Kotori puzzled Nyton's question a moment before replying: "Hinoto should be looking after his needs, but he might not have eaten yet. If so, then yes, you can escort him around at your discretion. Once he's done eating you can send him to me - I guess I'll be skipping breakfast until I am done with him."

He was done sooner then he would have liked, the samurai was finished with his distracting tasks. He got up from his kneeling position with a set of white flowers in his hands delicately held as he moved over to a spot with a table to try and create the same art he studied during his time in samurai training. Ikebana was not simply putting flowers in a container; his sensei had instructed him that it was a disciplined art form in which nature and humanity are brought together. He was told that the art was just as important as any sword style, so he tried to treat it with the same sort of respect and professionalism as he tried his hand at it.

He began utilizing three types of white flowers; the chrysanthemum, calla lilies and orchids. In a tall simple white square container of glazed clay with elegantly rounded edges, he placed the flowers and rearranged them keeping in mind the important aspects of shape, line, form. Finding the connection between earth, man and heaven was another issue though-- so for now the samurai tired his best to make something ascetically pleasing.

He finished the traditionally minimalist arrangement and looked at it for a little longer pleasantly surprised with the results. But now there was the issue of the mess he had made, not in the room. But on his hands and even on his cheek while wiping his face to relieve an itch earlier. He scanned his clothing, even in all the work his clothes didn't get stained, he let out a sigh of relief. "Well, I guess it's time to wash up," he said inwardly as he headed on his way to the wardroom.

The samurai quietly made his way down the stairs and then up to the table and placed the beautiful arrangement in the center. Then without saying anything to anyone, he continued on towards the exit and off on his way towards the baths. Just like before he let the familiar layout lead him to hid destination without thinking much of it, and arrived at the bathhouse within the Miharu. It was so nostalgic, yet so unfamiliar as well, everything wanted to evoke a memory but it was all too different.

He found a place to place his ceremonial robes and removed his clothing and katana, taking the time to wrap a towel around his body before entering into the bath itself. His parrying blade however was snug into his waist. Traditionally in places he wasn't supposed to carry his sword, he was to take his smaller blade with him. He didn't take much time doing anything else. He just walked over to the showering station and removed his towel and placed his wakizashi on top of the folded cloth. There he cleaned up before going over to the hot bath and sinking his male Nekovalkyrja body into it, letting the warmth sink into his muscles and relax his mind.

"I will make certain to save you something good Kotori-sama." Nyton replied before bowing again, a smaller bow this time. "By your leave your highness."

The Nepleslian turned and walked out, closing the door behind him. Since Wazu had been put in the other passenger suite it would not take Nyton long before he arrived there. The sight of Sigurd wearing a maid apron caused a pause before he continued forward.

"Good morning, Sigurd. I trust you and Hinoto are ensuring our guest's stay is comfortable. Has he had any breakfast yet?" Nyton said.

Masako realized she had forgotten something the moment the door was opened. Seeing Shizuka's attire, she realized it must have been holographic in nature...considering most of her own clothing would probably have been a bit tight on the taller Neko. "No, you didn't over sleep Shizuka-san," the Warrant Officer replied as she smiled at the enlisted woman gently.

The raven-haired Neko also noted something else about Shizuka as they stood there at the door. Her eyes...there seemed to be clear signs of tears being shed earlier. Whether it was serious or not was unknown to Masako, but maybe it was better to figure it out. Nodding in affirmation, the Warrant Officer stepped into her room and allowed the door to closer behind her.

"I hope you weren't bothered by the amount of pillows I had," she said in a quiet tone. "That's been a little...quirk with me. I can't stand 'average' bedding...silk sheets and lots of fluffy pillows are a must," she continued with some small talk as she looked at the sleeping Akiko with a smile upon her lips.

With the conversation apparently breaking up, Miyoko took Tom's lead, heading back to her room to retrieve her uniform and toiletries. Then, with those in hand, the Yamataian headed for the baths.

"Good morning to you as well, Taii," Sigurd replied, giving Nyton a polite, formal bow. "We are doing our best to make his accommodations pleasant during his stay - for example, sprite Mara has instructed me to wear this Nepleslian bodyguard attire," Sigurd gestured to the frilly maid apron he wore, "to make Heram Wazu feel less alienated during his stay."

"I do not believe he has consumed any comestible matter after his rest cycle," the Custodian added.

