up a guise of false jocularity to show that he was actually a bit startled and shaken from his landing.

Phaedra's maintenance on her NIGHT was interrupted when Harrison's FIRE abruptly flew into the hangar and slid face-first across the deck. She dropped her tools and quickly strode across the hangar to the FIRE, where Harrison was busy pulling himself out.

"Will! Are you alright?" she said, unsure if he needed assistance.

"What have I missed?" he replied simply. Phaedra offered a hand to help him to his feet.

"I do not think you have missed anything as of yet. Most of the Marines just landed, and the MC has not given any orders."

Talbains Armor made it to the Acadia without taking any serious hits, just glancing blows that served to keep the pilot awake inside the suit. Nearing the ships dock at a slightly off angle he banged against the side of the bay door on his way through but made it with help from the Hostile that had pulled him in. The ID-SOL took about 5 steps into the bay before his tunnel vision became no vision and he blacked out. Deck plates shook as the Aggressor took a face plant and Talbain got a jump on getting his rack-time.

Anselm collapsed into the armor bay, not much of a problem being one of the last marines through the doors; his Savtech requested a medic and technical immediately. Two hostiles hauled the limp Aggressor past the main doors and assisted a medical/technician team in removing ruined bits of armor to get at the marine inside when it became apparent that the two kinetic slugs had broken something more than the Albino's ribs and prevented the armor from being opened normally.

Halfway conscious, Anselm had enough time to regret getting yet another piece of equipment smashed up again, 'this is getting old, they'll be calling me 'Can Opener Wyatt' before long'.

Henry eventually got back onto the Acadia, staggering in what was left of the suit. The shields were completely out, but the hull was intact and Henry was alive. He made his way over to the Armour repairs, and started to unsuit.

He let the suit fall apart in almost cartoon fashion as best as he could, but it only opened halfway, and he had to squeeze out of it in his trunks, requiring a bit of assistance from some nearby technicians. The armour was intact and just needed repairs and a refit, and it'd be good to go.
Inside his armour, he felt like he could inflict serious pain. Outside, just an engineer once again.

"Remind... me not to do that, again," He paused for a bit, shaking his head as he started getting his clothes back on. He had his pants, singlet, boots, beret and datapad next to him as he took look at Anslem's armour.

"Hold on a second, Anslem," He took a moment to inspect the various plates of the armour, "Let me just assess the damage to your armour, and I'll try and shoehorn you out of there."

He then turned around to a toolbox and picked up an armour prying device, some screwdrivers, a hammer, and a crowbar.
"Just hold still," He assured as he walked towards the albino marine.

At the sound of a falling suit, Kingston looked up. He could have sworn it was a member of his team in the unmoving suit. Instincts kicked in, and Viktor beat even the medics to the scene, but it was no good; he'd fallen forward. So he scrambled back to his VOID, climbed in, sans helmet, and lumbered over to the unconscious Talbain. It was a bit awkward at first, but Private Kingston managed to pick up the other Power Armor by gripping it beneath the shoulder joints.

With the aid of another man in a Hostile, the Aggressor was righted. Each suit supported one side, and the VOID maintained this while Viktor climbed out. He clambered onto to the Aggressor's shoulders and upon its opening, confirmed his theory. Next came the process of freeing Talbain from the dead machine's innards. The end result was Viktor Kingston and a medic each shouldering one of Talbain's arms and carrying him to the infirmary.

Suku was sitting comfortably in her office chair, entertaining Carina, since the Med-bay had already been prepped and ready to receive the Marines. When she got the notification that the squads were coming back on, she sighed and got up from her chair.

"Okay sweetie! I'm gunna' need you to hide in a cabinet while I get some business done." Suku said, ushering the young girl to one of the cabinets the Medical Officer had cleaned out earlier for just the occasion. "Here." she pulled out her Datajockey and waved it in front the girl, "Play with this while the Marines make the medical bay messy."

With Carina set to the side for the moment, Suku jogged over to her computer, and set the microphone to broadcast an announcement ship-wide.

