RP: YSS Miharu Mission 3, Aftermath

[Nyton]

"Thank you your highness. Should you require my services I remain available." Nyton said, giving a slight bow. He then looked at Yukari and bowed to her as well before he departed, helmet in hand. He was actually looking forward to removing the Armor and getting cleaned up. The cut above his eye would also require treatment to prevent infection along with a check on his eye's internal systems. The heat from the fire may have damaged some circuits.

Moving quickly Nyton arrived in the Armor bay and saw Tom and Rin. "Freeman, Rin, I see you two beat me here." he said as he moved over to the weapon racks and began to disarm. He removed the magazine from his LASR, cleared it, and set it on the rack. The magazines were put away along with the last SLAG rounds. He then moved over and began the process of removing his Armor.

"Ketsurui Taisa wishes to convey her gratitude for a job well done and gave everyone leave from their duties for the time being." Nyton announced to them.

 

[Fred]

Nimura had preceded Tom and already had her Daisy anchored in the armor rack. Upon Nyton's entry the sprite had set her helmet hanging from a vacant weapon rack and, with the Daisy's shoulders parted to the side and the chestplate bent forward, she wormed out with the help of her anti-gravity control; her flesh slick from having been kept in the confines of the power armor's moist internal insert.

With the sound of naked feet padded lightly on the room's black tiles, Nimura was left standing naked in front of her Daisy. Red welts still showed where weapon fire had breached the M6 she had operated in the first half of their ground operation, but the wounds already looked well on their way to be healed. With a complete lack of modesty and not paying much attention to Tom, or Rin, or Nyton conveying Kotori's thanks, Nimura started making her way to the decon room.

"Me?" Hinoto shot back as she started climbing a stairway to their right. "No, I prefer my Yaoi to stay in doujins instead of in 3-dimensions... but the Taisa is treating you as a guest and we yamataians treat our guests well, so, I offered."

 

[Tom]

"Acknowledged," Tom replied, continuing to strip off his armor.

"Sir, if I may speak boldly," he began after a few more seconds. "That mission was absolutely nuts. My mind is having difficulty wrapping around what we've just been through. The Taisa is very kind to give us time to let it all sink in."

He had just begun to step out of his suit. By now, Nimura had exited hers completely and was on the way to the decontamination room. He let out a soft sigh and shook his head after catching a glance at her injured form. It is hard to communicate with her. Is she angry? I am failing my role as a caretaker, it seems.

"Sir," he said, looking back to Nyton. "Have you seen Yukari? Is she well?"

 

[Zack]

“Sorry, I assumed you had an ulterior motive in asking about the sexbot.”

Wazu then decided he should add something to start working on getting onto Hinoto’s good side.

“… Though I appreciate the thought. I take it you prefer looking at porn in books rather than view screens? Or am I reading to much into the 3d vs 2d thing?”

 

[Nyton]

Nyton finished putting away his weapons and ammunition while Tom gave his opinions. He then moved on to removing his Armor. The helmet was a loss due to the damage it sustained. It would be easier to break it down and then build a new one. "Feel free to speak openly, Freeman."

"Sir," he said, looking back to Nyton. "Have you seen Yukari? Is she well?"

"She arrived along with Kotori-sama and is on the bridge now. She appeared well." Nyton said before looking over at Nimura.

While Nimura had not made much of her presence known, she had not escaped Nyton's vision. The sprite was definately a mystery to him. Something puzzled him about her. Regardless though he wanted to be sure she did not just wander off without some sort of acknowledgement. "Nimura-san, the Taisa's gratitude extends to you as well. You have mine as well for enduring the mission after being injured." he said, taking note of the injuries her body still bore.

 

[Fred]

Nimura turned long enough to give Nyton a nod in acknowledgment to his words before she entered the decon room. Apparently, with the mission over and urgency no longer requiring that she speak, the sprite was reverting back to old habits.

"Drawings are artistic. Live action usually feels fake, though," Hinoto simply explained to Wazu before they reached the top of the stairs. She walked up to a door and yanked it open with an audible 'clomp!' pressurized sound before gesturing Wazu in the suite. "Here you are."

 

[Kyoki]

Once in the armor bay, Rin went about stowing away what equipment she had brought with her. She was glad to be rid of them.

"Hai. Arigatou gozaimasu, Claymere-Taii," she thanked Nyton for telling herself and Tom about the leave once that Taii had arrived.

With the weapons, ammo, etc. all removed, the sprite went about exiting the armor. The helmet was removed and the Daisy opened up and she pried herself from the soft and slimy interior, shivering as she did so. "Yuck..." she muttered to herself. She was half out when... she remembered she was in the presence of others. Her cheeks instantly reddened and she scrambled to get out.

With that, Rin hurried over to the decontamination area. "Sumimasen," she said to the officers as she followed her fellow sprite.

 

[Tom]

Tom stepped out of his own armor now and let the cold air hit his body with a vengeance. In the process, he quickly absorbed the sight of Rin's nude body and smirked.

"This is my favorite part about getting out of armor, you know?" He said, letting the statement hang for what seemed an eternity before adding "Cold air on your skin is so refreshing."

 

[Zack]

“I see,” Wazu said, “Thank you for your assistance, you have been most informative.”

With that he entered the room and made a quick assessment of what was available to him in terms of tools, and computer terminals. This would take him right to the work space where he would begin to explore what the Megami system would allow him to do with the terminal.

 

[Nyton]

Nyton continued to watch Nimura as though some action would reveal her motivation for being so stoic. He would have to confront her sooner or later. From his side view he also watched Rin grow immediately shy and rush off to the showers. At least she was a fairly open book to read.