Nyton nodded along as Sigurd explained why he was wearing a maid apron. He figured there was some joke being played by Mara but he was not sure to what end. As much fun as it would have been to participate Nyton instead chose to maintain a more professional air around Wazu. "Ah, very good Sigurd. I have been instructed to escort our guest to have some breakfast before he meets with Ketsurui Taisa. I can take over from here. If you have any other duties please attend to those for the time being, thank you." he ordered.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Shizuka smiled back at Masako. "It was no bother at all. You have a very comfortable bed. Akiko-chan obviously thinks so too as you can see. She is still fast asleep and I could not blame her. Our imprisonment was especially hard on her." she whispered back.

"Oh Kurohoshi-Juni, if you do not mind my asking, when would breakfast be served? Akiko-chan has such an appetite when she wakes up and I have been starting to get a little hungry as well." Shizuka asked quietly.

Tom sashayed into the public baths, throwing his towel to his side with a big grin on his face. He was glad to be rid of the frilly towel; it seemed to shame him more than being buck naked in the baths.

He slid into a stall, his feet pitter-patting softly on the floor. He made an dance of the entire process, carefully measuring the movement of his arms and hands as he lined up the necessary toiletries: soap, shampoo, oils, in a neat order within a wall-mounted holder.

He hummed a chord of the Grand Dance of the Raltean Ice Festival, recalling memories of home and family. As the cold water of the shower slammed into him, he shivered and remembered the numbing sensation he had embraced while performing the multi-hour dance. The movements sped through his mind like falling snow, each flake a memory of a particular gesture or step, each mimicked on a minute scale inside the stall.

He washed himself alongside these memories of his home.

How was his mother and father doing? His friends back home? Surely, they were maintaining the proud tradition of their town, as many generations before them had before.

He soon emerged from the stall, skin red, and made his way to the baths. It was then that he noticed the blonde-haired Samurai sitting in the waters. As he finished another bar of the song, he slid into the bath and let the warm water do its thing.

"Hasegawa-Juni," he said. "How are you this fine morning?"

Sigurd nodded and began untying the apron. "Very well, Sir. I will then leave this in your care." The custodian offered Nyton the apron. "As a Nepleslian you will no doubt wish to wear this warrior's regalia around our guest."

Nyton chuckled a little as he accepted the apron from Sigurd. "While I am Nepleslian, I represent Yamatai in this matter so I will carry on as I am. I will however bring this along in case Wazu becomes nervous." he said while folding it up and tucking it under his arm.

As soon as the door was clear Nyton rang the chime.

Sigurd, for his part, departed down the stairs and then made his way to the corridor leading to the main passageway.

“You’ll have to excuse me for a moment, our pie talk will have to wait for later” Wazu said when he heard the door chime, turning towards the door and saying, “Come in.” For the time being he was unable to open the door.

Miharu unlocked the door to the passenger suite Wazu occupied. The ship's AI echoed Wazu's "Come in," for Nyton's benefit.

For the longest time the platinum haired samurai soaked in the warm waters, enjoying the heats effect on his rejuvenated muscles. He suspected he had missed most of the morning rush, but maybe he had arrived before it. He came to that realization as he noticed Tom enter by seeing him though his skin vision. He didn't bother greeting the man, instead content to remain silent and sit in the tub.

But his alone time finally came to an abrupt end as the other warrant officer joined him in the large bath. "I am well, and you Freeman-Juni?" Sumaru said casually to continue on the small talk. He hadn't really gotten to know the man, so he thought it would be best to use this time to learn more about him.

"Much better since yesterday," Tom replied.

Tom imagined the blood tendrils emerging from Sumaru's Mindy the other day, when he was fighting with Eve. More importantly, however, Tom had never really talked to a Samurai before. He figured a compliment regarding his performance during the mission would serve well.

"You too, it seems," he said, tilting his head towards the male Neko. "I am pleased that your recovery went so well. You fought very bravely."

Opening the door, Nyton carefully observed the room and occupant for a few seconds before entering. He stood before Wazu and gave a slight bow as courtesy to a guest. "Honorable Heram Wazu, I am Taii Nyton Claymere. I greet you as a fellow Nepleslian and have volunteered to escort you to breakfast. Afterwards I will take you to see the Taisa. Are you ready to go or do you need another minute to freshen up?" Nyton said.