This is Petty Officer Suku Matsobuki, declaring Post-Combat Medical Protocol in effect. All injured Marines are to report to the Medical Bay, immediately. All uninjured Marines and stand-by personnel are to assist the wounded.

Edward was down in the Acadia's hangar, helping Marines both alive and dead out of their power suits. He was mildly disgusted by the injuries some men had but kept working with a blank, professional mask.

Edward listened carefully to the broadcast and nodded, he looked around and spotted a Hostile suit lying crumpled against a wall. bounding over it was obvious there was a marine inside, Edward didn't know whether the person was unconcious, dead or just tired.
Attempts to open the suit were to no avail as the access hatch was trapped against a wall, Edward called out to any powersuits still up and running "Can I get some help? I can't get at this guy's access panel!."

There were enough people aroudn helping other up so Alex went to do her proper job. Being a medic. Quickly looking over injured, stabilizing them and tellin other to bring over to med bay.

She just finished with man with one arm. Stopped the bleed and send him over to surgeons when she saw a lonely hostile. Man without PA was trying to get person inside out. "Can I get some help? I can't get at this guy's access panel!" he shouted. Alex ran to him. She was still in hostile because getting injured out PA needed brute strenght sometimes. "Sure," she said and tore panel open. It took few seconds, but it gave away. "Here we go," she added and pushed button to open the suit.

Harrison accepted the hand Phaedra was proffering, the dull slap of one metal hand making contact with another metal hand barely audible above the shouting and sounds of heavy machinery in the hangar. He pulled himself upright and nodded his thanks, and was about to head to the mess hall at regular speed.

Then Suku's voice came over the intercom.

Harrison's face immediately drained of all color. The infamous Murderous Matsuboki was back in action? The pain in his bruised ribs suddenly disappeared. The ex-mercenary grinned at Phaedra. "If I die in the medical examination," he said sarcastically, "I want you to have my armor and the booze in my duffel bag." Then he shuffled off towards the medical bay.

He was already dreading this new development. He knew that Suku hated him (and pretty much everyone that had ever served alongside Ran) and thusly he would not be treated with tender affection. He didn't expect to be treated nicely by Marine nurses on a good day, either, but he was afraid Suku would see fit to "discover" a wound by his genitals and decide emergency castration was the "best option".

So when he shuffled into the medical bay, metal arm across his ribcage as if shielding it, the ex-merc grimaced as his eyes turned towards Suku. "Present and accounted for," He grunted sheepishly.

Suku arched a brow at Harrison as he walked in, noting how the man was holding his arm over his chest. The Marine best had hopped that he wasn't trying to fool the girl, because that only served to anger her. The short Medical Officer's face soured into something of dislike.

"What, you want a fucking medal or something?" asked Suku as she grabbed the hand that was hiding Harrison's chest. "Get on the god damn table, and tell me what's wrong with you."

Harrison took a seat on the table, one eyebrow almost permanently cocked the entire way. He perched on the edge of the medical table, and almost immediately gave his ailments.

"Bruised ribs." The ex-merc said quickly. "It's really probably nothing, but I thought I should probably get it checked out anyways."

The MC was outside his damaged suit and was distributing universal keys to a number of able bodied marines he could round up. "We have twice the amount of recommended marines in here and we have suits damaged and undamaged all over the hangar bay. Space is a premium, and we still have one N/F-A to store." About this time he ran out of digital keys, he only gave them to those outside a suit, there were some M8s and M9s listening in. "Those with keys, get into any working suit you find lying around in the bay and pilot it to storage downstairs." He then turned to those in PAs. "If there is a suit too damaged to move, you men haul it. Clear?"

The marines, still grateful for the evac, responded with a rousing "SIR!" and Fian waved them on their way. With all savable marines already onboard either the Acadia or Emden, both Hrays have started their ascent back into space. Both ships were angled towards the night sky, but artificial gravity kept the marines on their feet.