Shaking his head Nyton then got about removing himself from the Armor. Without any concern towards modesty he climbed out and landed in front of the Armor. The coolness of the air hit him unpleasantly but it was nothing he hadn't grown accustomed to. "I have never been much for the cold but at least the shower makes it well worth it."

 

[Fred]

Hinoto glanced at Wazu after he came in and inspected the room, saying: "I'll bring you a meal and some clean clothing later. You probably should use this chance to rest up a little." On that note, she closed the door and left.

The computer terminal seemed to have very little to offer aside from the specifications of the NovaCorp-produced Custodian War Android, along with a picture folder titled "NAKED SNAPSHOTS OF MILES GUNN, YE 28-29" with 738 image files in it divided in the "Random", "Shower" and "Dare Parties" sub-folders.

Wazu had little chance to try and widen his access - the terminal seemed to stubbornly deprive him of a textual input to delve deeper in.

 

[Kyoki]

Rin, just before she left the bay, heard Tom's favorite part of getting out of an armor. Her further embarrassment, since she did make a quick assumption as to what that meant, along with her moist skin from the Daisy led to her slipping and falling to the floor. "Eep!" she squeaked out. In her spill, she failed to hear the second part of Tom's favorite.

A brief moment on the floor, slightly stunned, before she scrambled back to her feet and finished her exiting of the bay and into decon.

 

[Zack]

Wazu would try and run all of the different input options he could think of to operate the computer, starting with asking it nicely, then just asking, touching the screen, and slowly progressing toward waving his hands around in the air to try and trigger a motion based input, hoping he would eventually figure out the 'scroll' command before he accidentally found the 'look at naked pictures of miles gunn' command.

 

[Tom]

"You should come to Ralt," Tom said as he followed Nyton to the decontamination showers. "You quickly learn to love the cold!"

The wounds in Sumaru's sides were the deepest, and now they two were finally closing and going through the last process of healing. The samurai could feel his body's reconstruction come to its end, and with that his frost blue eyes drifted calmly open. The tank he was still suspended in by this point would make a beep to notify the completion of his healing process, and initiate the last few scans to update his medical file. He calmly waited for the medical staff to come and release him from the tank, while he took this time to request a report from the ship's Integrated Electronics Suite. "Megami, what were the results of the mission?" he asked telepathically to the computer.

 

[Nyton]

Nyton thought he would shiver at the thought but continued on to the shower. "I would have to give it some thought." he replied, not altogether wishing to ever visit a place as cold as Ralt.

 

[Fred]

Shower stalls were arrayed in the decon room, with water sounding off from one showerhead in the stall Nimura had chosen for herself.

Some of the pictures on Wazu's terminal involved a pasty skinned Nepleslian whom had the look of a Star Army science officer (sometimes partially) wearing the uniform appropriate for the time period. Some of the pictures taken were tasteful, most were not. A couple had mustaches doodled over the subject's face - obviously very poor photo-manipulations.

Wazu's efforts eventually unlocked 'bonuses' - the YAOI DOUJINSHI folder, with subfolders titled "ID-SOLxID-SOL" and "Steamy Clone Vats". Inside seemed to be the images of many compiled volumes of each of the relatively successful series of Yaoi graphic novels.

To Sumaru Miharu's MEGAMI replied: "The Bowhordia mission was successful, and we escaped the Bowhordia system without any additional casualities. Your charge remains safe. Ketsurui-Taisa has conveyed her appreciation for the efforts of all those whom have contributed to make this mission a success."

"Thank you Megami," Sumaru responded and then went back to his own thoughts. 'So they did it,' he reflected contently in the tube. He was impressed, he found even more reason to relax; and even more reason to respect Kotori's retainer. The enigmatic Nepleslian and the male Nekovalkyrja had much more to find out about each other now, and Sumaru was very interested in seeing this man's true battle potential. It would have to be a duel for another day though, the blond-- almost white haired samurai still felt the weight of his exhaustion on his shoulders. He glanced around to the other tubes beside him, and saw the other members of the combat team nestled in their healing fluids as well. Then he surveyed the bay outside the thick tube, it was a very busy medical ward. So instead of anxiously waiting to be let free, he folded his arms over his chest and closed his eyes once more--- drifting off to another, more restful, sleep.

 

[Kyoki]

Rin quickly scurried into a stall and started showering off. She desperately tried not to think about Tom's perverted comment and how much she had shown the others back in the bay, though at least it served as a distraction from other possible thoughts about the nastiness of the just-completed mission.

Her hot cheeks felt weird when compared to the rest of her body and how the water felt against her skin. At least she could get some rest after this.

 

[Doshii Jun]

The brief ... conversation with the Nepleslian man could not tear Yukari's attention from Nyton. Even wearing armor, he appeared to be very worn, in her eyes. The battle down below, had it been so taxing? She knew nothing of casualties.

But he perfectly encapsulated the loyal soldier, eyes still alive from the fighting. Kotori was likely proud of him, more than even her small bow revealed. When he left, she let out a small sigh.

Did Tom look like that? She did not want to think about it. That kind of hardness, the kind worn on the outside, was not why she fell in love with the Raltean man. She took up her familiar post on the Hoshi's bridge and turned on her headset. Traditional displays fed her information about Miharu's condition, which was better on the energy front. With the two ships reconnected, weapon capacitors were beginning to fill again, as well as the shield units.

The argument she and Tom had experienced before the battle came back to her mind, battling with the image of the 17T. How she had thought herself stupid and naive about her feelings. How she was going to have to choose.

We are not home yet, she thought, and ordered the volumetric visor to cover her vision again. The thoughts were crushed under the light outside of the ship, mid-fold.