“I am ready to go now,” Wazu replied, wondering if such a verbose introduction would be expected of him. “Although, I am afraid I do not know the proper formality to use in this situation.”

Tom's small kiss did not improve Yukari's day. She did not notice it.

By the time she awoke, no one was around close enough to talk to. She needed to get clean anyway. She smelled of sweat and sex; during the night, she had not afforded any effort to care, but now she had to. Morning briefings would be along soon enough.

The Shosa got up from the couch-like chair in the wardroom and turned around, rubbing her head. She nearly collided into Sigurd, who had been standing next to the chair for mere moments.

"Shosa," he said in his typical fashion. "You are well?"

"Yes Sigurd-san," Yukari replied wearily. She ducked as she passed by him, still holding her head. "Please return to your duties. I will be fine."

The war android continued on his way. Yukari walked up the stairs. She came to her room, which contained no Tom.

She sighed. Her skirt uniform would not work for the revolver, which still lay near the pit. She went to her drawers and removed the other jumpsuit uniform she had, and found a box beneath it. Her medals and pins box, which she opened to see all of her awards. She traced a finger along the old Seitô pin, slightly battered as it was, then closed the box, uniform under one arm, and her gun under the other.

Yukari walked out again; the showers would be best for her at that moment.

Nyton motioned for Heram to follow him. "Right now the formality is stay close, don't wander away, eat to satisfaction, listen, and be patient. The rest I can explain while we walk and eat breakfast. From what I saw yesterday, you have a lot to learn when it comes to diplomacy, sir." he said in a neutral tone of voice.

As they walked through the hallway towards the kitchen Nyton kept a high priority lock on Heram with his internal targeting system while he talked. It monitored movement, breathing, pulse, along with a scan to determine what was still flesh and what was cybernetic. Although it had been said that Heram's physiology was incompatible with cybernetics so he also wanted to verify this. Apparently there were traces of cybernetics noticeable in the chest and leg region. The 360 vision kept it active at all times regardless of their position relative to each other although Nyton tried to keep Heram next to him at all times. At the same time though, Nyton focused on using his main eyes so as not to give away that he could see all around him.

"First off, as I am sure you are already well aware, you are now aboard the YSS Miharu, of the Star Army of Yamatai. Any further questions about the ship will be ignored. Second, our current location is near the capital planet of Yamatai. Our next destination will be likely be dependant on you. Further questions regarding that will be handled by the Taisa. In case you are unaware of Yamataian rank system, the captain is the Taisa, our executive officer is a Shosa, and I am a Taii. That would make me roughly the third in charge so remember to use that old fasioned concept of 'respect' when you speak to the Taisa because she is as high as it gets aboard this ship. Third, any questions about our mission and your purpose on Bowhordia being mutually beneficial might be answered by the Taisa. Further questions now will only be ignored but feel free to tell me everything about your motivations for chasing down a criminal as highly regarded as Eve along with any information you may have on her." Nyton explained, adding some inflection to his voice at certain points. He also enforced the formality to 'listen' by speaking without giving any opening for reply. While Nyton did not want to be rude to such a famous Nepleslian he also knew that the man had practically insulted the ship and everyone aboard it so the kid gloves were off.

The whole discourse occupied the time it took for them to arrive at the Miharu's kitchen. The kitchen, which was seperated into four sections consisting of the serving area, the galley, the scullery and food storage, was already busy. Apparently there was food being set out by some of the sprites whom had gotten up early to prepare meals for the crews of both Miharu and Sekkou. Nyton then pointed over to the serving table. It had been set up buffet style with a variety of breakfast choices. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, even some more traditional assortments like miso soup, rice, vegetables, and the sort. Nyton looked around in the hopes some salmon had been prepared to take back to Kotori.

"Alright sir, I feel I have said enough for the moment. Lets grab some breakfast and find ourselves a table. After we have sat down I will begin explaining the formalities you will need to show before the Taisa. Stick to the plan and you will have a better chance of being heard out. If anything is hard to understand then give me an idea on what terminology I can use to help you better relate to it." Nyton said as he picked up a plate and passed it to Heram before taking a plate for himself.

Miyoko took care of her pre-bath preparations and then padded into the room. Two people in there already--even adding her, it was still quite a bit less than the baths could handle. Good. Beating the rush was her entire reason for coming early, after all.

The Yamataian slid into the warm tub, giving a nod of greeting to the two men so as to not disrupt their conversation.