The Nepleslian then dropped to a brisk run to the bridge, he had to report the current situation and give thanks to Captain Peters. Along the way he passed the crew quarters, some of the empty rooms were converted to casualty beds for the wounded. At the canteen, the caretaker crew was working overtime to feed the horde marines assembled, most of them were soldiers not from the Acadia and they did not know where else wait in the meantime before they were returned to their respective units. To supplement the output, storage containers with MREs were also laid out.

The massive Nerimium door that protected the bridge was in place just in case any of the evacuated marines was a security risk. Fian opted to take the side door from his personal room instead in discretion. He stepped inside after fumbling around his pockets for the appropriate keycard.

"Bruised ribs." The ex-merc said quickly. "It's really probably nothing, but I thought I should probably get it checked out anyways."

"What?" Suku said with a shocked and disbelieving face. A gloved hand rose to her face, and a heavy sigh erupted from her mouth. It seemed as if someone had told her something and she just couldn't help but face-palm to the stupidity of it. With a quick motion, she whipped out her Hypolathe and slapped Harrison the ribs lightly. With that sharp pained caused to him, she jabbed the needle into his arm, injecting some painkiller.

"No harsh physical activity for a day or two, let yourself recover." explained the Doctor as she grabbed Harrison by the shoulder, pulling him off the table and pushing him towards the door. "Now get the fuck out of here you fat pussy, and don't come back unless you're bleeding or missing an arm!"

Jan managed to, by hitching a ride behind the fighter, get onto the Acadia, still missing his right hand. Unsure of what to do, Jan looked at where his right hand used to be, staring at it for a good ten seconds before deciding to go see a medic.

Walking into the Med-Bay, Jan waved his hand-less right arm, smiling. "I kinda just killed a NMX Gunship, and lost my hand."

Harrison was on his way out when Jan passed him. The soldier was holding a nub that may have been a hand once, but looked as though it had been severely truncated. As in, it was missing all five fingers and the palm as well. The Marine was taking it like a man; though, and Harrison grudgingly admitted himself to respect the newbie a bit.

"Saw your kill on the squad feed." Harrison grunted, a certain tone of jealous respect in his voice. "Pretty ballsy stuff, man." Then he took his leave of the medical bay and headed for the hangar, looking to see what he could do to help out with the others.

Sam's armor had caught a few gauss shots from the Rippers as she ascended; the metal armor had been scorched away and her skin was burned slightly, the bits of the body suit clinging to her wounds. She was startled at the pain, and as she took a few potshots at the Shredders, they all flew wild, though her armor took care of the missiles that came after her.

As she landed in the bay and clambered out of her armor, she hissed in pain at the air hitting her burns and the skin flexing as she moved. She limped towards the medbay.

With lying hostile open Alex took few steps back. MC gave everyone orders. She had PA but she was a medic. It would be stupid for her to haul dead PAs around when there is so many wounded. Because of that she just opened her armor and looked at guy that was indetified as Edward by her PAs ai.

"Hey mate. Come and take this armor, you could use it to help out. I got to get into med-bay," she said and left without waiting for his anwer. Along the way she met some bald guy limping towards the med-bay. He got some ugly burns on him. "Hey mate, wait up. I will help you," she said and took his arm around her shoulders.

"Yeah? You want a medal too? Shut the fuck up, and get on the table." Suku pointed over to the examination table as she hustled over to grab some gauze and clotting medicine. Then, she came back over him, making sure he was on the table and began to stop the bleeding, while stabilizing the wrist itself. She jabbed his arm with some painkiller while she was at it.

"You, stay here, I'm going to do a prosthetic procedure on your hand once I get the emergency procedures out of the way. So, don't move, and don't go anywhere, hot shot." Suku said before standing up to address her next patient. Who was a rather boyish looking woman, Sam, who was being assisted by Alex.

"God damn, you look like shit." Suku said in an honest tone, she pointed at Alex. "You, help process the other guys that come in." She pointed at Sam. "You, on the next table." Suku said, taking Sam's arm and jabbing some painkiller into her.

"Start pulling off whatever is sticking to you, I'm going to grab some skinburn ointment to put on that." Suku said, going across the bay to grab some of the ointment and refilling the painkiller in her Hypolathe.
